SMS to phone/mail - auto redirect

This app is great for automatically forwarding SMS messages. It really does it seamlessly in the background without any problems. However, it would be even better if the developers can include forwarding to WhatsApp. Aso the constant notification of the App is annoying, there are other ways to exclude the app from battery optimization!

app is good after trial i purchased premium version if work fine till 1 week after that suddenly stop working in app saying that you need to buy premium version while in play store supscription i am still subscribe to the premium and its only week

Just a good basic text forwarding app. I've had it for over a month now and it's very reliable

I installed this app. Then I uninstalled it a few minutes later. Now my Messages app is completely screwed up. I might be able to send texts, but I can't tell. "Trouble sending, try again." Not only is the app bad, but it breaks the rest of your phone. Do not install. I'm reporting it to the Android marketplace. (Update: Had to reinstall Messages, which erased all of my SMS history. This app is awful.)

I spent some time looking for an app to forward texts to an email address and had actually picked another product. It did not do the job and the support was poor so looked again and found this one, very happy so far as it not only can forward promptly to an email address I can also set up filters/ forwarders to send the same message to two different phones which is an even better result as it enables two people to keep an eye on one number. I see that if I use other messaging platforms I could even create filters to send to them as well. Not only this there is a lot of customization available to alter the format of the messages being forwarded which while not intuitive once worked out is great. Lastly I have a small issue with one thing and am getting good support from the developer and am happily paying for the app.

When the app works, it is fine. It does the job. It has broken at really bad times that caused a massive setback. It is not reliable if you need consistent use of it. In the past month, it has stopped working three times at the worst time possible. I have checked their website to have the setting work but it has not helped. It just needs to wait to be fixed which is not what I expect of an app like this. Only use if you plan on not using it constantly. Unreliable.

It does a good job. I've found that once for any reason it fails to send the email it shows an error message and never retries (for example if it was internet connection issue). Not sure if the error message needs attendance before the app can continue. Also, once I disable the filter it gets enabled again. For contacts syncing, I have to switch on and off the setting to show the contacts which have been added after installing the app. Looks like a subtle bug.

Good app that works well most of the time. I don't have a problem with the constant notification as it only appears on the phone i am diverting from. I keep this phone on (or it doesn't work) but despite this the notification tends to drop off for no reason and the texts stop diverting? You then have to continually re-set it to make it work again.

Been using this app for months and it worked fine. Now it all of a sudden stopped working. I contacted the developer and was told to update the app. I tried but could not update. I was going to try again, when suddenly the app informed me that the free trial was over and it stopped working unless you pay for it. It was not a "free trial" when i started using it. Uninstalled.

It seems to work intermittently. i basically need every single SMS to be forwarded to one particular email address. It is not doing that consistently. Anything i need to setup differently? I only setup one filter, step 1. Gave a name to the filter 2. Specified the destination email address 3. Nothing in the contact list as I want SMSes from all contacts to be forwarded 4. Nothing here as well. No error message whatsoever. It successfully sends the test message evrytime i edit the filter.

Updated review: 22nd Apr 21. Changing from 5 to 3 stars for one and only one reason. Connectivity issues. Server is too far away from my country (Australia). Everyday I loose about 10-15 "SMS to email" part. Developer is helpful. This app is the best one. But even if I am a paid customer, this app can not do what it says properly every day. It is a hit or miss. In short I can not rely on this app. Seriously, this app is great. Except than connectivity issue, it is outstanding.

Disappointing that recent updates have removed the ability to use the one custom filter for free. It did work reasonably until then, but some notice of upcoming changes would have been nice. Certainly not worth paying the high subscription fee for the app quality. Edit: Nope, no such message. Useful to know, but it'll be the end for me

This app has you waste 2 hours with screens that appear to be useful and once you input the phone number and the email to transfer the text Data too the app becomes completely useless. Everything you thought you could use has now disappeared and it is reduced to only three screens total and those three screens only have two or three different lines which are not pertinent to transferring text messages. Works well to email but not telegram as it needs an a/c ID that is inaccessible. However, then automatically turned itself off, because without warning, it decided that the single simple filter I used was a premium feature. Either you forward EVERY sms or none because after the premium 1 month trial (I had no idea filer was premium), it just stopped without warning, then worse, it LIED by saying it was due to android settings. What good is a forwarder without a filter? Need to make that sought of jiggery pokery real obvious before you waste my time. Uninstalled.

I wanted to send my whole text messaging thread to my email with this. I can't figure it out and it doesn't have what I need to do it. It is a waste. Plus when I checked out the onetime fee, it is ridiculously to high in cost. One service had the onetime fee at 99 cents. The rest I've seen where under $10. This guy wants over $54. It ain't worth it.

This app has done the job, I had read by Andoid experts that couldn't be done. Is was flawless; it works great. I had an emergency and needed all the SMS from one phone to another. I'm very happy I was able to find.

EDIT: My texts are now forwarding & coming in, in real time! The developer responded to my issue promptly. LOVE THIS APP! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!! (Minus 🌟) The only sms I've received are the test texts from the app. I've tried using the app's server and the Gmail AP; I've also tried both an alternate phone number and a Gmail address as the designation. Don't waste your time/security ...

Excellent but I have one issue rule not working with Arabic word .. another issue I put rule to send only messages from automated such banking .. I put the sender name (in English) but still not forwarded .. so I wish to add filters for automated sender name ( now only available the text content ) For all amazing application keep up

doesn't allow to put the number in the filter. only numbers from its contact list but where did it get them from? the contact is in my contacts but no way to get this PoS to see it or type it in. do not let it have access to your Google ac as it simply states this isn't implemented yet check back later. Avoid. reply: It grabbed contacts at the start - from where? The number wasn't in that contact list. Added it to contacts, but there's no way to get it into the app.

Work's great. The filter functional could be more intuitive. Or some examples would be nice. Right now all forwarded messages come into the phone as all coming from one contact. It can be difficult to figure out who the original sender was.

Works as expected but the only problem is that it doesn't give sender's number in the mail subject. It's difficult to read every message to identify who the sender is. I see lots of people asking that feature which is not difficult to implement as you already show number in mail message. If you can add number in mail subject, you are way to go. I am sure lots of people can give you 5 stars if you just add sender in mail subject.

i have not set any filter that means all sms should arrive at my specific email. and also the messages are arriving for the first day, from second day nothing comes, i have no antivirus or any third party program that disables other program, what seems to be the culprit is the adaptive battery feature of android pie, as it slows or stops app that are less likely used, if u can fix this..then it is a five star app.

Thanks for the nice app. A disappointment is the fixed email subject, e.g: "New SMS on SIM 1 (Application «SMS to phone/mail - auto redirect»)". Only the sim card info is in the subject. The app should allow the user to define the subject as a template that lets you include the sender, etc. Having the exact same subject in every forwarded SMS is not useful. Hope this feature request is implemented.

So far worked as expected. Sorry, mistakenly put one star ⭐. You deserve 5 🌟. Just a few improvements should be addressed, such as if data network is not available, an option to hold sending emails until data network available. An option to send abridged email in that case would also be appreciated.

This is very useful application as I have mobile numbers from different countries so the sms I receive on them can be easily read at one place ie my email. Its very easy to setup and works most of the time only sometimes it fails to forward message that can happen when phone is offline or battery optimization kicks in but generally it always forward the messages almost instantly. I don't how safe it is but I have to use it anyway but since its on play store it should be safe....

I would have rated this app 5 star if the text messages were forwarded immediately after arriving in the message app. Sometimes multiple texts are lumped together and arrive hours after being received in the text app. It would also be nice to have the name of who sent the text in the email.
