Smartphone Connect

At the moment this app is working extremely well, after a period when it didn't work at all. It gives us access to the landlines all over the house and had all the features you'd expect from your phone: call log, recorded messages etc, but on your mobile. Original set up was a bit clunky.

It works for demo purposes only.. For real life use , it is useless. It cant reconnect automatically, and it even remembers to ring 2 hours later , it looks like Panasonic has abandomed this device. But the issue is the software.. I bought this device for the ability to use my mobile phone as a client. But is totally useless, unless they will try to update the software.

Using it for the past month; Works as advertised... but has too many annoying bugs for a Panasonic brand; Able to make and recieve calls from my Galaxy Note Lite and also a Oppo v7. An update with bug fixes will make this unique product more appealing. The overall experience is only as good as the app experience. Following are what I found: i) Occasionally when starting the app, it keeps vibrating/ringing even though there is no call. Workaround is to force stop. Very annoying. ii) Battery usage is high. Annoying. Please profile/optimize the app. iii) Behaviour on lock screen is unpredictable -- unusable/disabled it iv) UX -- please use more soothing colours in the call log and 'more' menu. The magenta is too jarring to the eye.

it used to work just about ok, but has recently stopped working. I've rebooted the base station, deleted the connection to the station, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, etc. Now trying to reinstall everything it just says that the base station is not responding. Going to give up and uninstall forever. It was never much use anyway.

Besides the poor connection and manual restarts required which I could almost live with, the battery drain is ridiculous. its halved the life of my Samsung Note. Constant warnings about heavy power usage. Seems to drain the phone even when not connected and away from the network I use it on. In fact I would go as far as to say I wish I had returned these expensive phones as the app services were one of the main reasons I bought them. Do not buy if you want to use the app.

Absolutely useless. I could do better than this with my limited android coding experience. Excellent landline phone, excellent concept to connect to smartphone. Android app absolutely useless. Very expensive landline phone, so pull your finger out Panasonic and provide a half decent app - or contact me and I'll make one for you.

Good idea but poorly executed. Phone echoes a lot when using it. Connection drops out. Pity that it seems that Panasonic is not interested in updating the apps look and feel and developing it further. You'd be better off getting an extra handset than use this app. Maybe that's their strategy!

The app constantly loses connection with the base, even though I'm still within range. I always have to quit the app and re open it to reconnect. It's just annoying and unreliable to use.

The app is incredibly outdated and looks like the design was straight from 2009. The app is quite dodgy and I wouldn't install it as it asks for way too many permissions, such as changing system settings and see what apps are running on your device.

This app works well, but needs a complete UI revamp. Something that follows the material theme or at least looks good. It looks like an app that came straight out of 2010 and was never updated.

It is outdated app it has bugs and annoying sounds when making calls and it cut calls and consume power when it is on standby mode. In general it is not meet my expectations.

Works if you don't have wifi calling on , but that makes it useless to me as I have to have wif calling on as no cellphone reception where I live, They have updated the app and now it won't even connect, Panasonic you are terrible and I can see why you are a failing phone company. Massive waste of time and money. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PANASONICE DEVICE WISHED I HAD NEVER BOUGHT THIS JUNK

The best thing about this app is that you can copy all your phone contacts onto the landline phones. Pretty useless, otherwise

It would be nice if the connection could extend beyond home WiFi. It is achievable with Invoxia Voicebridge. And no more updates after 2018? Shame on Panasonic.

App looses connection to the base unit when I move to an area where wireless extender is installed. It's not connecting thru wireless extender.

Doesn't work! Just the red notification telling me it's not working. Tried everything to get it restarted. I give up. I'm going to uninstall

Does not work. Every time I have teied to use it to answer a call or make one the person the other end cannot hear me, which is kinda a big deal.

The concept is good but it has stopped connecting automatically and drops out regularly.

This application is a battery drainer and has an ugly/outdated design. I only use it because Panasonic left me with no other option =(.

Poor quality sound, calls, missed calls, received calls not displayed on smart phone. Generally a waste of money.

It worked well on my previous android phone but now I've switched to a new one with Android 10 and it doesn't work any more

It crashes all the time. The connection between mobile and phone stops.

Doesn't work with android 10. Doesn't ring when I get a call. Makes it pretty useless.

Not able to set up on android 10 Fix this !!! I just unbox the phone and need the app to work.

No longer works app has been abandoned by panasonic terrible support by what I thought was a reputable brand do not buy the phone do not download the app I will never purchase another Panasonic branded item ever again

Lucky for me I have the old version and it's working fine. just disabled the auto update.

Works very well. Is most convenient : fixed phone grouped into your single mobile phone !
