SMS GPS Enabler

I have a galaxy nexus purchased directly from google. i was trying this to see if it would work and it does nothing. i was using my google voice number (different from my phone number) to send SMS texts per the instructions, but nothing happened. i will try using someones phone in a bit and will update my review if anything changes for the better. additionally, to be clear, i have tried to use the app with both "GPS satellites" option enabled on my phone, as well as disabled. it seems to do nothing at all.

This app turned ON my WiFI and GPS which had been turned off due to my job. Turned ON my sound from Vibrate Mode so I could find my phone which was hiding under a pile of stuff. Great app! I'll be donating to your app when I get home from work.

Tried on note 3 and nothing happened when messages were sent to it. Even though the success message came back. Fail

Didint work sent 4 texts nothing happened then came here then got a text saying success. For what it done nothing.

Sends the fedback text that the tourning on of the gps is a success. But it does not tourne it on it just sends the message. Neither paid version works. Would give less than a star, but not possible.

Installed on my Galaxy Nexus and it response with 'success'' after sending GPS ON message but it does not turn it on.

Worked when I had my phone rooted with a different ROM, but now that I'm back with the default Samsung JB software not rooted this app says it is enabled via text confirmation, but the gps/wifi is not actually on. 2 stars for working on rooted.. Fix for GS3 JB 4.1.2 and I'll rate higher

I get a success reason text. But neither wifi or gps actually gets turn on or off.

Did nothing other than text itself then send a bogus "successful" text back to the sending phone even though it didn't turn the gps on

This app won't turn on my Gps at all. I've sent like ten messages already and still doesn't work. My phone is a lg optimus elite

Doesn't work on sgs2. Got a msg in reply saying "success" but gps was not enabled. Uninstalling

followed the directions exactly, and my phone gps was NOT enabled. This app does NOT work. do not bother downloading

GPS command does not work on LG Tribute 2. Wifi command does. Worked on Desire HD that i had but does not work on my newer phone.

Installed on Galaxy 1, tried multiple variations and adjustments to settings, nothing. Don't waste your time. Where's My Droid finds it anyway, there is no need for this app.

Doesn't work on Nexus s GPS wont switch on with sms as advertised.

GPS SMS No longer works, even lies and sends a "success" text back to other phone. Good for turning on wifi via SMS

sending "GPS ON" to my galaxt s2 does not work. Please update it.

It doesn't turn on GPS remotely at all. This is rubbish app

When receiving the message GPS ON, the app will respond "success", even though the GPS remains off.

I love this app. I hope it can also send a google map coordinates when texted like 'gps coordinates'

It doesn't turn on the gps. Will reply "success" even if it did not successfully turned on the gps. Will uninstall.

It only activates wifi on my Samsung Galaxy III. Tried activating GPS several time without success. Uninstalled and reinstalled with same results. Not useful at all to me since there is no point in activating only wifi. My phone is locked so the user wouldn't be able to connect to a wireless network without being able to enter the login credentials

It worked only for wifi on se xperia neo v with ICS... It will be great app if it is for GPS too as name suggests..

Great idea, but does not work on my HTC Thunderbolt Android version 2.3.4

If this app does not work, pleased correct it otherwise remove it. SMS gps on never work.
