Waste of time. Because this is tied to your work credentials you can't log into it unless you have access to your work email, which makes getting vouchers for impulse purchases somewhat difficult, especially as it logs you out so often. Fundamental flaw.
Utterly disgusting customer service. The app has in more than 1 occasion failed. Causing multiple purchases of the same voucher. Also a purchase that I decided not to complete, actually went through. No refund was given and I was basically called a liar. Not a reliable app. Customer service appalling. Avoid.
Can't actually use this app! It opens on "Usage Statistics" and "allow app to" but you can move the screen down. Absolutely useless! Uninstalled, reinstalled and same thing happens.
Keep getting a usage statistics message with no way of accepting it, cannot scroll down to click continue, to move on from the message and access the app properly. Been like this for a week now.
App doesn't work. Screen comes up asking for data collection but you cannot move forward or go back, looks like an IT issue.
Very intermittent. Disappointing when you require it at short notice for savings. Overall great offers but the app is poor. Tried to uninstall and then reinstall but still the same problem, it will not load, freezes and then crashes.
I changed phone to s22+ and i can't log on past your usage statistics page. Nothing to click to move past to continue log in! Please fix. Use to really like this app
Having to reinstall because of your new notice posted today regarding collecting data. It's not giving you any options to proceed, go ack or ignore... IT issue. Usually a fairly good app.
Can no longer use app due to the notification that appears about improving the app ironically. Tried to uninstall and install same issue.
App is ok, but what let me down is the customer service and support of "Reward Gateway Pty Ltd". Issues can't get resolved, "instant" gift cards get stuck at processing level and all customer service can say is that it's been escalated and cannot say if they can give me a refund on something I paid for and did not receive!!!!
Makes notifications telling you to use the app even though I didn't opt in and there's no obvious way to disable them. Spam
Please allow easier login. At least save credentials. Allow easier payment. Allow Amex. Speed up instant voucher availability
The SmartSpending service itself is great, I love the discounts, but the app can be very buggy. Please add a wallet feature where you can store your instant cards and show the remaining balance! The app only shows the full balance, and checking the current balance is tedious, especially when you have to keep doing it over and over again, every time you go into the app!! You have to go to the retailers site and type in the card numbers each time to see if the card still has a balance. Adding a wallet showing the actual balance would bring mu rating to 5 stars!
App does not open now past the 2nd screen on my Pixal 6, works on my Samsung tablet. Please review and update the app.
As with previous reviews you cannot get past the app notification settings so cannot progress. Waste of time.
The app used to work fine but now it keeps signing me out, even with biometric recognition activated as app security. It's a pain to sign back in as I don't always have easy access to my work email to receive the 'magic code'. If you can't sign into the app easily then it's effectively useless. Sort out this fundamental problem and the rating will go back up.
Can't get past the analytics page. WASTE OF TIME and really frustrating.

Great app and works well most of the time. Sometimes it logs me out randomly and glitches out but for the most part doesn't happen that often which is good. I like how for the cashback options there's a link straight to the webpage. Wish instant e-gift card option was for all the retailers. Overall, great to use and saves a bunch of money!
Having access to all the discounts is great and there's a great selection, but the app is terrible. Buggy, bad UI, unclear which vouchers are the ones you want (when there's several options and they all have different conditions), and almost impossible to return vouchers if you've bought the wrong ones by mistake.
Pointless app unless you carry your physical card too, which nobody does any more!
The app overall is good, my only frustration is that the instant vouchers don't seem to be linked to an external account with the retailer. For example, I can buy a Costa instant voucher, but it would be great if I could simply add credit to my existing Costa account. As it stands I buy a voucher (save 10%), then open my Costa app to scan for points in store, before having to go back to the Smart Spending app to open the instant voucher to pay. Its a faff!
Not had any issues, works well. Bit basic but does the job.
Aside from the randomness of when the app allows you to sign in, when you buy an instant voucher to use on the spot, it just doesn't work. Still waiting for it to turn up 30 minutes later, potentially for it never to turn up. Great experience of the mobile app...
Can't get past a security notice rendering the app useless! Very disappointed
Good app when it works. Open app with finger print. However it logs me out frequently, and it's a nightmare having to log in again, especially when you're in a queue and trying to topup a reloadable card or buy an online voucher. Please sort this out! Why keep loggong me out? ??????? update on 27/3/22 Opened app top-upycards, however there is a message about usage statistics, which I cannot get past, not matter which option I choose!! there is no link to proceed to my cards. for goodness sake!!
