This is a Stock KitKat messaging app with Hangouts style sliding UI and a bunch of extra features. It is a new and improved version of my Sliding MMS app on the play store, rebuilt from the ground up to be faster and better.

A recent update seems to have broken mms. Notification appears but message does not. Also, dedicated viewer often is blank. Moto x 2013. Otherwise love the simple but enhanced design, custom colors, round avatars, pop up, etc. Hard to find a replacement... Will try again after next update.
Really love this app, can change the background colour. Also it provides a full time stamp. But cant view mms pict
MMS seems to be broken, though. App crashes every time I try to open an MMS. EDIT: I'd love to keep using it, but the MMS issue is a big deal breaker. Uninstalled. Once it's fixed, I'll resume using it.
Really??? No ability to change and it's so tiny. I bought the app and SERIOUSLY wish I had not. You see, it's a basic option and those that don't include our don't care! Does smitten care... If they do they will get an update in yesterday please!
You should be able to change the font size. The conversation list gets a little crowded and it gets hard to read the small letters.
BUYER BEWARE!! they will take your money, and you will recieve no support when you have issues . "keep getting a message not sent prompt. .over, and over. .it is driving me crazy. .please supply a solution."

Mms crashes the app every time.
Very similar to Google's Hangouts, but more customizable. Well worth the money!

How did I miss this, great improvement from the original. Nice work, bought instantly without even testing.
A good sms app. However, when the "original timestamps" is selected, the sent date is always shown as "Jan 1, 1970" in all the messages sent by my friends. Please fix it. Hope to have conversations count and settings backup & restore features in future update.
I can't use the app as my daily driver, I've noticed how the app abnormly drains the battery in the foreground. I've used other text messaging apps and they do not drain in the foreground like this app. I really want to use the app since I paid for it.

The battery drain is unreal.

My only gripe is that there's a small bug where sometimes an empty message thread suddenly appears. This usually happens when you open their contact card, whether in the contacts app or inside another app.
Is there an option to change font size?? That would earn 5 stars from me. *** EDIT***.. Love this app but my visually impaired eyesight cannot deal with the tiny font. Am going to have to find a different SMS program that will allow for a much larger font
Similar to Textra SMS but has some great advantages like custom vibration patterns. If you want a simple SMS app without any goofy themes or gimmicks, and a great interface, buy this.

Loved Smitten but the recent string of updates have it crashing regularly. Trying to attach a picture shows a big green box. I think it is time to move on....
Would love option to archive msgs.
Used to use this app before I upgraded to a moto x with lollipop that broke compatibility. Now that the dev has finally come back, it's my daily driver again. Very sleek interface and good functionality. Could use a bit of material design, but as of right now it still looks good.
Still can't receive mms from iPhones.. Note 4 vzw..
This is the best sms I've tried. Beats those on Google play, beta, and others. Recently updated by a quality developer. I'd recommend this to anyone.
I get a "unfortunately messaging has stopped" error when I send mms. But the mms does send. Only happens if I leave app before mms finishes sending. So shrug. I'd sure like to change the notification icon to something less silly. Hide message content in notification is awesome, thank you. EDIT: I get close errors randomly through the day whether in all or not whether sending/receiving or not. OnePlus One unrooted stock
