Smooth Parking
Just enter how long you need to park for and it will show you where you can legally park on a street. Smooth Parking has the most accurate on-street parking database, and it is the only app that takes into account street parking holidays. The app will even show you which street spots are metered (blue lines) and which street spots are about to become legal (yellow lines). If you see a yellow line you have a very good chance of finding an open spot on a street because parking is not yet legal there. The map can rotate in the direction your car is headed, so you can easily see the parking restrictions and which side of the street they apply to.
Smooth Parking is the only app that can save your spot on the street with one click and automatically find the parking restrictions. It will even notify you when the legal parking time is up.
SUBSCRIPTIONIn order to see street parking information you will need to be subscribed. Your first month will automatically be free, and you will not be charged if you cancel before the end of your first month. Your subscription will remain free if you contribute to the SmoothParking community by reporting 10 open spots a month. To report open spots just click on a line on the parking map and then click on the info window and then you will see the option to report open spots. Even if you report that the street is full (0 open spots) you will still get credit for contributing.

I don't need to know where open spots are, but knowing what is a legal spot is a really great feature. Unfortunately, you can't get this unless you pay. HOWEVER, this and other features are free on the iPhone. Unacceptable!
Hey guys just letting you know I sent you an email about connectivity issues over the past several days. The map loads with the parking information normally does not. I have a subscription. This occurs both in a web browser on my laptop as well as on your website so the problem is certainly with you and not me
Nice concept, app is okay but slightly glitchy. Charged the subscription fee even after contributing enough to meet the threshold for the month. This happened for multiple months where I contributed enough.
Perfect app for street parking in the city! Surprised google has not integrated them into google maps yet. All car interfaces need this also!
Horrible App. It charges you money on a monthly basis!!! NOT WORTH IT!!! First of all, you have to pay high rate for parking in NYC & we have your pay for this app too? RIDICULOUS.

Says if I report something the subscription is free but there is no way to report something. Uninstalled. Update: still the same issue in 2020, garbage app; it's catered for apple, they don't care about android.
This App charges freaking money people. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! Without paying you don't get all the features. There are other similar apps that are totally free & you will get a lot more from it compared to this stupid app!! There is always new developers coming in the market with better & free stuff. As it is, the life in USA, everything is only pay, pay till you die... where is the humanity people?

Had this app on iphone, it was never updated to fit iPhoneX but do the job. I can endure ads but not subscription.

Happened to me twice once on my wife's account and one on mine. I submitted required number of spots and yet got charged. Real rip-off... I feel cheated that the app ended my free trail
I'm not willing to give you my credit card information or make a purchase in the app store for a free trial, you should let me play with it first.
Best app for quick and reliable parking info in NYC. No more deciphering cryptic street signs! It's easily saved me hundreds of dollars and made having a car in NYC a feasible option.

Android issues (note 20): settings screen with Bluetooth selector is all black (tried to switch off dark mode etc..). The only login option seems va FB and doesn't work (not supported by FB anymore). Please advise/fix, and I'll change my rating. Other than that, the parking info seems working.
