Good game, but, issues. I get that you make your money from ads, but placing them so that you *can't* see the timer, your score, etc. is poor UX design. Make the ad banner a little less than 1/3 the screen in width. Bind it to the bottom-center of the screen so it is between the joystick and control buttons. It would fill the void below the character, and interfere with gameplay *much* less. (Also, no ads for users with past purchases would be nice... )
I truly love this game, however, there are a few issues I am having and I found a few other players are as well. Firstly, there are a few objectives I can think of that are impossible to complete like performing 2 and 5 slides on the half pipes. No matter what I do or how many slides, it can't be completed. Secondly, performing a double back flip with any grab will not come up as completed. Please fix these issues. Other than that graphics and controls are perfect once you learn how to control it properly.
Plenty of fun to be had without paying, which is great. The ads get obtrusive at times--lately there's been a lot of obnoxious TikTok ads--but they're bearable. Lately I've been having issues with some objectives not marking as completed even after they've been exceeded. That gets frustrating. The game is still fun, though. It can be a bit of a grind to get enough coins to upgrade, but it's manageable.
I'd give it 5 stars, but i wanted to leave room for improvement. I haven't found any other shredding games, but this one is comparable to PS2 "Resist Gravity" and I'd assume other PS2 games. Might even be a bit better than that. If I had one suggestion, "Make the control area for the boarder bigger and more sensitive. Otherwise it feels like you have to push too hard, move the controls too stiffly, too hard, too focused. It's hard on the fingers.
Great fame. Fun and entertaining. Playability is great and graphics are quite good too. The only issue I have is the repetitive music. Menu music never changes. In-game music just cycles the same tiny library over and over. Can you make an option to play from our music library? Eg, from songs in a folder? For those idiots deleting due to permissions, your loss.. The permissions are for your game progress and music it stores on your device. Phone permissions is so the game pauses on a call.
Game was fun... until. Picked up this game with my play pass, so supposed to be no ads. I was having fun, playing daily. And then. Ads. And everything is locked. Yeah. No thanks. Reinstalled to see if it's a fluke, nope. Uninstalled. Too bad. Gameplay was fun, controls were a little finicky, but generally worked. Challenges were pretty appropriate. Some easy, some pretty tough.
Capital City Canal has glitches about a quarter of the way down the map where the player stops and hovers in the air before the map reloads. And then it stutters again and glitches to the point where you're either forced to wait until time runs out or you exit. It is very frustrating to have a map that DOESN'T WORK.
Ok I like the gameplay and everything but I am really mad about one thing. I paid 7 dollars for the premium version of this app with "no ads". Well turns out it continually displays banner ads that cover my points amount when I'm boarding and sometimes full screen 20 second ads that I can't skip! Give me my money back or else fix the problem.
Overall pretty fun game. One half pipe level is completely broken 👎and unplayable which drops my score a bit. Not bad for a "free" download on the Play Pass. All in all the game is pretty repetitive with nothing revolutionary or special added to an old formula. Definitely worth a pay but don't expect a lot.
Oh man this is a very good snowboard game. I like you can carve into the snow for quick turn arounds and some extra tricks to keep the score going. Also the camera is very good when airing out of a pipe and adjusts to the best angles. Animations and controls are all very smooth. Just got the full game too. Very enjoyable.
Choppy gameplay, some objectives aren't even in the game, glitches like some things disappearing in for of you, rider relocating mid movement, some task never complete even if you completed the task. Needs alot of work to make a better playing experience.
Doesn't teach you tye tricks needed to complete the tutorial
Very good game, controls are almost there but not quite hence 4 out of 5. Tricks require a direction and certain button to be pressed. The same directional joy stick is also required to spin and flip. So very difficult to actually do half the tricks and combine with a spin or flip.
Repetitive fun, but very glitchy and broken. Trick objectives in half-pipe mode do not register when completed as do other game objectives, supposed levels are non-existent, time-attack mode glitches badly when doing tricks, and there is random spinning of the character when doing tricks throughout gameplay. Graphics are great, level design and uniqueness is good, controls are decent for a phone game, trick selection could use improvement, and the music - well, at least you can turn that off.
I bought this game believing no ads would interrupt my play. This is a lie the ads continue to cover up my score during play. Also the game clearly has glitches which make it difficult to finish a level (snowflakes that you have to collect literally disappear on contact). For the game play for this app it should have been free.
Many course goals are not recognised as passed. For example, a 900 with any grab is easy to achieve but it remains on several course goal lists. Two slides per run also not recognised. And collect 4 or 5 snowflakes per run, and then the snowflakes are split on two sides of the course making it impossible to collect them all. My rating will change when this crooked game is fixed. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME! Edit: game got no better. Uninstalled.
Game is hella fun. Really doesn't take too much time to learn the basics. After learning basics each trip down you'll be able to do more tricks. The only problem I've had is actually downloading the game itself. If that part was easier I'd give the game 4.5 stars.
I have a galaxy S 9 + And by smart phone standards I would expect smooth easy games play and more important smooth responsive game controllers with customized graphics and sensitivity settings for controllers with control type options or xbox controller compatibility from any game that I am going to spend money on . In short this is not worth the money
Bought the upgrade to get rid of ads... Ads are still there and can't restore the purchase. Good game but I feel like I got tricked. Oh nevermind, all is well now, I had to uninstall and reinstall . Great game guys !!! New update : ads are back on top left corner of the screen. Am I doing something wrong?
Pretty fun game. Levels are fun it's like cool boarders back in the 90's. The problem is you cannot complete the missions. The snowflakes and letters disappear before you can get them or they are just not there. Or there is not enough snowflakes places in the level.
Steering is not great while also performing tricks. Tilting the phone, tablet, etc. to steer would be a more professional set up to get a better performance. But on the whole a decent game
I adore this game, specially the jump section, which I do and do again (I'm ranker below 10 in most jump races). 2 things tho : never understood the multimode version, I paid for it but it seems there is never anybody connected. Other major point : I changed for a new phone. How do I get back to my former results, so that I don't start from scratch again? This is very important for me. Thank you !
