SMOOTHY - Group Video Chat

Smoothy is a great app for communicating with video calling. It also has some nice features to send video and text messages plus insert text messages into video calls. On the downside, the interface to initiate a call is not so intuitive. It would be better if there were buttons on the main screen to start video chat, send video message etc. But instead you have to select a small option at the top of the screen then select to chat, then select the contact and then make the call. Too clunky.

Just to be clear, I do really love this app. At first, it runs very smoothly, I can call anywhere but after a weeks past, when I open up again it crashes every time I log-in. Reinstalling done too, still the app crashes after I signed in to an account. Please do fix what is the problem of this. I don't know if its my account or the app. Still love this app so far. Keep powering up 😊

Hello, I started using Smoothy the last week of December, it used to be great, the calls weren't interrupted and it was almost always smooth. BUT recently the quality of the calls got worse, the call notification wont get across and it would take several tries before we get a steady connection. And just now the application completely stopped working for my friend and I. He reinstalled it twice but the app wont load any further and my own calls wont get across. Please, fix it. Help us.

Very clear video and audio reception. I am using a fibr optic internet connection with 10Mbps down/upload speed yet the app suddenly crashes frequently. I observed that it is very smooth using the app, so fast reception but it is very sensitive as well. Well, I believe that the developer can still improve the smoothy app.

I've had this app for a while now and I still do because it's actually clear and doesn't bug. It's also the only safest and free app to video call in UAE but when I tried calling today, it kept crashing the app and would go off after it shows "calling.." or "on board".. I really hope it's an app issue and that you could look into it to fix it. I don't want this app to be blocked too...

Please enhance the setting for connecting to somebody in a group video for privacy. Like if there's someone trying to connect with us, we should have to confirm it first and not directly he/she connects with us. We know that there's a lock button to prevent others from connecting but last night, me and my partner were in a video and we fell asleep w/ the button locked. I woke up in the middle of the night then it was already unlocked. Lock button is not enough for a safe privacy setting.

A little problem but here's a positive comment with two negative as you read. This app is really great. I used it once with my Samsung device b4 and it worked perfectly. But when I switched phones to a realme 5 pro it started having this problems I don't even know whether it crashes but it keeps on saying "try again in a few minutes" especially when I try to call my friends. This started from the 1st of April and till today it's still the same issue so please help me out here. And also when i try to add my friends on the search list. nothing will show even tho i typed the correct username to please help me with this issue

So far we've haven't had any issues with the app. I specifically enjoy the memes/short videos ot takes of all of us being silly. My one suggestion would be to have the ability to send files or photos when messaging someone. This is the only reason I didn't give thos app five stars! So far it's a winner.

BAD APP DON'T DOWNLOAD I opened the app, signed up and recommended it to my friends. Once we got onto the call, my friend's voice was gliching and echoing. I tried out the filters and stickers but it didn't go as planned. There are no mini games or activities to do with friends. This is why I gave this app a 2 stars Thank you for reading my review.

I'm having problems when I want to switch the front camera to the rear one during a videocall and in the status screen , the app recognized just the telephoto 8 megapixel which is just used for super zoom (i have a huawei p30 pro) , I've tried to change the camera and I couldn't, but when I am in the chat and I want to record a video for sending, it detects the normal one, is definitely smoothy app because in other apps I can use the rear camera normal.

it's been working phone on ios and android before but all of a sudden. it keeps on crashing on my Note8. i have delete the app and tried to install it again but its been 4 days and the installation process is not complete. ive tried it several times but its just saying "installing" that's it. i think its working fine on the ios though

I love this app. However, there isn't an option to send image attachments from the phones gallery into the text chats. If this were to be added in an update (unless there is a reason it hasn't been) I'd be more than happy to knock my rating up to 5 stars.

it's a wonderful app, the quality of the calls are fine and the features are remarkable. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that when you mute yourself, it mutes the others too. can there be a feature to solve this? thanks.

awesome app... a real smooth app for video calling even on group calling... very easy and convenient to use... it doesnt lag coz its ads free that makes it very easy to use... my wife & i can now easily being in touch together in a very convenient & hassle-free way... a big thanks to the developer... more power & hope you to keep it up...

good app, but really puts a strain on my phone battery, and drains it way too much, way too fast in comparison to other video calling apps and heats up the phone around three minutes into a video call, a fix would really be appreciated. device: Samsung Galaxy S8

It was all good before but now it keeps on lagging. It does not connect on mobile data not unless you use vpn unlike before. If you use wifi it will tell you to wait after a few minutes and keeps on saying that. Hope you'd fix this issues. Thank you.

it's overall very good app and video call quality is very good to but why cant i see the other person i called in full screen its just half screen and half screen is my face video call is too see others not myself 🙄 and i can't even minimize it or use pip mode.... app around for about 1 years or more and still missing few basic options, if i can see the recipient on full screen ill give it a 5 star

This app is Great for talking to your friends and the first time I used it worked perfectly but after that it has been lagging and I wasn't able to see my friends picture while I was in the call. I have tried deleting and downloading it several times but it does not work and doesn't even let me in the app it just says loading

This app is a great! But there's a glitch where the USB type-C can't be detect by the app even the phone can detect the headset itself. Call will be all on loudspeaker mode. Hope an update can fix this. More power!

I am based here in UAE, i was using this app for a long time and it's totally working with great signal. Why all of a sudden it's not working? there is a reconnecting... that appears in the bottom part.

This app is really good because it doesn't require any VPN in some countries like Dubai. But its still kind of confusing because you have to turn on the mic everytime you have a voice call or video call.

It was working perfectly but I think after the new update it just stopped working.... now it not working at all.... earlier when it was working my phone used to get heat up, but I didn't mind it because it was working, now it not, 😭😭 please please fix this issue... or if there is any good application like this to video call please anyone let me know.. please

This is app is terrible. I wasn't able to connect to any of my friends or add them, and verifying my phone number took forever and it didn't even work. It is very hard to use, Even deleting my account took so much time. I do not recommend this app.

Frustrating! I can't use this app... Done downloading it and already make an acct but after it suddenly crashed which causes it to automatically closed like the application just shut down on its own. Very frustrating. Hope you could help me out with this concern.

This app is amazing, I was so happy when i found out about this app. Because this is the only app here in the UAE that I can conveniently use to contact my mum back home, to which we enjoyed talking for hours, so smoothly. Until recently it stopped working, my mum and I were frustrated that we couldn't used it any more. Is there a way that the app can get fixed please?

The best video app i've used in life! The transmission is swift no time intervals to wait for the reciever as the case with other apps. The image is awesome. Smoothy!!!! I got more stars for you 5+

Before it's working very nice and with clear vids. But now i can see them clearly however they can't see me. There's a line. Tried to reinstall but nothings changed. Please help me how to fix this.
