Good day I have been using this app for a long time now and love it but I have tried using it in the last two days and have been unsuccessful. I have funds in the bank so I'm not sure what the problem is. It takes me up to the payment part and then gives me a sad red face. Is the app down or having trouble. Little update the app is working again and I managed to purchase what I needed. The bank was having trouble sorry I did not update that I came right. Very happy I'm able to use this app

I got paid by a friend via snapscan I cannot withdraw my funds because the app cannot scan my ID. I mailed the help email only to be told in a nice way it's my problem I cannot receive my funds in my account. I have to continue trying to upload my ID. I read the reviews and they know full well that the scan ID function is third party and it does not work. Shame on you snapscan team.

Takes forever to scan barcodes on my Huawei P Smart. Takes a bunch of attempts. Why can't they just use a qr code like zapper? Never had any issues with zapper

I think is is an excellent idea and i use it all the time at work. Its quick and easy to use and has almost completely eliminated any reason for me to carry a wallet. One thing that bugs me the inability to name/label cards beyond "Personal" or "Business". Often creating confusion on which cards I want to use.

I am so disappointed ๐Ÿ˜ž since I bought airtime and data with the amount of 198, it went missing from my account but I didn't receive any airtime nor data..when I call my back they say they can see it is hanging in there and they are unable to help me to fix it..soo pls help me fix this snap scan,I hope this is not some kind of scam

I was very satisfied with the app until I had to download it a second time. When I am informed that a one time pin has been sent, it does not arrive on the cell. So I am stuck. Send the pin to my email. When leaving the app to check my messages, I have to start over again when coming back to the app. Now the app us useless to me. # After posting this review I was contacted by the Snapscan team informing me the problem is with the bank. I really appreciate your speedy response. 5 stars for that.

Nice app, but can you please add the option to be able to delete old transactions, it's annoying to have a long list of old transactions. Also add the option to be able to share your transaction via various channels, like email, whatsapp, etc. The Masterpass app has all these functions!

Absolutely pathetic! Tried five times to upload my ID and scan my face. Same results everytime, unsuccessful. I won't bother anymore, actually uninstalled this thing. Should've known, anything associated with Standard bank is a mess. Ps: don't bother telling me to send an email. I am done, poor service in terms of app development and design tell me enough of you to avoid future headaches.

Doesn't work anymore... Not sure what's going on but it's just stuck in an endless loop of validating with my bank, and restarting. Exceptionally frustrating. I've tried unintalling and reinstalling, still have the same issue. Have moved over to Zapper with zero issues.

I have been using SnapScan for a while, but when I try to set up SnapScan on my new phone I need to re-verify my email. However when I click on the link emailed to me, I get the message "The device verification email is not valid anymore". This happens everytime. So.... SnapScan not working

Why is there no option to stop a transaction. I've been stuck in a reconnection loop for at least 20 minutes. I updated the app and all but you can't stop it. I cannot undo the transaction or stop the reconnect loop until it decides to say transaction failed. The app wants an Internet connection and I have one (since I'm on here rating the app) but it won't connect.

In spite of all the linked accounts being RIKA'ed the app requires one to further 'verify' one's identity, for some unfathomable reason, in order to use the wallet. Scanning one's id is also not good enough, a selfie then has to be taken. For some or other reason, and in spite of attempting around 50 times, the app refuses to recognise my face. There is no alternative or work-around, and I am therefore unable to utilise the wallet. Customer support is also unhelpful and of no assistance.

Found all the security features positive until got to SnapBeacon and fact that you must switch on bluetooth to find merchants. Also if you search merchants you have to leave the app to go to chrome or google maps and exit the app instead of having the map inside the app like Zapper your competitor. Would be handy to also be able to link loyalty cards from merchants into the app so when purchasing from Dischem for example the card is registered against the purchase.

I would not recommend this to anyone. Really had the worst experience trying to pay with it at two big retailers without success. I also am not able to withdraw my funds cause it keeps not recognizing my face for some reason - tried over 50 times. STAY AWAY FROM SNAPSCAN UPDATE Since receiving feedback written here that someone would be in touch with me to assist in resolving my issue, no one has contacted me from SnapScan and I still have not received any mail from them.

Never received the sms to verify the email address. Tried repeatedly over the last few months and again today. The number is correct. Loaded a competitors app instead. Received assistance from Jessica at Snapscan in a super efficient and friendly manner. Problem resolved on a matter of minutes. Thanks Jessica.

Love it. Only good feature to add would be figuring out a way to scan on your cell phone example I send someone the QR code on WhatsApp they cant scan it because it's on the phone. That would make it 5 starts for me After the response from developers that the functionality has been added I am happy to up it to 5 stars

Really don't understand why the interface is so backwards. What is the point of a Wallet if you are forced to use your bank card? (donations) Why is there no way to pay the same people twice? If you have a recently paid list, then one should be able to click on one of those to pay that person twice.

I keep getting the "connecting to your bank" message for the last 20 minutes. I've closed the app, still opens to that message. I've even restarted my phone and it's still on that page/messaging. Surely it should timeout at some point? I'm not even sure if the payment will go through.

It is a great app ever๐Ÿ˜Šbut what I dont like it is not confidential enough. It only requires security when approving payments. What about being secured and require login details before going through the app???๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค” a person can go through my app and see all my history payments and even make their own payment if they know my pin. Think about it and please add that feature of the app being secured and confidential enough ๐Ÿ™. Thank you๐Ÿ˜Š

Massively convenient, and seamless when it works (99% of the time). Only possible complaint is that it's shaky when signal isn't strong, but that happens very rarely.

Brilliant, easy to use and incredibly secure. The only thing I found frustrating is the bank verification for every single purchase. When you consider security it is certainly not a negative point! Well done.
