not sure if it's the app or the device associated to it but this was a very disappointing experience. I could never pair to the thermometer no matter how I tried and then one of the probe input sockets stopped working. Don't waste your time with this, it will only end in disappointment. Returned the thermometer and deleting the app. Looking at a lot of the reviews with similar experiences, I never see any feedback from the developers, looks like they don't care.

App has a pretty icon, but functionality is greatly lacking. Sure, you have 8 preloaded profiles for cooking, but only Beef, Veal and Lamb have different doneness temperatures, however all the temperatures are the same across those 3 profiles. So why even preload data with temperatures so far off? Added my own profile for Pork, ended up having to add it 3 times. I had to create a profile for each temperature probe (or channel). Profiles should be shared across each probe. Profile button (or screen) has a timer and the Timer button (or screen) has a countdown. Display shuts off after a while, need to turn it back on in order to see temps and toggle through each of the probe temps. Display angle of view is horrible and hard to read. Wasn't bright at all, and even when it seemed I was looking directly at it, I still couldn't make out what the readings were. Oh, and Bluetooth range on a Galaxy S10 is about 10 feet with no obstructions.

I just installed the app and it seems to be be working just fine. I managed to connect to the thermo device pretty quick and the temperature information is refreshing almost in real time. There are some designs and functionality improvements that can be done, but the overall it leaves a good impression.

Not sure when this updated and started working, but hasn't worked over the last six months. Haven't even tried since day one. Checked it out today after upgrading to Android Q and boom, working perfectly! Absolutely love it! Do wish settings would retain if i drop pairing after stepping too far away.

SmartThermo app pairs and works really well. Trick is to start the app, press pair then start the thermometer. Any other way and the hardware times out trying tpair. It's not the app that's problematic, it's the hardware, Matador need to review the way the hardware pairs.

Crashes on opening. I installed this app in late 2019 for my new thermometer and it worked OK. Now, 4-5 months later, it just crashes when you try to open it, even after a reinstall. I'll adjust this review if the resolve it.

I live the thermometer but the app is garbage, which kind of means the they is garbage. App crashes every time I get more than 10 feet away. Ad a result I have to constantly reset the damn thing. Every time you pair it it zeros out

THIS APP SHOULD BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY FROM PLAY STORE! The app worked perfectly 2 months ago. Now it stops immediately. Dozens of reports here just like mine. And no one from support returns email, texts, or voice messages.

Crashes on launch every time. Older SmartThermo App works, but I can't figure out how to switch between multiple probes on it.

App keeps crashing as soon as you open it. I've deleted and reinstalled, and that didn't help either. So much potential, poorly executed!

Constant crashes. I get to the splash screen and it just stops running. Will be looking into a new product soon.

App does not keep set temp or properly send that temp to the device. All of the Fahrenheit temps for doneness are much lower than required for actual safe cooking. Will update review if issues are corrected.

App suddenly closes whenever an alarm goes off, whether it's a timer or temp alarm the app just closes. Bluetooth connection with sensor is not stable.

Loses Bluetooth connectivity when closing the app. Need to pair again every time. And it's hard to pair.

I was able to pair the app with Digoo DG-FT2303 Smart Food Thermometer. Upon pairing the name of the device includes the passkey. Using this app with the Thermometer is a little confusing and time consuming.

Doesn't connect to the thermometer. The thermometer works well but won't pair with the app. If the thermometer wasnt as good as it is it would be going back to the store i bought it from.

Does not store settings on closing. Every time i connect, everything is getting reset and i get the annoying beeping from the device.

I bought a three probe thermometer so that I could have two probes for the meat and one probe for the grill temperature but the app will not allow me to pick a temperature above 175 so the alarm goes off continuously

This one is about the same as the other. Not reliable. Also wants access to photos and videos. For what reason does it need to access my photos?

Stopped working months ago. The app crashes. Reinstalled, reset phone, nothing works. No updates.

Worst fkng app ever. Closes immediately upon opening. Loses contact soon as screen shuts off on the rare occasion ot connects.

App crashes as soon as you open it for the last few months. I've only been able to use the thermometer once since I got it.

Just installed this on my pixel 4xl and it will not open. Uninstalled and tried again, same result. Going to send the probes back.

New update works great with Samsung Galaxy S8! Range is a bit short though but pairs quickly.
