Smooth Calendar

Where are the backup files saved? Most apps that have backup settings, let you choose where you save it and then you can retrieve it later. this one just says that it's saved, but who knows where it's actually at? 🤔 although it has had disappearing issues since the beginning of its intro to the android market, it still has really good features/options👍.

Do NOT buy premium. I paid for the premium version JUST for the ability to import & export my settings. It will export but can't import them back. Developer does NOT respond for help. I love the simple widget features. I hate that when I restarted in safe mode for another problem, it erased all my settings, and it won't even highlight the saved exported file to import. When I attempted to re-create my old settings MANY times, it would not save them, but weirdly started working a day later.

This is my first review. I really like this app. It has made life a little easier. Once you work with it for a bit you can really customize it. For example, I have things that are coming up the next day in yellow font which turn green the day of. It doesn't need a lot of permissions and it does what it says it does. Function over fashion. If your expecting fireworks and blinking lights when you touch the screen you'll be sad but if you want an app that works great, consistently, youll be glad.

Great and feature rich app. I love having a scrollable calendar on my home screen. Bought premium version with import/export to make it easier to setup on subsequent phones. Documentation doesn't mention that you need to also use a special file explorer like ES Explorer or Cabinet to make the "import settings" feature work. This is silly and kind of dumb but it worked and then I deleted the file explorer app cuz I didn't need it any more.

It's attractive and has a streamlined appearance. I've been using this calendar for years. However, lately, it's been misbehaving. It no longer refresh, nor display the day of the week when entering an event, which has caused me to miss appointments. What's going on Smooth Calendar? HELP😏

This was a great convenient app before it started acting up! Scrollable widget is the only part that works right on the app now. I tap on the icon or the scrollable widget to open calendar and it does nothing, so right now the app is really useless. WILL YOU PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!! I've configured over and over, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've restarted my phone BUT Still doesn't change the process of app working properly!! Will change my rating to 5 stars when fixed. Thank you so much!

I used to love this widget. For some reason it stopped working and syncing with my desktop calendar. I've tried everything and can't get it to sync with outlook. As a matter of fact I can't even open the first tab for which calendars to sync with. Whatever recent updates have been made have broken the app.

Recently started misbehaving. I can't access my calendar through the widget (both ways) and the refresh button doesn't work either D: I love(d) this app and gave it 5 stars before, I've used it for multiple years/phones. Please fix, I can't go without this app!! . 10 months later... still no fix. Using it with my own work around but a lot less. Please revive this app, I haven't found anything quite like it.

It's the best widget I've found so far. Simple, clean, and actually matches the other widgets I use. Two things, though... In settings, when ACRA is ticked, the tooltip says the "debuging" tool is disabled. When it's unticked, the tooltip says it's enabled. And it would be nice to know what *kind* of extra settings are unlocked with premium. I mean, sure, it's not expensive as such, but I still like to know what I'm buying before I buy it.

Since the last few updates, the app stopped updating the date on the widget, causing it to be stuck on the last date until I tap the widget and hit refresh, then it would update to the current date with all the info from my calendar. I recently discovered that after the last android update, "power saving mode" is on. Once I turned it off, all is good. Settings >Battery & device care >Battery: Turn off "power saving mode". It does prolong battery life but seems to put the app to sleep.

This has gotten worse. Sad but maybe I'll try another widget... i've used this app through 3 phones now. its great. lately i've been having trouble though with it not updating the list on my home screen. i have to go to config and turn off and on the,option to remove the appt on ending. then the home screen list updates. so it works with remove on end off or on but i have to manually reset it for the update. its a little inconvenient. This is happening again now on a new phone.

I just reset my phone and when I set up smooth calendar again I lost a bunch of configuration options. Dumb old me, I thought buying the premium version would open that up again. Well, it didn't and I just paid for something that I didn't need. I am very unhappy with the loss of personalization now. Any chance it will be coming back?? Edit: I removed it the widget and restarted my. I readded the widget and all the customization came back BUT once I closed configuration, they disappeared again.

