Very inconsistent! I do not trust the accuracy of this app. This app seems to be very sensitive and it does not accurately record the driving experience. I seem to get penalized for the time of day I drive. Most of my trips take place very early when there is no traffic, but I get scored lower because it is early. Even though I answered my phone by Bluetooth and hands free, I was penalized for answering my cell while driving. This app is a farce. There is absolutely no way to satisfy this app.

This app is very inconsistent! The data provided is inaccurate! I'm receiving high risk scores for phone usage when my phone isn't being used, and apparently I can't use my navigation, which comes from my phone but is displayed on screen in my vehicle, because the result might be negative. I'm an extremely cautious driver, but my scores demonstrate a potential high risk. So much for the 20% discount next term. It feels like the inaccuracies are intentional. I'd rate this app ZERO if I could!!!

Only downloaded because I'm forced to use it. I wish it did a better job at rating. Anyone who is a careful driver is bound to get as offended as many of us who have rated the app because you're judged on time of day, smoothness of driving and things that don't feel like it rates you well. Feels more like it's assessing risk during the path you took from point a to point b. Maybe instead of a rating / grade it should just give you green, yellow or red.

Way too sensitive, matter how easy you come to a stop or take off slow, the app insistes it's not good enough. It's totally geared to help the insurance company to say your driving is bad.

This app inaccurately scores my driving habits. I did not speed nor press breaks abruptly, but it scored me 75 by telling me I drive too fast and break suddenly and frequently. It scored me 57 for fast driving!! I did not touch my phone at all while driving, but still gave me 97 not 100. I don't understand why it did but wonder if it is related to bad signal receptions I get, because I live in an area where phone signals are bad. Or could speed bumps in my area contribute to this inaccuracy?

Even when my phone is in the center console and not touched by anyone, points are docked. Trip duration says to take a break every 1-2 hours, yet still scores in the 60s when the trip is 1.5 hours. This is definitely between 1-2 hours! Smooth driving is also a joke because it doesn't say where the harsh braking/accel. happens, nor which one it is (unlike other apps). I can pretty much coast to a stop and not make it fully up to speed btwn stop signs and I still score in the 70-80 range.

While I did earn a discount. I dont think the speed limits are always correct on the app, and eventhough my car has handsfree calling. I never touch my phone to make a call. It would still count against me. I dont see how talking handsfree on the phone is any worse than singing to the radio or having a convo with someone sitting beside you in the car. Other than that no issues. Just make sure you remember to change to passenger within 24 hours if you weren't the one driving.

Inaccurate particularly in the area of smooth driving. Rough roads in particular seem to trigger bad scores on smooth driving. If you're going to be driving anywhere except on the highway every pothole or bump in the road is going to count against you, keeping even the best drivers from getting a good score. I spoke to the company responsible for this app and they didn't have any good answers except don't have anything touch the screen which isn't the issue at all.

Time of day rating is ridiculous. I can't always choose when to drive and am penalized when it isn't during the optimum driving times. App sucks the life from your battery. City driving results in decreased scores for stops and starts. No way to distinguish between hands free phone usage and holding your phone in your hand while driving usage. I think this app is another way for insurance companies to take money from you.

Overall good app. I hate that it consistently gives me lower scores at smooth driving and phone habits. I DO NOT have harsh stops and fast accelerations! I think these surely are a way to constantly make you try harder. It works but is maddening. Also I do not use phones when driving. My smart phone displays incoming calls and texts. All I do (or most often my spouse the passenger) presses the ignore button on the screen. So those things frustrate me to no end. I better get my discount.

This app uses location, so knows every street a person drives. How is it not possible to figure out that when you're driving in an area where there are traffic lights every tenth of a mile that a person cannot avoid stopping and starting repeatedly? Also, I don't touch my phone or use it in any way (no Bluetooth either), but I get a 91%?? What's up with that? I hope some of these issues will be addressed and fixed. I do like that a trip can be identified as me not being the driver!

This app can't tell when you're no longer driving (and can be walking) using your phone & it lowers your score for using your phone. I also felt an invasion of privacy of how it can apparently only track your driving if it had full access to location, body movements at all time's (even when not moving). On my end I could see it is able to track JUST your driving with limited authorization. But you will get dropped from program because they allegedly can't track it.

docks you for phone use but don't ask if you are on a hands free device or if it's you on the phone. my kids use my phone when I'm driving. It also docks you if you use gps.

this app helps keep me thinking about safe driving. the only down side is when my daughter is using my phone when I am driving there is not anyway the app can discriminate whose using the phone so I got a few lower scores on phone usage.

