Was a five star app until September when I cashed in for an amazon gift card. I've emailed the support team 3 times and they say they're looking in to it and that's about it for over a month now.
Was doing well, but the last 2 times i tried to redeem my cards I never did get them. Useless to try and email them. I really liked it when i could redeem my cards tho. Uninstslled and moved on.
Just deleted the app. Wrote 3 emails for not receiving 2 gift cards after cashing out my points and no response. Been trying since September.
I try to sign up and it says that new registration are currently not accepted. Join our waitlist to get notified when we open registration again.
I received gc I earned months ago. But submitted again and have neither received the GC or a response from two emails to customer service. So irritated with it.
I have emailed both the ourcart and the snapstar and have not heard back from either I cashed out for 2 gift cards and haven't recieved them
never got my points! gift card! I'm pissed wasted my time
This app has glitches it can't fix and punishes the customers for their mistake that their team can't fix. Been emailing them telling the team what is going on still haven't fixed it. Issue I open my account when I push the close button it gives me points without scanning a receipt. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Still doing it. Can anybody help me because they red flagged from entering sweepstakes or getting gift cards. Apparently the snapstar team can't fix it. Thank you
So the app is up again but the scanner you scan items is giving a server experiencing difficulties error and when you close the app well you do t get the chance to scan. I had a weekly receipt with a lot of points lost...Thank you but no one ever responds to any type of contact.
I will admit I love winning things & the stuff you win is straight from Amazon, no issue there & it's good quality stuff too so I will increase my stars to 3 for that but the rest needs to be fixed so it can be better. *UPDATE- They changed the way they give out stars per product, it's 10 or nothing. A heads up & I know from experience, when you snap a picture of multiple receipts then go into My Receipts to scan the items scan one receipt then when finished exit out of the My Receipts section so your stars for that one can be added then go back to My Receipts section & scan the next one. You need to go back to the main screen after scanning each receipt. If you don't, stars for the last receipt you scanned will only be added. I learned this the hard way & am missing hundreds of stars bc who knew you had to go back & forth in order to get stars you earned by scanning items added. *1st Review- 1st their stars for receipts are WAY off, usually by over 100+ too. If you contact support it takes awhile & that's if they feel they care this time but considering it's an on going issue they are probably overloaded with emails regarding the issue. I'd let some stars go but when I'm owed 240 stars? Of course not. Then after so many emails they just stop responding all together so your beat. 2ndly when you lose a sweepstakes you enter your given a chance to earn them back with a wheel to spin for the number of times you enter. Watch closely at the wheel & how suddenly & how often it stops at 10 stars (like slamming on the breaks at the last minute) you can tells it's rigged. In the beginning I won 4 things for sweepstakes, it was exciting. They changed how frequently a sweepstakes ends which is fine but considering how many receipts you can submit a week & how many stars it is to enter a sweepstakes there is no way that some ppl are able to win as many times as they are. That means they don't enter alot based on the numbers but some how the same ppl are winning each week. Something isn't right there & when I sent an email about it guess what they said? NOTHING! Hahaha. The whole thing is rigged. It's a win for them bc they are getting the info they want & a lose for you bc your getting nothing so there for we're all suckers. Don't waste your space on your phone, you aren't missing anything & you won't be sorry.
Once again I cashed out my points and NO gift card. This is the second time. Nothing worse than bait and switch. No response to my email inquires. Bummer....well I guess all good things come to an end.
**UPDATE** Has SnapStar abandoned ship? I have so many support tickets that they NEVER respond to. I traded in my stars for an Amazon gift card - took my stars and never sent the code for the Gift Card. Is this app now history but they are not telling anyone? ========= I used to love this app and then it just stopped working. I have submitted numerous help tickets via the app and all have gone unanswered. About to give up.
I cannot get a response from customer service. Emailed them a month ago about a gift card that I never received. If I hear from them soon I will change my rating, but if not I will downgrade and uninstall.
I have sent numerous emails to support and have never gotten a response. I can not redeem gift cards. Also my points reset awhile back. No response again from support. I am starting to wonder if there are even any gift cards.
Really delete me when I been signed up for a yr ago now I'm on a waiting list. Why should I have to be on waiting list when I have an account. Now I have to start from zero again. Now cool for them doing this to people like me.
Use code "t41qj" when registering for bonus stars that you may use for Amazon giftcards. This app is similar to their older Shopprize, both of them pretty good and reward you for something you already do. Might as well take advantage of it! Edit: can't even access the app anymore.
I was once a member, then it went away.i guess it is back up and running, but I'm on the wait list.

Snapstar what is going on? I won a prize on October 4, 2018 and I still haven't received it. Also when I won the small coffee maker it worked once and that was it. I reached out via email and never was responded to. So please what is going on?
A waiting list....horrible way to attract more people to your app. I will give you 7 days. If the wait is longer, than your not worth it
01/07/18, Loaded app yesterday, opened it today it didn't load/open, so I un installed and reinstalled. Once I reinstalled I got a wait list message. I signed up for wait list and we will update my review/rating accordingly. 02/04/18 update, I emailed them as requested after my first review, that was 3 weeks ago I got no response. So I emailed again 5 days ago and again no response. I tried to open the app on my phone again and got the message to join the wait list. So I filled out the form, but there is no validation that I'm actually on the wait list. While this app looks promising, customer support is non- existent. Uninstalling.

Cashed out on 9.5.18 and still haven't gotten the link for my $5 for Amazon... have emailed and no reply.. never had this happen.. what is going on
This app won't let me join it says I'm in await list that I've been in for months almost a year now please fix
I started out liking this app then it started to have issues. Then the issues were getting fixed. One morning I was trying to download a few receipts that I had. I was unable to do so. A message saying server error try again Kept coming up on the screen. After a few days of this happening it started my account all the way over. I was never able to redeem any of my points for the gift cards and I had a lot. Now they have me on a waiting list and won't start my account back up. This app could be a scam.
When I 1st signed up, you could get Amazon gift cards for x amount of stars. When the app updated, that option went away. Kind of disappointed about this , but can still get for buying x amount of certain items. Edited review: I have now dropped my review to 1 star. Wish I could go lower. Haven't been able to get into account for a few days. Looks like my stars are back to zero. Please straighten out the bugs and I will increase stars again.
Is anyone alive at Snapstar? If the app is not working please remove it from the app store. I cashed out 2 weeks ago and it says wait 72 hours. Have sent 4 emails to two different emails and have not heard anything other than the computer generated response that they received my email and being reviewed by support staff. The last time I cashed out and received a card was July 22, 2018. Pleas e disable app if it is no longer active. Enjoyed the app while it worked
