I started using smile app since 2019 and it has been working well. But since this month, i have been noticing very bad network issues in connectivity. Now, since yesterday, i can't make a single call. It has been saying number busy. All my contacts are saying the same thing. If this is a bug, please try and look into it because it is so annoying. I have uninstalled the app and installed again a and still saying number busy. Very bad experience.

It is difficult to make calls on the app. Most times, the app closes at first click. Subscription is another issue. The only option that works for me is the QR payment option. However, the barcode usually does not work when I scan it on my access bank application. There are too many issues with the application. Calls do not go smoothly because it is difficult to hear your caller, and much more frustrating because your callers cannot hear you most times.

This is a good initiative from Smile because it helps you reach your folks in Nigeria when you are abroad at a good rate too. However, it's always saying Account not registered. You have to wait for so long before it registers again for you to be able to make/receive calls. The App also just crashes in it's own. You can't do anything like View messages or call log till it comes back up. Other than these tw issues. The calls are usually clear and a far more cheaper option than roaming your line.

I would have described the app as a cheat if I had not had good days using the app. I started using this app since around March 2019, but since April 2020, it is impossible to make calls on this app. When I call, the receiver only hears banging noises. But when they call back, i can hear them. I have been subscribing "voice only" package but never able to use the call time subscribed for. Is it a bug? Can it be fixed. Otherwise I may have to look for alternative to the app.

I think this app is a good concept to capturing a huge market in communication industry. However, the initiator should do much work on it. There is so much problem with it, crashing. Outbound calls could not be heard. It comes with a humming sounds, even you hear the receiver the receiver doesn't hear you. Inbound calls has no problem. I think the company should do something else they will be losing such a wonderful market.

This is a very frustrating App and I would have given zero star if available. Call quality is judged poor by recipient. In addition, calls would not connect even if you restart the app or your device; it displays "call ended" indefinitely. The other issue is the "call ended" error each time you make a call or a call is picked. this goes on for hours without respite. This needs to be looked into otherwise, I see successfully completed calls as mere luck.

Smile voice has been relatively good until this march 2021 when it became bad and frustrating to use. For some weeks now it has remained unregistered (registration failed) and its appears the providers are helpless. I have contacted them many times and they kept saying they are upgrading the system. This so called upgrade is taking 1 whole month and counting. Can someone suggest an alternative app please.

Unfortunately, I can only describe this app as unusable at the moment. Calls disconnect after every 15 to 20 seconds meaning I have to redial countless times for a simple 5 minutes call inbetween which I have to restart the app at least twice because of one error message or the other. Only few things in life can be more frustrating. It also drains battery like crazy if allowed to run in the background. Kindly fix it.

For some months now, this App is not showing incoming calls on my Android phone.. Incoming calls will ring out but you can't see the calls, and so you can't pick it up. I restarted phone several times but this doesn't help. My wife has the same experience. I have called the customer service but it appears they are helpless. This is a serious minus and I have reduced my usage of Smile.

The quality of call has drastically reduced. Outbound calls could not be heard by receivers. The app used to work quite well until recent. I have an excellent 50Mbs internet subscription via fibre optics, and so that rule-out any claim of internet issues. Also, ringing of inbound calls can be heard but not display and also cannot be answered. The app with its associated backend services need serious revamp to say the least. I will be changing my rating once things improved.

Initially, I loved the app. Then, it started giving the registration failed message. I tried to bypass it severally but no way. I even re-installed it but getting an activation code became a problem (several attempts). Tried to contact Customer Service (chat with us option), but guess what, action couldn't be executed. I just read the reviews and realised many people have had similar issues but guess what? Smile doesn't respond to reviews! Right now, I want to retract the 1 star I just gave

When I first downloaded this app, it was great. When I chang phone and reinstall it, it became very frustrating, as I cant hear or be heard on the other side when i receive or make call unless i have to exit and switch on the app before call will be clear. Then after 30 mins it goes back to same problem. Every call i will make will need exit and switch back on for every call. Its frustrating, kindly advice.