It incorrectly records activities, such as speeding when you have your cruise control on. It's information cannot be trusted.

Consistantly under rates score with extreme sensitivity to any minor acceleration. Dings for entry on freeway to achieve cruising speeds or deaccelleration when exiting as harsh braking. You have to be in bed by 3pm after that its a poor score. Can't drive at night without a time of day score in 60s. It's a Kobayashi experience. This app is pure trash and a trap.

If using this app negatively affects my insurance, I will be very upset. On one trip I had a phone score of 79, which is yellow. It said I used my phone to much during my drive. IT NEVER LEFT MY PANTS POCKET. Sure, I could hear the alerts come in on my phone, but I was not using it. When I got a call, I used the Bluetooth connection in my car to take the call hands-free. It also keeps saying I am driving too fast. I have not been more than 5 mph over the speed limit.

App claims I can set the trip type to prevent it from being scored incorrectly, yet when I go to the trip screen, there is nothing I can select that allows me to edit a trip! This will likely end up reflecting poorly on my driving, when though it was a completely unrelated activity (jet ski)

Ratings are skewed. 1. "Phone" shows lower than 100% because this app uses the phone...not me. 2. "Smooth Driving" deducts for potholes, speed bumps & bad roads...not my doing. 3. "Trip Duration" doesn't make sense at all. 4. "Time and Day" is just a mystery. Saturday after 4pm lowers your score??? 5. Using cruise control the past 2 wks & it still deducts for speeding...bogus!!! As long as I get the maximum discount I won't care...if not OUCH!!!!!

There is some very unfair categorizing built into the grading system. There doesn't seem to be any time for someone in their 80's to drive and get a good score for time of day. Also, if you are driving at the speed indicated by the speed limit signs in urban areas, you are graded as speeding. In Sun City Arizona the city street speed limits change rapidly from 25 to 30 to 35 to 40. These are the areas where I was graded most often as speeding even though I was going at the speed limit.

The app doesn't really show a true representation of your driving. I drive a Tesla even when on auto pilot it scores my smooth driving in the 70's. If I was able to rate this app i would give it 0 stars!!!

HATE, HATE HATE!!!!! This app is basically hot garbage! It runs in the backgroundhaving constant access to your location and you have no control over it! I should be the one to decide what and when something runs on my device!!! You require waaaaaaay too many permissions! Totally invasive practice! Trust very low - not happy at all. I hate it! If it was possible to rate it zero stars or even negative (-5 stars) that's the rating it deserves!

I talk on my phone while sitting still in a parking lot because it is thru my car and they give a bad rating. I get texts but dont answer still bad score. You get a bad rating for the time of day you drive. Sorry I have to work and pick up children. I dislike this app and am trying to get my husband to quit it and pay extra for our insurance

Smooth driving....you get a low score because you accelerate and brake when your supposed to. It doesnt make sense. Also time of day is not good to have on their either. I work odd hours at time and i go to work and back thats it.

I wish I could give 0 stars! It's sad that an insurance company bases their premium on an inaccurate app. My score every day was 75 my final score was 75 and resulting in an 10%INCREASE on my policy at time of renewal. No matter how good you are driving it didn't record accurate info. now I have to fish for another insurance company and having the inconvenience of multiple unwanted phone calls due to the fact because of sold information in looking for it.. shame on you for making this a thing

Imagine for a moment that you want to show your insurance agent how well you drive your pickup truck. So you invite them along for a ride. But before you start, you blindfold them, plug their ears, tie their hands behind their back, and make them balance on a beach ball in the bed of your pickup. Now you have some idea of the impossible situation this app has to deal with in rating your driving. There is no possible way it can even come close to being consistent and fair.

Doesn't accurately show your driving

This app has me driving through lakes ,walls ,houses and I never left the house very unrealiable check daily or it will automatically score that trip best thing to do is leave location off all the time except when your actually driving

Speed limits are wrong. Inner city driving ranks low no matter how well you obey traffic laws and syreet signs and spred limites.. Sometimes it thinks i was on a bike. 40 minutes after i get home or to work the app still thinks im driving. It also locks my phone so i can only make emergencys calls. I have to power off and restart just to make or receive calls. I recieve points off cause my job requires me to go work and come home duting rush hour.
