A frustrating experience attempting to use this device. When finally paired to my Samsung, the temperature quit showing when about two steps were taken, and it stopped working. I tried all sorts of things but just too frustrating. Usually don't have time, when cooking to play around with a poor quality gadget like this, trying to reset it frequently through the cooking time.

App works perfectly. My phone and tablet both pair almost instantly. Setting custom temperatures and setting up profiles is quick and easy. The only weird thing is I've had to manually set the camera app permission and when taking a photo the screen is black so you can't actually see what you're photographing until after you take the photo. All up a very stable and reliable app.

As with many App users, Bluetooth connection is not straight forward. You have to futz around but it does connect. By its very design, the battery size limits the connection distance, you are lucky to get 5-6 metres, not what is claimed. The documentation requires improvement and over simplifies. The custom profile is great, but disappears after shutdown- that needs improvement.

Simple to use but it doesn't work. Went 20ft from the thermometer and lost Bluetooth connection. Could not reconnect until I was closer to the unit. Disconnecting also restarts the timer (hope you weren't counting on that) and resets the cooks settings. I'll return this unit and wouldn't recommend. Also, pulled a roast out at a reading for 44C that was over cooked (63C should be medium rare). The thermometer reading was 20 off

Unless you leave your phone on beside the unit the app is useless. I have had to reconnect the app every time I look at it. Makes the timer useless as it resets too. Im have it in the smoker outside right outside the door and it disconnects 8 feet in the kitchen. GRR. Cooking a 12+ hr brisket i want to checkin periodically not stand over it. More of a pain to reset each time then go look at the display on the unit.

Unfortunatly it is the cheap hardware, the temp measuring device, that fails, the hardware does not pair. So this app cannot connect. I bought the Em2239, small square device no buttons, sold by many names, that fails to pair. If it does not turn on the bluetooth indicator there is no connection and the app fails.

Doesn't save added profiles after session finishes/resets. And Bluetooth connection is sketchy AF, it breaks constantly over so you have to re-pair it if you want to see it on the app, then re-add the profile. Which defeats the purpose of having the app. A pretty ordinary attempt from whoever was responsible.

Bluetooth disconnects frequently when using despite having my phone only 20 ft away. Reconnecting is a shot in the dark, sometimes it connects right away and other time it doesn't. The thermometer will be going back to the store after one use.

Nice device which does the job well. I will continue using the thermometer. But as others have said, Bluetooth connectivity is terrible. The connection drops out at about 3 metres, making the App all but useless.

I wish I could give zero stars to this app. Couldn't connect to my Samsung phone. Took me a while to even figure out that this app is the one that's "supposed" to pair with my thermometer. I'm generally a pretty tech savvy guy, but this was so poorly designed that I couldn't get anywhere with it. Deleting the app, returning the thermometer, and never buying something like this again. Guess I'm going old school with the brisket in starting tonight.

Rubbish. Do not buy if your expecting this to work with your Android device. False advertising, it does not work. As a stand alone thermometer it's fine but the main feature of the app and Bluetooth connectivity is rubbish.

Samsung A20 paired no problem. Bluetooth stops when no increase in temp for a while but established connection when temp changed. Need to clear data and cache after update or reinstall to get preset profiles back. Limited range of Bluetooth only downside.

Keeps dropping the Bluetooth connection and repairing requires you to take out the batteries and reinsert them, which resets the settings whole cooking. Where are the channel selects so that I can see all 3 temps on my phone?

When I got this thermostat, it said it would pair with apple or android, was not successful with pairing with my samsung at all, only with an old ipod I had. the thermometer itself seems to not be calibrated, I have a new non digital probe reading 120, and this thermostat is reading 100. I have a 3rd non digital probe I'm checking it against.

works perfectly, connecting was easy for Samsung S8+ i was reading some of the reviews and you need to allow everything for it to connect any deny will cause it to no connect as easy. basic app and easy to use

Chinese garbage at its finest. It doesn't work with any Android device. It also reqires access to the photos/videos on your device, so it's really just a scam for them to steal and sell your photos/videos.

Tried to connect to four different smartphones. One iOS and three different brand Android. Did not connect to any of them. Do work as a thermometer though but ridiculously expensive one for NO other functionality than measuring the temperature

I can connect my device to the app, but the device beeps with 3 sec intervals when it's connected to the Bluetooth. When it's not connected it's silent so I don't think it's the batteries...

The app doesn't maintain stored temp profiles. It doesn't keep a history through a cook, the Bluetooth connection keeps crashing. This could all be fixed with an update

Asks for permission to files, photos and media, which I'm not willing to give to a digital thermometer app. I can only assume that is what causes the app to get stuck on the load screen. Unusable

Lost connection after few minutes of use, can't get it back. Update: have connection now but changing set temp in app does not change in meter, keeps beeping, I want to throw this rubbish out the window

Too many and unrequired permissions requested. Unable to connect via Bluetooth, tried on multiple Samsung devices still unable to connect. Please sort out these bugs 🐛
