SmartScope Oscilloscope

Brilliant app. Large UI size allowed but not Humongous. Would be nice sometimes to have more readable text. Configurations can't be saved or deleted. Can't display measurements of any operators in the right side panel. The Android Back button is ignored/ can't close. No updates in years though ;-(

This has all of the functions found on a real 'scope. Trigger parameters and offsets, sample width, start/stop/auto, FFT, numerical information, everything is there. Excellent. This is a must-have app.

First: the number of stars is incorrect: it should be zero, for unrated. I added the app onto my Mi Note, then invoked it. It showed the splash screen, then unceremoniously exited. No diagnostics I did not even have an opportunity to see it work. It may be a good product. I don't know. The problem may be with my older version on MiUI and android. I don't know. This review is reliable for one thing: I was not able to evaluate SmartScope because it failed to load properly onto my device.

Best UX of any Oscilloscope I've ever seen. Annoying detail on Android 9: you have to manually grant it permissions in App-Manager, otherwise it will immediately quit without crash-log after launch.

Really confusing. wanted to use the headphone jack probe that comes with snap circuits with my 7 year old but this program seems to always use input from the mic on the phone.

Awesome app. So, helpful in analysing circuit ranging from milli Volts. No, adds. Great UI. Install it now, if you are a electronic hobbyist.

Good app, great device. The Android version NEEDS a close function! Every app under the sun has the ability to be closed except this one. Why would this get an excuse? Also, update the changelog both here on the Play store and on the website. What was the last update about? Who knows!

Viewing recorded data should be easier, and why can't I add a "New probe" ? The app closes, and the pc software closes.

Doesn't work on Nokia 6.1 and Android 9. Application complains that is was made for an older version of Android and runs, however, SmartScope is not detected and only works in demo mode.

It was good enough to measure small, ac coupled 7 khz signal with a probe hacked from an old pair of ear buds with a mic. (Do so at your own risk.)

Not obvious you need to buy a scope box to connect to this, which is the control and display. I bought a wonderful, complete portable scope for a small sum, so why bother with this?

Its very good, it almost every thing like duty cycle measurment and other things, please can this run on 100 Mhz by using audio jack?

Entirely broken on Android/OxygenOS 9.0.3, running on a OnePlus 6T. Does not even load and immediately crashes on opening.

Works ok, but fonts are really small on menu options.

GUI of this app is best. But for me it is less stable, crashes mostly. Also there is no scaling given for voltage when using audio input. Probe option also used but it did nothing. Since android hardware can only bear upto 3.7 volts therefore voltage scaling is required. Iam trying to measure upto 5v via audio probe by voltage divided to 2v for input. Anyway, app is good but waiting for improved version.

This is a great app and hardware unit. Downloaded the software plugged in the device and everything just works. The interface is nice and intuitive with lots of functionality. Well done

Perfect for numerous applications. You could legit create a professional oscilloscope out of it !!

It's more accurate than a guitar tuner.
