So I was trying to connect the device to my phone and I was having a really hard time so after doing a lot of research I figured out that once you download the app you have to go to your settings on your phone look for the app itself once you access it you're going to see if you can allow it permission for to link to your Bluetooth on your phone and for you to receive a data once you allow the permissions then it will work. hope this helps the next person having a hard time

just does not connect to phone. keeps saying "searching". super annoying. I tried to find a support button on the app and there is none. I called the number on the handout and it just says to email. so I did. the guy who emailed me had so much attitude I probably wont even write back. so bad.

(For Galaxy S9). Customer support was WONDERFUL. They fixed the login issue and helped me figure out how to allow the permissions to connect my device. I just bought this product recently but I was already able to use it for my sick 5 year old. OH! You do need to be near your child to read the device. I just walked up to her bedroom door (without opening it or disturbing her) to get a good reading. She had a virus and had already been to the doctor. It was easy to monitor her temperature.

(Galaxy S8) Received smarttemp gift set as a baby shower present over 6 months ago. App has had one update since then and still works terrific! Also installed app on our iPad, great! Reached out to customer service about buying more adhesives and received help quickly and efficiently.

Cannot get the device to connect. All it says is searching even though phone is connected to wifi and right next to device. Tried many times uninstalling and reinstalling but there's no use. I want my $ back

Had a very hard time connecting after I read some other reviews I was able to connect. You must go to setting in your phone and allow all permissions for this app. It would be helpful if app developers would ask permissions after installing.

Can't Even Register on the App. It just says "Unknown Error". Even on "Guest Mode" it doesn't recognize the thermometer. Uninstalled and reinstalled but it didn't fix the problem. Returning the product.

everytime, it fails to login. Gives link error and cant even request a reset on the password. This company knows they have a defective product and yet they are still selling this..... DO NOT BUY.

It won't let me sign up after multiple attempts. I even tried closing the app out and starting again and still can't sign up.

Will not stay connected on app and inaccurate readings every time it reconnects. The remote login with a second device doesn't work at all.

App does not work. Constant crashes. Temp is dangerously inaccurate, app was showing 97.3 same time Dr's thermometer was showing 102.2, do not use this on your child.

This app is useless. The product is junk. If you aren't sitting on top of your phone the reading g cuts I. And out. The records are spotty and there's no way to see what the temperature actually was whw. It got high... Except guessing. The app keeps erroring and won't stay open.

It's worthless. No support from company. The unit does not connect with/ to the app. Lastly website states temp with in 5 min, however, no temp after 20 min. Garbage product.

Keeps on logging me out and losing connection... not very reliable... so much money wasted... totally not worth buying it when the app is so crappy

It won't let me register?? And I don't understand???? The thermometer had great reviews, but I didnt look at the apps reviews. Just hoping it works eventually so I can get use of the $80 thermometer. My daughter has febrile seizures and I bought this to help monitor her temperature more, but I can't even use it.. extremely disappointed.

Poor range, consent shuts off, wont stau connected

The app is constantly disconnecting from the device. Also, I have to continue to turn the app off then back on to get it to add an event like giving medicine. When everything is working correctly, it is fantastic! The other night, the app disconnected for 45 mins and my son went from 98.7 to 104.3 within 30 mins. When it reconnected it did wake me up at 2 in the morning to alert me. He was sleeping right next to my bed, so it is not a distance issue or interference issue.

App gives unknown error when registering. So I registered from the website and came back to login, Nothing working. Even the guest mode doesnt work because device isnt allowing me connect to it via bluetooth. Such a disappointment!

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Worst app I have ever dealt with and it's a product for my child! Complete waste of money on this thermometer now!

couldnt register it, it didnt work, not worth the money. returning it tomorrow

I have had this device for more than year now. App used to suck horribly when I got this device. It looks like it went through a few updates since then and now works flawlessly on my HTC 10 at least. It no longer disconnects. I also verified with my hand held thermometer and they are both within 0.05 of each other. Thank you. This is life critical for me since my son gets fabrial fits if temperature climbs too fast. I am in debt.

Because the things a piece of s*** and it's not worth $75 I bought this because my son has seizures when he gets fevers and all this thing does is log me out everytime I log in. So if anyone else is looking into buying this I probably wouldn't it's a waste of money.
