One of the features that miss most after switching from iPhone was getting texts on my Mac. I have tried about all the apps here to add this functionality to my Galaxy and so far i definitely find this one the best. I particularly like being able to use the native Mac client as opposed to having to install yet another messaging client. I am looking forward to upgrading to the full version. This app is very easy to setup and worked flawlessly from day 1.
Server has stopped working two months after they took my subscription payment for the next year. What a rip off.
Has been using 51% of my battery and I don't even use it. Wish I figured this out sooner.
Started using this a week ago and it's doing exactly what I wanted it to do - let me send/receive texts from my mac. I've tried a few different apps to do this in the past and this is by far the simplest one to use.
Worked great! Now I can text from my macbook pro or my android and everything syncs up fast.
I wanted to be able to read and sent SMS while working on my MacBook and this app is just awesome
Pretty great, just what I needed.
I love it
This works. Works well. I love it, use it and want to buy it! But the company appears immune to contact. I like it so much I want to buy it, but the $49.00 lifetime option is not available in the app (the only place to make the purchase). I have written every address on their website and am still waiting (most of them bounce) and there is nothing on their blog since May. I guess the fact that I want to buy it says enough! I have four Macs and this works on them all, but I can't seem to get the contact sync working on anyone other than the one it was initially installed on (they all use the same contacts from my Google account). So Fortified Labs if you are reading this...all email to you bounces or is lost and I want to purchase from you but am reluctant to do so unless you "come to life".
This was able to do exactly what I wanted by using messages on my mac for texting. Ran into a minor problem with my texting app and support helped solve the issue promptly. I would highly recommend this app!
Really useful app. I use it to sync my phone with the Mac at work. I can concentrate better, now that I keep my phone away without missing out on important messages.
Created an account on the phone but impossible to log in with my Mac. Tried twice to create a different account, now I quit. App not ready yet.
This has been a great app so far. As I solely MacBook user, it makes my life a lot easier
For the longest time I've been searching for an app that would help me do this seamlessly. This is the one. Slightly pricey. But they got to maintain servers somehow
Seamless integration of my messages from my Note 5 onto my Macbook Pro. Messages are sent and received promptly. I could not be more happy with this app. It works flawlessly.
I love mysms app, which does all of the features that I need. It syncs my texts to my computer, so that I can text during meetings and in class. It's also better because it's free.
Set up was a breeze! It walks you through step by step, with very easy directions to understand. So far it works perfectly. No problems.
This is just what I've been looking for. Works perfectly.
Works very well. Unfortunately, it does not allow for sending/receiving attachments. Even when initially syncing with your android messages it does not retrieve the attachments such as photos, etc. When this feature is added I will upgrade my rating but will stay with the free version for testing purposes until the developer adds this feature.
Found an app for 1.99 with unlimited isms no subscription and servers are located in Florida and Texas. Safe, friendly support. Come on guys...even the interface is weak.
So far, the app works ok. The 5 messages-a-day max is a bit weak outside of testing purposes. I'd consider buying a subscription if 1. my texts showed up on the opposite side of the thread (as opposed to saying "sent by you") and if images can in to the app instead of having to click to see them in browser. Also, group texts returned an error. Edit: Ok, after 10 minutes, it stopped receiving incoming texts. I did email the developer with (as yet) no response. I just don't think you should charge for what is, at best, an Alpha product.
Great app, particularly after the last update fixed some bugs. Customer service was great and responded in a timely matter. Definitely a recommended app
This is an awesome concept and it's working well for something so new. I've had one major issue (weirdness with contact syncing and split incoming/outgoing threads) but support replied very quickly and said they'd have a fix ready next week
Does not work on my work mac (maybe security related?) and nexus 6p.
It does exactly what it says it should do and works really good. The only issue I have come across is that it syncs all my messages that are sent from my phone as incoming messages in the Messages application and says "(Sent by you via Android)." It definitely would be a lot better if it properly divided it up.
Everything works great! I have 3 minor issues: incoming messages' time stamp says "tomorrow" as if it is set 12 hours ahead. I wish there was a way for the incoming messages to be separated out back to the green side rather than look like they came from the sender, even if they say "sent by you via Android" Lastly, I wish I could merge my MMS with the SMS messages. But really, those are minor things, and the app is wonderful!
I was able to send messages through the service, but replies were not successfully delivered to iMessage. Useless if responses are only reachable on my phone. On HTC One M9 with Android 5.1.
Great app - I moved from iphone to samsung but still wanted to be able to send messages from my macbook. Thought I lost the ability to do this but was really happy to find this app that works. I paid for the year subscription which wasnt a lot really, given the time it saves me to be able to quickly type a text message using a large keyboard instead of the phone! Very happy.
