It says that it clean them up but when you open the texts, they're still there.
Archives and deletes according to settings. Speeds up texting app substantially. Developer website is poor, and makes it look like this is a forgotten project, which is unfortunate, because it adds value and performs well.... on my current version (4.1.2).
No longer works on kitkat. And unless it had option to set as default messenger then it never will. Please amend your description to show this.

Would like to group by person and select messages to delete manually from there.
Absolutely useless. I didn't do anything at all. Said it.deleted 22000 messages and they are all still there.

When set to delete messages older than X number of months it doesn't work.

Doesn't seem to work. It loads messages, let's me select messages to delete, goes through the delete process but then finishes with no message, no errors... and no messages deleted...

When I review to be deleted messages it presents me with locked messages too. I cannot use this app if that's the case.
Awesome. Deleted 3000 msgs from my HTC Desire in 30 mins without touching the locked ones. So impressed I bought full version straight away.
Good. It'd be better if it could automatically delete texts as opposed to having to manually do it.
Very good app and really helpful developer. Works well keeping SMS organised and backed up. Can transfer SMS between Windows and Android on my HD2 too
Doesn't work, at least not on my Android 6.0.1. It says it deleted the messages successfully, but doesn't actually do anything. The same messages are still there. I think KitKat added a O/S protection for this, and the developer has not yet added the workaround. Checkout "SMS Search and Delete" app instead. It has issues with thousands of messages, but at least sometimes works.
Says that there messages were deleted. Did it work? Well, let's check. *opens hangouts and then a thread* nope all my messages are still there. Bad app. But it does not need to be a default text messaging app for it to work, that's a plus.
Solid way to delete msg which is not in inbox but they show on msg box brilliant.....
I bought the pro version add-on to have automatic cleaning ability and even when set it does nothing, everything had to be still done manually and it's not a OS issue. Email to developer went no where and was unhelpful, waste of money avoid.
