Just doesn't work. This just won't work on my Samsung galaxy s8. I can't add the air Pro lite at all. I can connect to the wifipodz but I cannot add the camera in the app.
Useless. Lots of errors and lockups. Not better than previous version. Dont delete videos from flash media- despite what app tells you videos DO NOT get dowloaded to phone consistently.
Ive always loved the ion cams and how they connected to the app easily, but i recently updated the app and my ion air pro's wifi pods won't connect to the app!! please help
crashes on moto G6 play when you try to add the camera. wasted my money on the WiFi adapter and can't even use it. any 3rd party apps work with this? i love the cameras.
Whatever I do, I cannot connect my camera, even though it says it's connected. I cannot access the data in my camera. It is so annoying and loss of time.
not working with my phone. work with my son-in-law Apple iPhone and is Samsung phone. but not with my Samsung Galaxy smartphone keeps telling me it needs charging though it all ready charged ???? paid a lot of money for the camera but the app is no good at all
so at first with the original Wi-Fi pod that came with the camera no success on connecting to my phone my wife had button an additional Wi-Fi pod not knowing the camera came with one use the new one and am so stoked totally satisfied with this Ion camera
Just terrible. Doesn't connect to my Ion sir pro at all. Old one was much better , my wifi pod is sitting useless.

New app is trash, won't connect to my speed pro wifipodz despite being able to see it. I use the app to align the camera as i use it as a helmet cam and it's pointless unless it is pointed correctly. Revert the app to the old build, where is the 0 star review. Look no further for the definition of epic failure
This new ION camera app is just terrible. It's far worse than the app it's replacing. It literally looks like a 6 year old developed it. You MUST also REMEMBER to go into the WiFi settings on your device to MANUALLY/DIRECTLY connect to the camera or it won't connect in the app, & you won't get the live view, etc. It connects to my old AirPro V 1, but it's laggy & glitchy. Obviously, if I'm directly connected to the cam for the live view, I lose all other WiFi connectivity until I disconnect from the cam again. It works, but it's VERY poor.
Terrible! Worst cam app EVER. Doesn't live stream, crashes, very slow at connecting, crashes, a dull lay out, crashes, bad options, crashes, oh, and did i mention it crashes? Turns your Ion Air Pro into a useless brick. It's like they spent all their resources into the camera and gave the app programming to a toddler!
Though I can connect to the camera with the wifipodz it will not find my files even though I can see them when connected to laptop...whish I could rate a zero.
On Android, do not try to connect through the app first. Go into the network settings and forget the network if you tried through the app. 1st step is to connect directly through your wifi settings and then you open the app to connect. I had no issues after that. I'm only using the app to adjust my view on the helmet evry few weeks or if I bump it during a ride, so quality is not not high on my list of priorities. The app does what i need it to. I'm on a Moto G6 and original Ion Air Pro.
