This app is horrible. I have been trying and am unable to create an account for the past 15 minutes. Despite trying multiple correct combinations, I am still being given the message that the password must be 8 characters long, include upper & lower case, and use numbers and symbols. All of which I am doing. Yet the app does not recognise this. Very poor experience so far. SENGLED, the ball is in your court to change my mind.

Even more Useless than before, it isn't reliable and relies on cloud storage, which can be down for lengths of time... Try to log in and keeps telling me the connection has timed out. What is the use of a security camera if it depend on an unreliable server system at Sengled. Should have fail safe to ensure apps keeps working when any issues otherwise it's useless as a security device. Absolutely a waste of money and this company has no right for existence. This is actually a great camera system despite the negative reviews I've seen. The bulbs themselves are super easy to install and get set-up. I bought two of them for backyard overwatch of my pool and they have been invaluable. Setup time for each one took about 6 minutes per bulb. The process is very similar to when you set up an Alexa, where you have to first connect your phone to the bulbs internal Wi-Fi and then to your own Router. The directions are easy to follow and dare I say it....it was a SNAP! Following set-up you can program the bulbs to automatically turn on and off at scheduled intervals. This is super easy to do and can be done at any time directly from your phone or tablet. This time of year I have to adjust the times often as the daylight keeps getting shorter and shorter, but no worries, it's only two clicks and done. The only annoyance is that you have to set each bulb individually, rather than as a group. This can be helpful though as making it appear someone is at home and walking around turning on the lights if you set them for slightly different times. If you experience a power outage, most times the bulbs will simply reconnect without issue. I did have a problem once where the power in the house flashed without going out completely and it did cause an issue where I had to manually reset the Wi-Fi connection on both bulbs, but this is an extremely rare event. I have owned these bulbs for about 3 years now and only experienced this twice in that time. That's 1,093 days of constant service and only two days of interrupted service which was quickly resolved by resetting both bulbs manually. My only gripe was having to get the ladder out of the garage to reach the bulbs to press the reset button. As far as the app is concerned, I cannot get it to pair with Alexa as this does not seem to be an option....so bummer there. Other than that I'm completely satisfied. I actually went to Home Depot to buy two more recently, but apparently they no longer carry them as I couldn't find them at my local store. It's a shame, because I really like the ease of use and ability to view my cameras from anywhere with no problems. I have a home security system, but the Sengled bulbs provide better picture quality along with the microphone option which allows you to talk to anyone in your yard ...like your pet, or neighbor who is looking after your house, or any would be intruder and let them know you are watching! Used to work great. Now it takes forever to connect to the 4 cameras I have, and once I do, it takes forever to pull up the history, if it even does pull it up... And there are lots of missing hours in the history,, so it's disconnecting and reconnecting all day long.. I have wifi routers right by the windows by the cameras, so they're getting a good signal, and I'm on my computer and internet TV all day long, so it's not my internet cutting out. I guess I'll be canceling my service soon...

camera / floodlight for over 3 months and it is worked out standing really impressed with the clarity. record continuous and also records with motion. app has worked great no issues. I've been 200 miles from home and been able to look at the camera and control the light. Has everything to do with internet and Wi-Fi connection. If you don't have good internet and good Wi-Fi then these type applications will not work. properly

I have had this cam since 2016, no complaints. Its been through hurricanes, tropical storms, summer heat, typical cold fronts,and beyond... occasionally I would have to reboot and that's if there is a power outage. I love the 2 way microphone 🎤 speaker, and the flood light. 😀 recommended 👌 👍

After the 7 day storage trial ran out, I contacted sengled multiple times for help to purchase more storage as 24 hours is not enough and they could not help me. Absolutely hopeless. My app does not give me the option to purchase a plan which is far advertising. I would not have purchased on the first place if I knew this!

i love the sensitivity options on the motion detection. except the medium option picks up everything from shadows to wind. and the low option picks up nothing. the app needs face recognition. it also needs to record longer than 30 seconds. video stops before the motion does

The app was up for first 4 days for me, no problem whatsoever. Signal strength as usual pretty strong 3 bars. Saying updated. Keep loading and updated but no video. Saying "Failed to load camera snapshots due to a connection timeout. Swipe down to load it again". Seems like app problem. Running on latest firmware 2.2.150

Unable to continue setup after connecting to SNAP wifi..... Used to enjoy this product and the app was not bad, however after a recent power loss, I am unable to continue the setup of the snap camera because after it asked me to connect my phone to the snaps Wi-Fi signal and return to the app I am unable to tap the next button to move on as it is grayed out and stays grayed out and will not allow me to move forward after connecting.

