If you want to see cool photos then this app is great!! But if you're just an amateur who enjoys taking pictures and would like to share some with the hopes that maybe a few may be worth something, this app is absolutely not for you. It's confusing as hell. The process of uploading a picture for others to see is confusing. The process and explanation for what is an acceptable photo and what isn't is confusing. Just an all around crappy app. I wouldn't recommend.
Doesn't have a search option to search for photos or categories. I cant figure out/understand this app. I opened it for about 5 minutes and it's kind of useless. Your only option is to scroll through photos in weird random categories. Again there isn't even a search bar. No photo site is any good without a search option. Completely useless. I'm afraid to upload any pictures, because the pictures I saw didnt have watermarks and your pictures can easily be stolen and used with a simple screen shot
Upload keywords you have to first type a word in and then select it from the list below then add. But I have not been able to log in for several days now. I also can't seem to load photos. Can't seem to add to challenges. I have emailed them but have not heard a response and this app has not been updated since 2019. For some reason my personal photo are not showing. Something new for a new day
I would really love to try this app but when I go to add a photo to my portfolio and I go to add the keywords the app completely shuts down. Fix this and I'll update my review. *Edit: uninstalling, no changes or fixes to this issue. Was gunna give it a try but was never able to upload a single photo. If I could give 0 stars I probably would.
I deleted app shortly after installing without ever signing up, opening it, or using it, because it was forcing ads on phone even with internet turned off and rights to do that blocked for this app... Yet as soon as Play store had access to my phone again (I keep it shut off with no internet when not wanting to use web), this app forcibly reinstalled itself and threw up ads again just as before. Why would anyone put up with that level of invasiveness? If it happens again FTC will follow up.
The customer service is horrible. They send automated messages via email without ever really targeting the issue you wrote them about. I've sent a dozen emails and still can't get my issue resolved. I would love to leave a good review saying they fixed my issue but I can't do that until they try even a little on their end
A wonderful way to share your own photography and be inspired by other successful photographers. And its pretty amazing how involved the snapwire team is with the creators. The snapwire app makes sure to let me know that a live person can address any specific problems or challenges I may have. I'm excited to see where this will take my photography skills.
Seems like a super cool app. Liked the approch. BUT I'm unable to use it. Tried several times to post to a challenge, but it's keep circling and upload nothing. So adios from me. Have Fun.
the concept is nice but there were too few challenges on which to participate. after aweek of using it, suddenly it was impossible to view challenges because it says there is no internet connection when there is! no fix has been issued.
I like the lay out and feel of this app but even after having just downloaded it I can already see that it is mainly friends/family who are nominating photos. Some very poor photos are nominated and are leading in categories while some of the far better photos are more or less ignored.
There are an awful lot of critical reviews on this app already. It has been 9 days since I applied, no word back except an email that told me it takes time to review my app. NINE DAYS???? Maybe its an attempt to steal one's photos when they apply, I don't know. The app process should not be this difficult or long. Highly disappointed. You should also be able to still access the site whether or not you get accepted so one can learn what its all about. Photographers BEWARE! Something is fishy.
App was working good. Tried for several minutes to upload 1 photo, when I finally did, I then got an error message stating no internet connection. My wifi strength is excellent and every other app works fine.
No matter what keywords I choose the program adds random irrelevant keywordsbto my photos. Send email about it more than a week ago and never got a reply. Also, no option to delete account anywhere. I should be able to do so easily.
I absolutely love this application as a photographer and video creator! It's very simple and easy to use and I have earned lots of money working with snap of wire. Highly recommended great job to everyone on their team!
Issue: add keyword feature not working Looks like there is a bug while adding keyword inside the app. It is frustrating as it is mandatory to add min. 5 keywords while uploading any photo but keywords disappear no matter if you save it or add it.
This doesn't work for me as well, I can't upload anything because it tells me to add atleast 5 word to my photo and I do and click save, then it tell me to do the same thing again! Getting deleted, I'll try something better that actually works!
I dont know HOW ppl rate this anything below 5 ⭐'s! I joined in 2015,looking for a platform to sell my digital art.I was not a photographer,never even considered it.But once I navigated through the basics(easy& comprehensive to do) I found the challenges & requests were so cool that I got a decent camera & started submitting. It only took a few weeks before I made money. Its been 6 years, this app has not only made me become a photographer but has helped me go from amateur to elite. I ❤ snapwire
Super buggy no real spot to buy photos besides the challenges and doesnt show in your account when you get a like or when you get a subscriber it only shows in the activity feed the app makes it very hard to get started on actually getting yourself out there the app all around is lacking clarity.
I installed this app because I wanted to sell my photos but the h*ck??! I cannot upload my photos and it says "Unable to save photos please check your intenet connection" whhy??? My wifi is not lag or loading. We have fast internet connection. Oh come on please fix this!
Freaking stupid app. Can't upload photos. When uploded, it didn't update the status that you have 1 photos uploaded. Can't recognize the photos that meant to upload. Useless app! I thought I could sell photos here but app doesn't even let me upload 1 photo. How can I sell photos here? Please do something!!!! Uninstal it right now!!!!
Working within this newly downloaded app, I am amazed with the ease of use and numerous opportunities to network, create content, and receive compensation. Definitely a useful resource for branding and expanding your customer base from the ground up. This app represents a template for success!
Haven't been able to open the app since downloading it. Keeps saying I don't have an internet connection which is false. Please fix this. Zero stars as of now.
I don't know what happened first my account shows that I have no internet connection even I am connected already and able to contact the support team. Second when I follow the advice of the support team to log out, right now I can not log in anymore even I go using the browser it appears 403 Forbidden. What is wrong with snapwire
When I download the app and try to sign in, it always says, "no internet connection, retry". My internet is just fine. The app on my iPad works fine. Developers please fix. Edit: fixed
So far EXCELLENT! Smooth! Super easy to navigate, clear instructions and simple guidelines. Fun and exciting, too. ******EDIT****** I am unable to share a photo to the app direct from my photos. I am forced to select my photo from my gallery through the app, which costs me a ton of time searching (again) for the exact shot I had entended to upload. This got old quickly, and im loosing momentum. Also, every time I hit my phones back button (Google Pixel 2), the app completely closes. Thanks!
