People hired through the app are hardly reliable. App is clunky and wastes time with unnecessary animations. Support team doesn't even know if people are late and doesn't communicate when shifts are picked up by backups that are coming later than the scheduled shift. It is a very unorganized temp agency at best.
App is poorly optimized as the other reviews detail, I didnt have any problems personally but It requires you to allow access to your contacts for the reference section. Thats unacceptable. Also, there are very few shifts even available for the whole month and they are all taken.
Worse job app ever, they ask for way to much inform they want to much access to your devices. The policy they have in place is a joke I wouldn't waste my time downloading the app. The shifts are long while the pay is horrible. You'll work your full shift and somehow you won't end up with the pay they promoted for the specific shift. Scam app!!
They have very nice effiecent support team! Edited: I've notice some bad reviews, however working at different venues I have been offered permanent jobs twice. I think people need to remember this app wasn't designed for a overall job fix. It is used as a nice side way to bring $ into your pockets not a 9-5. Also I'm sure with most jobs there unrealibilty in employees or not the best condtions but its new to all parties so if you do youre job you are reliable you get better results!
I really like snapshyft so far. I have several gig apps and this one by far is the best! Mostly due to the customer service and the quick payout! The guys in txt support are kind and efficient. They make you feel like you are doing them a favor for choosing them to work for. Its refreshing! The one complaint I have is actually a big one. NOT ENOUGH JOBS! If by rare chance there is an open shift its usually low paying and a ways away. Or its a good gig but last minute and Im already booked. 🤷♀️
Because the app is new there aren't many opportunities in my area but I do enjoy the venue I have worked. The staff at Snapshyft respond very wa quickly and if you are having any trouble they work quickly to resolve the issue.
Dont waste your time! App does not work. Falsely advised. Tech support is no help at all! Had trouble loading my legal government issued photo ID. Tech support is argumentative to the point of harassment. Never ran into this ridiculous treatment from any other app before. I understand this is a new app, however, before going online with it, you make sure it works and have a kind, helpful tech support. Is not a free app. Contrary to what snapshyft claims! It states so in the terms and conditions. Read them carefully. You have to pay to get placed when you are helping them out by covering shifts! Defeats the purpose! Worst experience ever when you are trying to make extra cash! Definitely not worth the hassle!
At first I really thought highly of this app, but not anymore. They only work with one company in Colorado. And they move shifts around regardless of who accepted it. I had accepted a job for 220 and noticed at last minute my job was switched to a much lower paying job. It's a mess. I would recommend just getting a real job.
No way to delete account and information. Logged in to see what type of jobs are available. ZERO is the correct amount. Should be able to enter zip code and see jobs and decide whether or not to sign up. Should not have to provide any information to just browse and learn about the app. To actually use it, OK, but not to just check it out to see if it's worth the time and effort. Waste of time.
You have to have specific references. I tried to set up my profile and added that I have experience as a banquet server. Because of that, the references section required me to have at least 1 out of the 3 references to be a food service manager. Since my job with banquet service was ages ago, I couldn't recall anyone whom I worked for/with by name or face, no contact info, etc. Chances of anyone at that establishment remembering me all this time are 0%.
I love working with Snapshyft! App is easy to use, any issues with the platform get handled immediately, & notifications are very useful. I use Chime for accepting payments which gives access to funds just after clocking out from the shift.
I couldn't even open the app for 5 seconds before it closed itself. I uninstalled and redownload but had the same issue. This is the app equivalent to blue balls.
great..i really like how the entire app operates. just needs more areas..it says my zip isnt set up yet BUT could I search a diff city? idk the radius of your op area? but ya i think its awesome interface compared to a lot ive seen or similar idea ...ty.
before I got there wasn't sure what to expect and when I got there my job description was bounced around a bit but I just decided to just go with it and help where it was needed most because they were short-staffed, the venue was beautiful and the staff was an amazing bunch of people that I would absolutely love to work with again
Just started using the app, haven't done anything to know how well the app is but it keeps asking me to rate after I do literally anything so maybe if I rate it it will quit asking me every 5 seconds. I'M NOT SURE YET SNAPSHYFT, maybe let me get some experience so I can give an accurate rating.
Love this app. In all honesty I would have list my house if it weren't for snapshyft. The work environments are usually if not always great and the pay is always fair and promptly paid. 5 stars
this app is amazing and fits my schedule. you get paid after each shift which is great when you need groceries, gas, a bill due, ect thank you guys so much!!! ❤
I have just downloaded this app and I'm happy as ever to find out that there not available in my city but if I spread the word about snapshyft , then hopefully soon they'll be here , otherwise I'll just have to find the city they are in and go there just for this app , lol man if I only had the patience enough to read the selection of citys this company is in.
So far this is a great app. You've gotta look at it almost every hour cause the shifts go fast, but whoever came up with this idea for an app is a genius!
Downloaded and registered 3 months ago, still haven't been approved. All needed documents entered and sent. Still nothing. Complete waste of time.
They have the worst support team I've ever came across! No text back, no numbers to call to speak to someone, never respond back to emails, these guys are just the worst in support
I like that everyone using this app has equal opportunities. But i always experience a bug error when i try to apply for a shyft. Please help me.
Awesome. So far all the shifts I've worked have been catering events and the only company in the Denver area seems to be Serpentipty....so far it's been a GREAT experience....😁

Okay here we are January 2020 that's what I was told the app would be launched and ready to go , in the SF bay area i guess its still not there yet waiting patiently. Will change rating when something happens!
I am still waiting for work... Profile set up and background check has been sumitted but no response...now I have access but no jobs available just accepting backups
At first it worked( maybe 2 days) I now cant even open it. I have an android but not an android 9. That is tge one they say they are having problems with. Im starting to wonder if it is a scam.
Love Snapshyft. The jobs are easy and fun. And you get paid real fast.
I haven't booked any shifts yet to give a 5th star. The app is great and I love the concepr!
Good idea, terrible design and functionality! Waste of time.. I won't be changing my review, it's really not worth downloading again, there's minimal jobs posted most already filled! More likely to find work by just walking in or using a different app(facebook,Craigslist, ect)