This app drops connection constantly. I won't be buying another Sengled product because of it. The camera is very good, but it's useless without a good application to control it.

PLEASE fix the stupid app? I have 6 cameras.. I have to FIGHT the app to try to quickly get to the bottom cameras when I hear someone outside and need tho see that camera. The app has to like.. refresh or reload the cameras, seems like 2 or 3 times while I'm trying to scroll down to the other cameras, I finally get to the camera I want and go to press that one and by the time my finger touches the screen it's reloading again and has jumped back to the top again. Just Load all 6 on one screen!

Good but new firmware 2.3.9 is only an inconvenience . It introduces that cheap sounding voice instructions that cannot be turned off and if my light is turned on the first thing it tells out is +"internet connected" great for covert security . Not. Change it or least make an on off option

This app has completely stopped working! Now I can't even get logged on to change any of my settings or to stop my paid subscription. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still does nothing on the log in screen and responds to nothing. I need this fixed.

Keep disconnecting the camera though light can be controlled. It keeps giving errors saying connection has been interrupted. Likely the required cloud storage service is down or unstabled. If their cloud service is unstable, the system is useless and shuts down. It does not allow you to record locally.

1080 Only works well on very strong wifi, Mostly happy with the App & the Sengled Snap Camera/light, the long delay in receiving notifications when the camera 'see's' movement is mostly way too long, I have other apps/camera brands that are near instant with the notification, not this app/camera though, it can be 5 minutes or even hours afterwards, plus it seems too occasionally send duplicate notifications. Plus if its just software then surely you could make it support Google/Alexa.. Please!!

motion sensing isn't very good. will give me alerts for a person passing several feet outside the house but, totally misses people walking up my steps, standing on my porch, right under the camera. after the last update, there's an annoying/ pretty loud voice that says "wireless connected" every time it turns on

I give 2 stars because it only worked for 2 years. Recently, the app quit working. It won't open at all. Whatever update they did, broke the app. Now, waiting for the next update to hopefully fix the problem. I'm hoping it won't be that long.

I bought this because it stated that it would work with my Alexa but how can I pair it? It's not detecting nor are there instructions. I'll update review once I get this figured out. Update: Still not pairing. I have many alexa devices paired but this one will not. Also motion detection doesn't work at night.

Worked well for about a year. Now don't receive any motion notifications. Pay for cloud service to ensure I receive them but they suddenly just stopped. Reached out to support which was a total waste of time. Will be canceling as soon as I get something else. Really a shame because I have many Sengled products and love them.

Trying to set up app, it wants password of at least 8 characters upper,lower case, number & symbols. I am giving it this with 9 to 11 characters and it refuses to accept passwords. I have tried multiple times. Finally uninstalled the app with a derelict profile.

I purchased smart light bulbs & hub & was told to download this app by customer service since the sengled app wouldn't let me get pass entering my passcode to complete account set up. This app requires a password of 8 characters using numbers capital and lowercase letters. I've been doing this for 2 days now & still can't create an account. Customer service completely stopped helping me once I notified them of the problem!

Motion detect is not set up to trigger the spotlight?? Surely an app update can fix this. I can watch people break into my car but not deter them by the spot light when movement detected. Fail!!

Sengled camera was not a very good buy after all. There are too many things about it that are not operating as expected. The light scheduling time as set is not working, it comes on and goes off on its own time.Thirty seconds to capture images is just not good enough. Sometimes for days it has recorded no images and it always has to be reset even when the internet is up and very strong. As a single living alone; it as done nothing to boost my morale where security is concern, I regret having bought this product. I can't see how it is working so well for just a few customers and majority of customers from reviews read are having such challenges with this product and this company is doing nor saying nothing. Don't they read even some of these reviews? I WONDER!!

The app hasn't been updated for more than a year, surely you guys can work on Google home/ Amazon Echo integration or at least make it compatible with IFTTT. The video quality is great, love everything about it but the app needs some works. At least do it for your customer who has invested on this system. Also I don't see any replies to any review, does that mean you're going to shut this app off soon even though you're still selling this on your website for $119 ?

Trying to renew cloud subscription is like pulling teeth, the support email people give you the run around, 8 emails later still have no idea, pretty sure it's discontinued, sure nice of them to let me know.
