this app works great. one time my online order wouldn't process so I called my local store and was told it was most likely because one or more of the items I was trying to order was unavailable and to remove that/those items and try again. sure enough it worked. point is, customer service was great as well.

Even though I have an email and my number is affiliated with my account, I can't log in and even when I request a new password, it freezes after I enter the new password twice. Very frustrating

Made an order that was supposed to be for delivery. Once the order processed it was processed as A pick up order I contacted the store immediately and with understanding it took about 25 rings for them to pick up the phone spoke to the on duty customer service person who stated that she would process my return which which has not been been completed. Now I have to contact my Financial institution to investigate and clear this up.

App & rewards program confusing and difficult. Something always goes wrong and I end up having to order in person after wasting a bunch of time trying to order in app. Been this way for years now. Update: its only certain locations. Specifically, White Plains, NY. This location seems terrible in general compared to others.

The app has everything you need to place your order. All the expected hoops you have to jump through the first time but after that it should be easy to reorder your favorite. Unfortunately not. It does have a feature for saving your favorite order but retrieving it the next time is extremely difficult. Not intuitive at all, it's easier to just start over which is no faster than just going in and standing in line.

Garbage Experience. This app, which clearly had expensive development, does not perform or have a usable user interface. Navigation is not intuitive, the menu is not laid out like it is in their stores. Plus, I spend all the time to set up an account, but then to place an order, I have to sign in again. But it doesn't recognize the account (I'm guessing one database isn't talking to the other) so I'm unable to place an order after spending 10 minutes dealing with setup and laggy UI navigation.

This app is extremely frustrating. I was able to log on using my rewards information, but then it wouldn't keep the same info when I ordered. I had to re-login, but then it said I had an incorrect password. It was hard to edit our orders, and would lose the order without warning. We had to start over 2 times and almost didn't order anything. This app is poorly designed and is hard to navigate.

The online ordering is atrocious! It's 2019, not early 2000s. The online ordering is just a garbage browser window within the app and is an entirely separate system. It does not allow login to your account to order online. It just sits there and does nothing. No errors, just nothing. It also does not allow you to leave the screen to access your rewards during checkout. Leaving the online order screen clears the order and makes you start all over again. This app is a frustrating embarrassment!

This app is terrible. Location services when ordering does not work. No clear way to use rewards. You just know you have them and hope the restaurant can figure it out. Password does not work through to ordering website like location services and password reset does not work. The minimalist look to the app is more detrimental than helpful. I'm sure I missed a few things, but you get the idea.

Slow, bloated design. The dumb menu loading animation takes longer to play thru than just loading the menu. Back button exits to home screen and you have to restart your entire order, including re-searching for your nearest store and doing all the customizations for your order over. Have tried to place an order three times and keep having to start over. This will be the first and last time I use this.

Mostly a low review because of the coupon system. Rewards "works", but in previous iterations you could order via the app and pay in store, where coupon redemption works. In the current app, even the in-app coupons don't successfully redeem when purchasing through the app, and because redemption is timed and you can't order without paying ahead of time, it effectively means you either can't take advantage of discounts when ordering via the app, or you lose out on the discount when you try. Very frustrating, and it kills one of the app's main uses.

I agree with many of the other reviews. The app used to be great, was able to rack up a bunch of reward points and it was very easy to use. After the update I am unable to log in, the facebook link button is completely broken, the fingerprint and email log in dont work, as I spent about 30 min trying to reset my password it just stays at the log in screen without logging me in. Hope they can fix this soon, major problem that makes the app unusable

Lost account & progress after update. How this went through testing is beyond me. Not going to worry about getting it resolved. **6/12/20*" App still sucks. Reward system completely busted. Requires double sign in to the app and each location individually and it won't login. Always error even with updated password. Don't ever bother with this app. Never install it, it won't work.

