Snoppa

You can't use the gimbal without the app but the app doesn't recognized the device. It is connected but when you try to calibrate it will ask you to connect to the device. You can't even update even though you tried to. And the drift calibration is so dumb that you have to turn off the gimbal, fold and lock it and turn it on which is a no-no without attaching the phone first. This is so useless.

With the latest update, With Kylin-M, the timelapse feature only works in one direction now. Just Right to Left. No option to go Left to Right. When moving to position to take the next stop, the gimbal jerks into position causing vibrations, not smoothly. Also have to quit app and restart gimbal to get back to regular mode. No way to reset to get back to zero point setting. When are you adding the interface for the Atom? (Still waiting on delivery)

Serious flaws and missing features in this app: no 60fps video, very poor object and face-following, terrible audio, full motion range built in device not functional, and major flaws in the lighting and exposure, in any mode. Whenever I take a photo, video, or change front to back camera, the lightning suddenly becomes pitch black, and I have to reset the flash/Af/Mf, bizarrely, for it to have any light on the screen at all - FOR EVERY PHOTO OR VIDEO CLIP TAKEN. This is a deal-breaker.

I'm coming from an Osmo mobile 2 and honestly I'm really impressed by the Snoppa Atom and the app itself. It's clearly a new product but it is loaded with features. Great value, features and performance. There's some glitches but overall really happy with the device and application.

As is so often the case with smart phone related kickstarter hardware, the snoppa atom 2 accompanying app is disappointing right now. On my Samsung galaxy s21 ultra the video quality recorded by this app is low, with inconsistent frame rate in the final video, and no choice of back camera. Thankfully the gimbal works fine with the standard camera app, though advanced features like panorama etc are not supported. If I was snoppa I'd work on compatibility with other apps, like FiLMiC Pro etc.

Great app, although understanding some of the functions is a bit difficult (might be my own problem there). I only wish the app could access/use the wide angle camera on the Samsung Galaxy S10, as the default setting only zooms out to the standard camera angle, not to the wide angle. Aside from that, lovely app!

Really like this app for the snoppa atom..if it can include the calibrating of the horizontal gombal adjustment option because the horizon tends to go out of level by itself...and also...please have the pano mode and wide angle mode sort out...i cant seems to save in those mode after it had completed the action...it stated completed...but there is no where to find the picture...can you please make an update for the app..

app crashes a lot, latest update has made things worse - the trigger button on the atom gimbal no longer works for any settings and i can no longer record any audio at all using a gimbal mic. very disapointed given the marketing and the excitement I had built up waiting to recieve the atom gimbal. i run a Oneplus 5T with android bte.

Just got the device and found many flaws since the app contains bugs and not well calibrated. How can i use this gimbal when it keep slowly rotating (it cannot stay vertically and horizontally still at 90 and 180 degree). Damn software.

The app appears to be broken? When trying to connect to the gimbal, nothing happens, making all of the gimbal buttons useless. I tried contacting support and was just told reset my gimbal, which obviously didn't work since the gimbal isn't the problem.

The gimbal works, but the feature in the app are bugged as hell: the app frequently resets the phone upon starting, the "2x2" panorama mode most of the time creates landscape photos, making it useless. Also, no support for Raw photos even on phones that have them

Does not work with Android 10 - Google Pixel 3 XL - Currently have not input on the overall features, functionality or usability or application stability. When attempting to access and open the application it launches and then crashes.

App still crashes a decent amount. Wouldn't rely on it. Really big turn off imo. Also, audio quality is really bad without an external mic. I've heard this is a specific OnePlus 6/6T problem though.

I didn't have any problems with the app or the device before when I got it from backing it on kickstarter but with the current update I just installed I realized after 10 minutes of use the battery became extremely hot and upon closing the device it permanently locked and will no longer open. Please advice for a solution

Need more video settings. Where is my 60fps? Flat picture profile will be also very helpful. And Atom gimbal needs more stability in complex movements - sometimes it just shaking and I have to restart it.

The Atom Gimbal is great and while the Snoppa app works with my Pixel 3, I can't utilize a higher FPS setting like 1080p60 or resolutions higher than 1080p on my Pixel 3. When using the iOS version of the app with an iPhone Xr, it does work with higher FPS (1080p60) and 4k video capture.

-The support chat is absolutely broken. The consultant can't receive photos, it closes randomly etc. -App crashes randomly (crashed after gimbal firmware update) -The in-app joystick for the Kylin M is unusable (lags and is jittery) Pro: Connection with the gimbal is very fast.

This is the worst app i have ever used in my life. It does not open. I have never gone passed the start screen. It just shuts down and says app is not working. I bought the snoppa atom but have not once used it through the app because it does not start. I regret my decision of buying the atom as half of the function only work with the app. Disappointed. If it was upto to me i would give no stars but it doesn't let me post this if i dont select one.

I like the app but in needs support for higher frame rates and resolutions, e.g. 1080 60 and above. I find unless I record at 60fps my videos can't have the smooth fluid look I want.

horrible app, keeps crashing on my pixel 3, i was one of the early supporters of this gimbal and it was very buggy when they shipped it to me last year so had not used it, looks like noyhing has happend in 1 year, same buggy device and app .. feels.like I have been conned
