Smoking Buddy
Smoking Buddy helps users find the LOWEST LOCAL PRICE for their preferred brand of CIGARETTES. Search by flavor, brand and distance. Smoking Buddy displays the distance, address, contact info, and price from the closest to the furthest store based on your GPS location. Each price can be updated instantly to provide the most accurate cigarette pricing available. Driving directions to each location powered by Google Maps as well as your devices navigation feature. Special offers such as buy one get one can be found under the Specials tab.

Helpful Tips
To find the lowest price for your favorite cigarettes set your brand under the preferences section and set your distance to the maximum number of miles you wish to search within.
Then press the "Find Cheapest Prices" button at the top.
Once you have the results displayed don't forget you can scroll down for more results. At this point you can select a location for more options such as, "update prices", "map" and "call".
Some Android devices GPS feature doesn't function as well as others. If the app is having trouble determining your GPS location, try killing the app and turning off GPS and then turn GPS back on and re-launch the app. If the problem persists try power cycling your device.
We are counting on the users to update your brands prices. If you see $0.00, it means that no one has yet updated the price for your brand at that location.
When entering a new price, DO NOT include tax. Price before tax only. Everyone is encouraged to update prices and locations but please do not intentionally put incorrect information or you will be banned from using the app.
Please keep in mind Smoking Buddy is very new and still updating our databases with locations and pricing, please assist us in collecting information before leaving a negative review on the Play Store.
If you wish to add a location that sells cigarettes, you must create an account, sign in, and press the "Add Location" button you may then search for you brand, find it at that location and change the price!
If you do not see any results in your search radius please email us with your current zip code and we will update prices and stores in your area as soon as possible.

Not giving any stars I downloaded the app and reinstall it tells me that I have to new of a version so that means your data for your app is out of date and need to be brought up to date with the standards of t with the new versions of phones... Might wanna reach out to ur programmer that built this app for you..
I read the reviews before downloading. I thought people were being extreme, because like gas buddy, it appeared it depended on users to update prices as well. I thought sure I don't mind entering prices to help make it better. But immediately when opening it says check for updates as it was built for an older version of android. There are no updates! And there was not one price, I'm in orlando! Clearly the developer HAS abandoned their own app so no thanks I won't put in any of MY time into it.
A great idea however it would seem the servers are no longer functioning. Lack of support must have caused the app dev to shut down server just wish they took down the app.
Terrible app I downloaded it trying see if I can get a pack for $7 around my area and dumb app kept telling me that it can't connect to my network server but all other apps I have connect perfectly. If I could I wouldn't even give this app a star
!!!!! ATTENTION !!!!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME Doesn't work from the second you download it. Displays a dumb error message and doesn't load or get any further.
2 stars for a great idea. I got absolutely 0 results after downloading this app. Never got an email so never got to try it out. Bummer cause I was extremely happy to find this. 120. every 10 days is a bit much for my pocket. Oh well...maybe later.
Great idea. However none of the prices showed up except for one store. Would be better if it also had carton prices.
Sadly, nothing shows up for my area. Once southern New Mexico is included in the search, will happily change rating

Same as all the other reviews. Absolutely no prices show up. What a waste. Will be deinstalling.
Keeps saying network error. Would of been great app for us smokers. Then I wonder if it was made to shut down by all the non smokers saying it encourages smoking? 🙄
I never got my conformational email when i signed up and it doesnt even show the prices dont waste your time on this app
Doesn't work. It actually told me it doesn't work as soon as I installed it. That was nice but why is this app still available to download?
Terrible. Wont even allow me to log in servers just keeps searching telling me to try again later.
We never got the validation email & app wouldn't let us re-register.

No prices for any of the 12 types i searched. Search radius was maxed out.
I wasn't even able to load the app due to a software error. Upon pressing on the app button, a message stated that due to the app being optimized for an earlier OS, the app might not function properly. This was exactly the case.
