Instructions:
To take a photo/record a video, in the default "Normal" recording mode:
Short press shutter to snap a Photo
Medium press shutter button to start/stop Video
During video recording, single press shutter button for photo stills during video recording.

Directly control Zoom/ ISO/ WB/ EXP with the gimbal zoom button.

Triple press the function button to switch from rear to front facing.

Go to gimbal settings to change the follow speed to "Smooth" from default medium speed follow setting, or change to Sports mode.

I've had this product for over 5yrs. The app wasn't too useful so I thought since it's a new product I would wait for updates. I honestly forgot I had it until I joined Barber College. So, I found it, unpacked it, downloaded the app AGAIN and STILL the app is buggy, unresponsive and very unpredictable. Not to mention there's like 4 or 5 different apps which makes it a pick and choose type scenario. Lastly, I've read almost every comment on all the different app and they all give * or ** stars...

I think the bad reviews are people who cant work it. I had some issues, just use your phones own software the gimble responds to it for the s9+. I like it, occasionally it has a mind of it's own and goes off in another direction but I think something caught its eye. I love the product and price. I just have to work in getting smooth.

One of the worst Stabilizers ever. I have owned 2 separate models from this company and they were both terrible. The app would sink to the phone but never communicate properly to the handheld device. I've used several different phones with it none better than the other communication between device and handheld was terrible. Face follow an object follow never really worked. I could never get it to be completely smooth which weirdly enough is the only reason I bought it. Thank God for DJI

The app consistently does not connect to Bluetooth. Also tried to connect my iPhone 11 and had the same issues. The tracker feature doesn't function on any of my devices. The SMOVE device doesn't fit Galaxy Note 10 and up devices. The remote functions do not work (it does not make sense seeing that while phone is mounted to the gimble you can't use the remote because it's mounted on the gimble). The device costs over $250 dollars and the app cannot support its functionality.

I love the Smove Mobile gimble. However, The app makes my G7 very hot, and uses tons of battery. Tried so many ways to get the timelapse to work, never worked right. I followed all of the instructions both online and in the manual. No success. Since the manual is very vague, there is tons of trial and error. 3 days of using the app and now it does nothing but shakes quickly when connected to Bluetooth of the gimbal.

Software is very buggy. It's obvious from the reviews others are having issues. There has not been a software update to resolve any of the issues brought up by other reviews. Unfortunately until a major software update is issued this product is frustrating to put it mildly. Smove where are you at with resolution to the many software issues?

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. They send me a defective gimbal and their customer service department is not responding. The app itself is buggy. It crashes everytime you use it and it severely drains your battery. I believed that this company was on the cusp of having the best gimbal on the market, but they fell short. If they fix the customer service issue and the buggy app, they may be a contender. As for right now, don't waste your money.

The gimbal and app have horrible coding. It simply does not work. Samsung s10e user here, with latest app version and firmware. I feel like I should of bought from a well established company whose electronics are 99.9% accurate. This gimbal and app only works 30% of the time. Videos also get corrupted some how. I feel scammed by this company as flawless coding is a top priority for me, especially when trying to capture spontaneous moments from the little one.

Believe the one-star reviews! This app is terrible. The product itself is great. Shipping was fast and nice packaging (and carry case). But they ran out of money for someone to develop the app properly. Constant crashes, very buggy and Bluetooth connection is mostly miss. Such a huge disappointment that such a great product is going to be ruined by the lack of proper app development. If this company goes south, it’ll be because of the software – blame the app guy – he blew it.

I wish I would of never bought this and is very confusing on how to use. product commercials and ads are alot better than what the product actually is. I'm sure once you are able to figure it out that it might be easier to use. return policy isn't very good you pay for a product and you are unable to open the product or demo it after purchase and if not satisfied they will not take it back. just be care prior to purchase do your research and read reviews I did not impulse buy

The app keeps closing itself out any time I try to do anything! I didn't pay almost $200 for this not to work this is ridiculous. The video quality in the app is poor to say the best, much less quality than my actual phones camera. If I have my phone connected to it for more than 10 minutes it starts heating up. The user manual hardly helps at all with operation and it won't follow my face properly. If you're reading this I HIGHLY discourage from buying this product.

I have owned a Smove for 2 years and I haven't been able to use it on my latest two Androids. I did contact the customer service and they helped me troubleshoot tje problems. I got two problems rectified with the balance, but not the ability to actually use SMOVE with my phone's without the cords. Emailed customer service on that. Got a reply to purchase other add-ons that were over 50 bucks. I asked to be sent a newer model that would work for my phone. I was refused. I plan to buy a go pro.

The Smove gimbal gets stuck when turned to all the way to the right and I've had the device changed but it still get stuck.. And was told to bring it in for repair.. A decide that was barely 6months old, and then come the app LOL, if it doesn't drain all your phone batteries In 10mins and it become uncomfortably hot.. While connected to your phone.. I wouldn't recommend this device nor the app.

I've been using it for almost six months, because of the ads and YouTube videos reviews.but saying that I got bit disappointed only because of the app. something is not right. my S9+ have been very good of it's own camera. but It would be excellent If something is done to the development of the app itself. cheers.

Wrote a review just before about not being able to adjust ISO manually, have also realised the app renders video horribly jumpy and ghosted!!!! Unusable!! Tested also using the Standard camera app on my Note 9 - works fine. Great product, this app needs to go in the bin and be rebuilt - so much opportunity to lead the market being lost here. Please urgently address this and provide feedback to users on when it is happening

Gimbal works, the app does not. Just received the gimbal four days after paying for priority shipping. One day late. Not a great start. Download the app, with intentions it will work like my DJI does.. NOPE, just has a sad face that says sorry for not connecting, wth? $200 product that I can not use with the available firmware, crazy.. If I get it to connect I will be back.... I'm back.. I got it to connect however not the face follow feature.. I'm going to keep playing around with it.

This app is functional but it drains the battery and over heats the cell phone. I have used 3 different phones and the same thing happens. Please fix this. I would like to use the app but can't do it in it's current version.

i love what I've seen of the gimble so far, but the app itself seems too take video from the wrong selfie camera on my pixel 3 xl. i believe i can work around it with the native camera app, but that does remove a lot of functionality. ideally I'd love to be able to choose which selfie cam to connect to, regular, or wide angle (current default) cam

Just got this device and have played with it a bit. It's very cool! App is working great! My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S9+. No crashing at all so far. It's very functional. I would recommend.
