SMS from Android 4.4

This app worked in the beginning. But now, for over a year, I cannot send a photo nor can I receive one. I also get error messages if it runs 3-4 sentences in length and if I use an emoji in text. What a pain. I would never recommend this app. Also never received a reply from company when I emailed for help.

Another on a long list of horrible apps where the ads are more important than the service.

I have used this app for years and always considered it a 5. But since the last update in March of 2019, whenever I open the app it sends through a notification that a message hasn't sent or downloaded. This occurs before I've done anything and there are no messages I previously tried to send or have been expecting. It appears to be a software glitch. Irritating, but not affecting the messaging functions.

As seen by several or the sent in reviews, I've also used this app for years basically without issue. This latest update has created more than one problem. The mist important and noticeable two are these. MMS messages does not work. Sending texts with attached pictures does not work. The mms text details stamps when it is supposedly sent, the text says "sending". And stays that way til eventually deleted. After an untold number of updates, all of a sudden you can't figure out what's happening???

After many many years of using this app, suddenly, starting yesterday, there are ads at the bottom of my texting history page. This is very annoying and invasive!! I've tried different ways to remove it unsuccessfully. Please tell me specifically how this can be removed!! If it can be removed successfully, I will be very happy to rate the app again and give it five stars since it has been excellent up to this point!!

This app has worked great for years but now it constantly tells me my "messages didn't go through" when in fact they did. And now ads too. I believe this started after the last update so I suggest you undo the update until you can find the problem. I see others are having the same issues. I am ready to switch soon if this app doesn't return to normal soon.

Well it helped A LOT I wasn't receiving messages for 2 step authentication for my business or bank for some reason and it was during the time I was needing to get this done, this samsung messaging has let me down as well as the other standard M01 sms app too. So I googled 2 step authentication isn't coming through saw this & cpl other apps but i chose this one it worked as soon as I installed i. All the codes from 18th Feb came through too Old school easy 👌 something made this work !! Tysm

A very efficient and " glitz-free" coms' Application that we use on all our phones. It seems secure,rigid ,stable and accurate pursuant to Military Standards.

This is worthless - it destroyed the use of texting on my phone and now it is causing other issues! I was perfectly happy with the previous version - cant do anything with the new version!!! When i go to sendba text by clicking on the icon the screen goes blank for a little bit then sometimes it eventually opens and i can text but many times a message comes up and says something like Messaging is not responding do you want to close it - of course i hit Ok cause otherwise i dont know what?

I swapped from Google messages as no matter what I did I couldn't send sms messages. This app has given exactly what I want

works fine. i understand the ad bar. its not anoying so its cool. only thing i dislike is the Time settings.. its in Military time.. i would prefer the 12 hr time insted. if u added that as a setting to switch between times that would work. some do like military time. i personally dont... otherwise pictures send without an issue and texting is fast enough and without errors. thank u for an old school android app on a newer android. back then 4.4.4 just worked well. and i thank you for this.

This app was great. It did what I wanted for years; An older messaging app style that I prefer to some modern ones. Latest update 7/03/19 has put in caller idand ads. I don't want ads. I want messages. So I'm going to delete it and find an app that without ads.

I can't seem to find a way to have colors for my msgs or from recipients msgs. Also, when you hit the enter key on keyboard it automatically sends the msg which can be dangerous. Should be a way to turn that off and use the traditional send button instead.

I am facing exactly the same issues as mentioned here in the reviews by Tim Lawrence on 4/10/20. Could you please fix it up at the earliest. Except for the copy/ paste option & reading only one number out of the multiple contact numbers, which I presume the App is not able to read, the rest of the functions are working normally. Earlier on there were no issues & the App performed perfectly well. Inspite of uninstalling & re-installing the App, the problem persists. -Ramesh Raijade, INDIA.

Cannot send multimedia messages. seens like alot of people are having the same problem, when is the estimate time to be repaired? also caller id screen keeps popping up after a call, even after i disable it in settings.

Keeps telling me message not sent, even though it is because the recipient answers. Dont know why it just started doing this & it's annoying. i get "message not sent" notification no matter what i do, even when reading incoming texts that answer me back.

I have used this app for years but recently, I can't send or receive messages especially if there are multiple contacts on the message. I just spoke to someone who said they replied to my message but I have not received their response. Very frustrating.

i finally had to uninstall it,it wouldnt let me send pics or attachments, would say sending or cant send. now im using the message classic app. my phone is my job snd ehrn i csnt send attachment or pics it cost me jobs & money. hopefully you will be able to fix the glitches but until yhen i had to go with another app.

Dont use! Started crashing ALOT, updated and it now it has ADs. I dont want to see ads while Im trying to text. Very disappointing, I really like the older style. Im deleting this app.

Dec 2019 update seems to have broken this big time: My profile picture no longer displayed in conversations. Read receipt indication removed. Hyperlinks in texts gone. Pop up showing senders number and sent/received times when selecting a message gone.

Phone rings like there is a message but nothing shows up. Texts say sending and the other phone has gotten the message already. Group mesagging not working. This issue started after the last update the other day.
