What the hell, just another cheaply set up app, im sure these sort of apps are set up just to get info from people's devices.
As all the other comments say, the app crashes, loads partial images, and has limited resources.
Very disappointed that the app is so poor.locks up, crashes ....etc..
Crashes when trying to open it.

I actually thought that this was the app for the TV channel smithsonia but it clearly isn't
If I have this channel in my cable bill ... Why do have to pay to stream?

Tried to use app in Natural History Museum. Couldn't connect to network and stated that it required updates that could not be downloaded before it would work.
After downloading says it needs to update current exhibits. The update doesn't work and you can't use the app without the update. Uninstalled.
It is a good app over all except for a glich when im scrolling it clicks on the thing i put my finger on to scroll by but i didnt click it. If they fix it, i will make my review 5 stars
Can't upload updates after downloading app. Can't use app without the updates. Too bad was in DC this week.
The extraordinary graphical content in the Smithsonian app demands a larger screen. Failure to provide tablet support is unforgivable.
The app requires a download every time you open it. I just want basic info like hours the museum's are open. Dismissing the exhibit info should be an option within the app. Uninstalled, the website is quicker.
The app says it needs to update with current events, then downloads the update and says it needs to update with current events again.
Just downloaded the app. And it wants to update. Updated twice and it still doesn't work
I had a bad time with a Smithsonian app last year, but this time it worked. We got an overview of museums and current exhibits, and the AR feature worked (at least on the Mall). It helped the kids be part of our tour planning process. For some reason this app doesn't work in landscape mode. Android 5.0 phone.
The update to this app fails. Over and over. Can't use it at all
Fun! Whenever an app doesn't work the way I expect, I uninstall & reinstall it, like with this last update. It works just expected, so if you're having issues simply reinstall it, boom.