I recently discovered the widget app no longer displays "all day" events. The event is actually displayed (i.e. birthday) up to the event date and disappears on the event date. My Google calendar shows selected events as "all day" but is no longer mirrored onto the smooth calendar. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no success. All other events that include a period of time show without issue.

I used to love this small widget. But a few months ago the date stopped updating and the tasks would not fall off unless I hit refresh every day. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it worked again for about a month. Now it's back to not working. Guess I will be looking for something else that actually works. With all the recent complaints I have seen from other reviewers, I wish they would fix this issue.

This is one of those apps that is either 5 stars or 1. If it works, it's a great app. If not, you're missing events, which means you have to look elsewhere. This has been one of my solid, 5-star apps for years, but lately it hasn't synched with my calendar. I've nearly missed events and meetings. That can't happen. If this app was to get updated, I'd be back in a second. Can anyone recommend a working alternative?

Until now I've been using this app for years with no issues, but now when I look at the monthly view it doesn't show my events for each day.🤔 It used to be so easy to look back for my last haircut or Dr visit but now I have to open each day to see what events happened on that day.😔 How can I get that other version back?? Pls help!!

I bought Premium version and I loved this app UNTIL a few weeks ago when it stopped updating automatically. I now have to hit Refresh every morning to get the right date to display. Other reviewers are stating same issue. Are you planning to address it? Please just let us know. Update to review: Sadly, I couldnt wait any longer for a fix, or at least encouraging news of intent to fix. Found a new cal widget app, and uninstalling Smooth Calendar. Goodbye, old friend. We had a good run. RIP

"One Serious Problem"... When you long press the widget for a larger size it takes up far more space than you want, and when that happens any APP icon that's right beside the widget will be moved completely out of the way and the only thing that you can do is stare at it in disbelief ... I'm just hoping this problem can be fixed... PEACE Y'ALL✌️

Love the app. However, there does seem to be a minor bug. If I edit a calendar item from today to tomorrow when set for 1 day scan, the item disappears from the widget. Other items set for tomorrow continue to display. Other than that, it works great.

All Day Events: same as others. Used this app for years on multiple devices, multiple Android versions, but now it seems broken, and I think it's been out of development for years, so I'm stuck looking for a replacement. Things like birthdays and anniversaries disappear when they become "today."

As of this week, the widget has stopped showing multiple day events — specifically, I have an event that starts on 15th of every month and runs thru 20th of every month - I can't get it to show beyond the 15th. This is normally a great widget which has no rival for size and function; however, it's now broken. Help!

Overall it has great potential as there is the ability to customize almost all of the settings. Currently the app is not automatically refreshing the data. Just update to Android 9 and this seems to be a problem with other apps too.

Great app but don't bother with the paid version. I bought the paid version to be able to export and import settings but that feature doesn't work. Developer doesn't respond to email. Probably would have rated it five stars if I hadn't wasted money on the paid version.

I wish I could give this zero stars. I installed Smooth Calendar in my Samsung Galaxy S10. The sample icon shows "Jan 8." Today's real date is Jan 22. After installing the app, the icon immediately appeared on my home screen as Jan 8. It did not show the actual current date. I rebooted my phone thinking that would start the app working. Nope, no change. It is just a static picture. I might as well have installed a piece of cardboard. Complete failure.

Does exactly what is claims, allows just enough flexibility to make it look the way I want, and doesn't get distracted trying to do too many things at once. The free version is solid but I am happy to support the developer by purchasing the premium version!

Used to be a great app, but the last week or so it has broken. It shows the upcoming all day events in the widget, but now it removes them from view on the actual day of the event. Defeats the purpose of reminding you of these important events.

I have recently changed my device to Samsung S21. What I have noticed that Smooth calendar wigith date is not refreshing each day. Manual refreshing is uncalled for. Appreciate your support. Thanks you.

It's ok if you want the date on your home page(s) using a widget, and it links to you Calender, which is what I wanted. BUT!! you can't use the app it's self, and you can't put a widget in the app bar(so its there like a normal calendar, that scrolls to each homepage, if you have more then 1) I wanted this because my current calendar doesn't show the actual date(May 20th)on the icon, it's always Sep 12th(stupid) Soooo this is not fixing my problem and I uninstalled it 😒 Closest I found tho.