This app used to be awesome and it did everything you need a rewards app to do. Simple and worked great. Then they changed the entire rewards app and it's garbage. The app itself is so stuttery and performance is awful. I hate using the app. Second, it's too hard to understand their new rewards program. Maybe it's a good program, but I really don't want to use the app because it is so bad. You are better off skipping the rewards program because you'll spend too much time trying to use the app.

Logged in already? Doesn't matter, you'll have to log in to one of your two accounts, again. Selecting a location gets you on to the next screen where you log in and then select a location. Back brings you out of the menu and to the location selection screen. This is a terrible wrapper for an already crummy website. Please just hire a real developer like everyone else uses. By far the most frustrating online order app I've used.

You need separate accounts for the rewards and online ordering, both of which are needed to make an order. I downloaded the app because the site endlessly loaded when I tried to complete the order. The app said the store I was trying to order from was closed and wouldn't let me select it, even though the store hours it displayed showed that it was open. I called the restaurant, and they were in fact open, and only accepting orders from the app or site, neither of which worked! Just the worst.

Worst app ever! If I could put zero stars I would. Hard to navigate (whatever you do, DO NOT hit the back button) cannot redeem rewards in app, made me log in 3 times and that was WITH the fingerprint sensor activated. Spent 30 minutes trying to save time and order in the app only to wind up googling how to use the app to redeem rewards and finding it can't be done. Will be deleting.

This rewards program is the most confusing and frustrating out of any I have ever used. I stopped going for quite awhile and just started again. Finally was able to get password reset on web and app and I can finally log into the app. To get it to connect to Facebook has to be done on the web. You must use the rewards they give you in person at the store and can not do it in the app. The rewards points are different and I haven't used them yet. Food is good but the app and rewards program should be redone by someone that actually knows how to make an app.

Just installed app after eating at Smashburger. Set-up was a little confusing. Finished fine. My receipt wasn't clear so it didn't scan from my phone, however I was able to enter the barcode numbers and it posted. I also connected with Facebook and got extra points. Plus I also have a free entree and side to redeem. Overall great. Will come back and give 5* once I've tried using app in the restaurant.

*BROKEN FEATURES* The apps mobile ordering feature is BROKEN. At checkout, i am sent into a perpectual cycle of the app asking me to login when i am already logged in. I have chosen other restaurants many times due to this inconvenience. I have tried signing out and back in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

World's most frustrating app! I have had issues with every iteration of this app; freezing, not being able to sign in, not having any connection to their loyalty program making it worthless, and most recently it no longer finds ANY restaurants to order from, even if I am standing right in front of one. Broken. Cant checkout. First you get an endless spinner when you try to checkout. If you swap apps, it sometimes fixes itself. It then refuses to take my credit card saying it already has my credit card number. What?!? Talk about a stupid error. What is the point of that error. If you have the numbers just process the transaction. Seriously, is there no quality assurance? I had this problem months ago too, so obviously no one at smashburger cares. Time for Chipotle...

This app fails to do the most basic function of what it was designed to do. I've tried on multiple occasions to order with this app and 90% of the time it fails and tells me to call the store. I would love to call the store to order except they're always too busy to answer the phone. I noticed the app was updated recently but it still hasn't fixed any of the underlying issues. Fix your net code...

The app freezes after the SmashBurger animation. And that's if it doesn't crash. The website SmashClub link won't register my captcha when I finish it. No way to order anything except to go into restaurant, which is not a problem, except they market the ability to order online. Complete waste of time, I want my money back for signing up for SmashPasss Edit: app works now, upping to 4 stars as I still lost my initial deals/coupons by the time it did start working

This app is garbage which probably means the food is garbage as well..can't make an account because I'm canadian doesn't recognize canadian address on the find a restaurant page.. if you can't get the app right I have little hope for your food which is why I won't be eating it

Needs improvement. You can't redeem rewards though online ordering via the app. It also appears that points are not accumulated when you order through the app. App complains about location services being off, yet they are on. I suspect if ordering at the store and scanning the barcode works. The app seems pointless or the rewards program is flawed.
