Tests that must be followed are Basic Competency Selection (SKD) or Basic Competency Test (TKD) which uses the CAT (Computer Assisted Test) system. This test consists of three parts of the test material namely the National Insight Test (TWK), General Intelligence Test (TIU), and Personal Characteristics Test (TKP).

The number of TKD questions varies every year and in various agencies. But, looking at CAT's experience in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights CPNS Selection yesterday, the number of problems was 100, with details of the 30 questions of Nationality Insights (TWK), 35 General Intelligence Tests (TIU) and 35 Personal Characteristics Tests (TKP); where the time provided is 90 minutes. The problem is not spread (for example 1-30 numbers are about TWK, 31-65 TIU, 66-100 TKP)

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform No. 22 of 2017 in article 2, applicants must at least achieve a score of 298. With details, 75 points for the National Insight Test, 80 points for General Intelligence Test, and 143 points for Personal Characteristics Test. If one part of the test is not met, then it is certain that the participant will not qualify, even though he gets a total score above 298.

For National Insight Test and General Intelligence Test material, each correct question will get 5 points. If it's wrong or doesn't answer, get 0 points.

This means there is no reduction in value. While for Personal Characteristics Test, each answer choice weighs 1 to 5 points, where the best answer gets 5 points. So, to reach the threshold value, the test participant must answer the questions correctly at least 15 numbers from a total of 30 for TWK, and 16 numbers from a total of 35 questions for TIU. While for the Personal Characteristics Test, choose the best answer to reach 143 as best as possible.

This form of SKB can be in the form of tests with CAT, psycho-tests, practice exams and interviews. The form and material of SKB are determined by the relevant agencies, so that the form and type of examinations and the questions of each agency and position will be different from each other.

But keep in mind, that the questions that will come out on the exam later are not necessarily the exact same as the sample questions that exist in this application.

All you can do is study the grid and expand the knowledge related to the material tested in the CPNS test.

The broader our knowledge about the subject matter to be tested, the greater the chance to answer CPNS test questions.

When working on a problem, remember that we have to go beyond the passing grade in each part of the question (with the amount described in the selection stage), to be able to pass. In the simulation option, you can test your skills, and find out the value of each part of the test, in the simulation question package that we provide.

Keep in mind, at the time of the actual exam later, from the various experiences we have gathered, the test participants are not allowed to REPLACE ANSWER, can only pass questions that have not been worked on, then the passed questions will come back after completing the last question.

All calculations must be familiarized to be done manually. Based on experience, the exam committee provides opaque paper for the purposes of the examinee's scribbles.
