This app really needs an update! It keeps crashing. I regularly get the 'survey can't be loaded' error message. This morning anew issue appeared. I took a pic of the receipt but it disappears and doesn't upload, hence I cannot proceed with the survey. Tried taking the pic several times,even restarted the app to no avail... Very frustrating.
Great rewards but you can't snap long or double-sided receipts. It would be good if we can see the receipts we've uploaded to see which ones have been rejected (and to avoid duplicates). There's a major problem if it won't let you progress with a receipt. There are 2 ways to resolve this 1) contact SME to receive a code (but this takes time) or 2) uninstall the app then reinstall it (but you can't log in, you have to fill in registration again! This could be a 5* app but now it's only worth 3*.
The best payer, IF you can do the full quota of 25 every month, for £5. Ideal if you regularly buy odd snacks, coffee, or rounds of drinks. Keeps "failing to load" and has to be reinstalled regularly. Also, bit of a pain having to go right through all the pages for each receipt if you've a bunch saved up to do at once. At the end of the month it all gets reset and you have to trust any late uploads will go through (but they usually do). Maybe a facility to see the status would be useful.
One way of improving the app is to allow the user to view the progress of the receipt instead of having to scan a receipt to see if the previous ones are successful without having messages saying complete your survey ,if you go into the app without needing to scan a receipt. Same with cashing out , you can't just go in and out of the app. Other similar apps allow you to do this. Otherwise not a bad app. Cash out is quick.
Constantly crashing with 'failed to load the survey' and no one even bothers to reply to you when you report the problem. The only advice ever given is to 'reinstall', but the app literally crashes ALL THE TIME. The bug forces you to endlessly reinstall the app, you literally have to reinstall each time when you try to submit new receipt. They know about the problem very well, they just don't care. Awful, awful customer service. As a person from IT industry : when you have a bug you FIX IT!
Easy to use, reliable app that accepts a lot of food receipts. Both eating out and shopping for groceries count. Easy to redeem and prizes available too. The only downside is if you realise your receipt is too old or just want to check how many receipts you've snapped for the month you end up getting notifications to complete the survey - their term for entering a receipt. I can't find a way to stop that. I would recommend snap my eats to anyone and wish I had discovered it earlier!
Great app. From time to time it's unable to upload survey which means you have to uninstall the app and reinstall. That's a bit of a faff but I have been receiving rewards no problem. Update. Yet again the survey fails to load and I have to delete and reinstall the app. After doing this and re entering all my details, they decided to lock my account. Currently waiting to here back. No I don't recommend.
Works as described but it gets quite frustrating, having to uninstall and reinstall as the survey fails to load so often. I've had the app for some time now & need to reinstall regularly. Currently it's the most glitchy app on my phone. TECCIES - this needs looking at. Update. I've just downgraded from 2 stars to 1 star. I now need to reinstall so often, it's not really worth the hassle.
Edit- it's really annoying that you have to keep installing it and reinstalling it as surveys failed to load This is a great app. Very easy to use. I've given 4*'s because it would be great if you could take 2 picture's of a receipt for example for a 2 page receipt from online shopping or a very long receipt. It's great to use and I would 100% recommend. x
The app just doesn't make sense, it isn't user friendly. Doesn't clearly state what to do, you don't get the rewards it says for each reciept. Limited way too much to how much you can earn in a month before cashing out and haven't had a single survey or anything extra it says to look out for. Real potential to be a brilliant app if it was re-designed and some time and effort put into it.
Rated this app some time ago as I was having problems with it. Since then I have noticed that lots of peoplearehavingthe same problems, so tha app is obviously not up to the standard it should be. Keeps crashing, reloading requests information that is not really relevant and the rewards don't build up as quickly as they should!!! (1 star because I cannot give it 0)
So far so good. Easy to use. I like the fact you can upload a stored picture as well as snap one. Cons are you can only upload 1 picture, and when it's a long receipt, it's a nightmare, plus you can't see pictures of uploaded receipts. It would be useful to avoid uploading duplications. Quick to get rewards.
Update 07.11.2021 No response to review and I'm seeing a lot of similar complaints, assuming it's been abandoned by the developers 😔 17.07.2021 When it works this is a really good reward app, been using it for years but it's still really unstable. Often needs reinstalling due to bugs, and all previous receipts and credits are lost. It's a shame this has never been fixed despite being a known issue since day one. I have received payouts in the past, so it isn't a scam, it's just frustrating.
Sounds like a really good idea until you actually start using it. I have had one pay out which is fabulous £5 for just uploading receipts. Easy money. Downside the app keeps crashing and saying "survey failed to load" sometimes you can get it back yourself and it works again for a while then it crashes again. Twice i emailed for help and they have helped me however I'm back to survey failed to load. So a year on im still using this app, it can be difficult at time, but I think its brilliant
unfortunately i have to rate it critical. it was working fine, but for some time it was failing all the time. I tried to contact support twice,NO ANSWER I uninstalled it and install once again ( normalny it Fix problem with other apps) but it says doesn't take new people in my area. I have account for many months! nearly 20£ waiting for withdraw! so what the hell!!
I have quite a few of these apps. This takes so long to send a pic cos you have to click SO many times which is a pain when you have quite a few receipts. Secondly i get an error message on a regular basis where I can't take pics. Initially I would clear cache/data/restart etc. After wasting time sending emails and waiting i Iearnt to just uninstall and re-install every time. It is the fastest payout of all these type of apps tho
Hate that you can't upload long receipts, as it doesn't have this option, like receipt hog, shoppix or Huyu does. Also, the app keeps crashing every few weeks and the only way to resolve it is by uninstalling and reinstalling it every time it happens, which is extremely frustrating as similar apps do not have this issue! Sort it out guys!!
Have had this app less than a month and already received my first fivers worth of amazon codes, Its really easy to do , I load my receipts then stick them to the fridge to keep count as the app will only let you see your tally if you start a new entry then come out of it again. It then keeps sending reminders to complete the entry which is a bit annoying hence stuck to the fridge = problem solved. The other thing I found is there doesnt seem to be any terms and conditions on the issue of codes , I would like to save mine and didnt know if they have an expiry date so I submitted an easy request for help and received a very quick reply. The codes have quite a long validity so can be saved. Overall I really like this app its easy money for something that would have gone strait in the bin , if your thinking about it go for it as so far its been worth it : )
Really like this app but it keeps freezing so having to uninstall and then reinstall. And now it's Feb 2021 and still having the same problem. Update 3rd time having uninstall and reinstall this month. Getting ridiculous, time to sort it out. If all was ok then I would give it 10/10 As a great app. Update end of February having to uninstall and reinstall twice in as many days. Now it's June 2021 and twice in this week I've had the issue again.. say no more.. mid June.. and again it's broke
I like the app, it is really easy and quick to use and I also think the rewards are really generous in comparison to other similar apps. Redemption process is quick and easy. Not rated 5 stars simply because of the technical errors, have had to uninstall and reinstall a few times and the app was completely unusable on Android for several days recently.