Unlimited issues with this app. Constantly keep changing my caller id, sometimes i couldn't place calls, app keeps registering every time, keeps running in background and draining my battery, very bad call quality and more! What triggered this review is that i can call and the other person will answer but i could hear them and they couldn't hear me too. I tried aeroplane mode, restarting my device but all in vain. Forbidden errors, temporarily out of service blah blah blah!! Download at your own risk but i wont recommend this app to anyone!!

This is completely rubbish, it is totally nothing to write home about and a waste of money. People can not hear me when I call, when they manage to hear me they say my voice sounds like a robot. If an average data bundle plan can not play this app then I wonder those that it is meant for. This is rubbish useless and highly frustrating. Better pull it down and carry out proper fixing before launching to the public. No single value for money. Rubbish! Rubbish! Rubbish!

I was told that the issue had been fixed but it's not fixed. I was given a link to download the app again. After that I still call and they cannot hear me but I do hear them. It seems that no one is actually taking this issue seriously. Even when I update the app or not, the same issue persists. My wifi is strong but this app has actually sucked more money without delivering efficient service.

This app has been crashing when I need to make an urgent call. Updated it same thing. So annoying... My friends app isn't working, he can't hear others when he calls and the agents couldn't resolve that even after several attempt. They finally gave up. He is contemplating leaving the network but has a lot of money in the sim.

This is the worse App. Not working for several weeks now. The App is repeatedly crashed. Failed to open even after uninstalled and reinstalled again. No option to contact the customer service. All my airtime is stocked and the 30 days of usage is fast approaching. This is a complete waste of money.

Avoid this network as much as you can. It is the most unfortunate thing I tried in 2020,🤣 All those reviews about the receiver not hearing you on the other side is true. To complicate the matter, they have a policy of wiping off unused airtime after every month. I recharge 3k, unable to use because nobody hears me, after the month they wipe off the credit. If you think it's a lie, contact their customer service. Don't try the app, sometimes, I go for days with registration failed.

Very annoying app. Always noisy, you can hardly make calls and it's clear on the other end. Most times the person you are calling wouldn't hear you. Checking your account balance is another issue. This app need an instant upgrade. I regret using it honestly.........

This smile network use to be good but since last week it has become terrible bad. You can't initiate call after recharge and the WhatsApp customers service are very bad...! I have chatted the over a week and each the time, their response will be" we are working on it" yet no result! I wish you guys could do better and result the network issue...! Thanks

I have been using this app since 2016 though it has more bad experience than good. But recently I will recharge and still can't make call, it keep telling me u do not have credit to make call even when I have over 200 minutes. After uninstalling it the new one is not even registering at all.

I'm not recommended anyone for using smile, it is headache!! can you imagine you contact with their Customers Service Representative to support and fix your matter, no one support you Via Calling, Mailing, and what's up no One supporting you!! I have recharge recently and can make calls always said you don't have enough credit to make this call while you have more 16Gb For making call. don't try it any more always have bad Network and won't fix their issues I have bad experience For 3 years ago.

The very poor experience I am having with this app is unexplainable. When I call, the receiver can't hear me. They hear noise. Sometimes I hear the one on the other end, other times I hear a loud sound. I just keep wasting my hard-earned money. The worst is their customer service agents I chatted with feigned ignorance and kept talking about network.

A lot of work needs to be done on the new app. In fact , I suggests you reverts back to the old app because the old app operates on little internet coverage . This new one is just a waste. Could you imagine, had been waiting through out today just for my app to boot and come up with the account registered signal but all was a waste as nothing came up. Please reverts to the old app. Even when you managed to call, the call stops intermittently.

I have lodged several complaints about this. People can't hear me when I call, while I can hear them. All they hear is static. It's basically one way. I have reinstalled several times as per their customer service recommendation but there is no improvement. It seems painful that after repeated complaints I don't get value for money while using this app. I was forced to buy Rebtel when nothing was done to address the challenges I experience when using this app. Please fix the issues I raised.

Disappointed when I make calls. The receiver can't hear me while I can. However, whenever I receive calls, both myself and the caller could hear each other clearly. Pls smile should fix this recurring issue.
