The system is great quality, but this app is horrible.. the newest update obviously has a bug so it runs horrible when it does work.. when you want to look at past footage the time is off, also we should be able to click what cams we want up thru the app. Idk we cant.

I've been using SoCatch for many years on an android phone. It worked great up until a year or so ago when it was updated. Now, the app us constantly down. I try uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Then it just starts working again. I also downloaded app on my ipad and desktop with no issues, just the phone. Still not working as of 12/7/2020

Not great, but bad either. The only issue i have with it is that if your internet connection isn't great or you're in an area with low signal it isn't gonna work well. But when it works, it works great! Just would be better if it worked regardless of how bad/slow your wi fi is or how bad reception your mobile data is. The creators of this app definitely need to fix this and update it asap. Overall a very good solid app.....when it works.

Cannot connect to my camera after the app updated!

Notification/alert doesn't work anymore. I used to be able to receive motion detection notification before, but after the last 3 or 4 updates, I can't get any notification. Now this whole system becomes completely useless. Should have gotten the Dahua DVR, their app works better. Please fix the problem! 2021/04/28 It's been almost 2 years since my last review. Still no fixes. Well never buy any SoCatch systems again!!

This is the most painful app I have ever tried to use...and I NEED it!!! We are on holidays right now, and I can NOT check our camera's as the app won't allow us to search anything. It is slow and definitely unreliable!!! Every time they do an update, the app gets worse. It is so frustrating!!! PLEASE FIX IT ASAP!!!

Updating my review, I was getting "Connection failed" error after update to the version 1.4.12. The issue was fixed in 1.4.16, thanks!

Was okay until the latest update to ver. 1.4.11 which resulted in failed connection! Updated ver was released 26 Dec 2021 and updated on 28 Dec 2021. Please rectify ASAP, thanks!

This app works really well with my DVR. The only permission i have granted it is storage. It connects everytime using my DNS address. You can view live and save photo's and high quality clips of CCTV to any mobile device. I have been using this for over a year now, I highly recommend it.

After upgrade this app stopped working. Now I cannot access my cctv via app. Version 1.4.10 was working properly.

Lost feed since Dec 26 update. I watch still works w same parameters. What is the issue and can it be resolved??

I have never been able to use notifications on my devices. trued on pixel, samsung and one plus 6 with no joy. all settings are correct on my dvr and mobile and still waiting on developers to tell me what is going on. if not sorted soon it will just be a waste of money having these cameras as i need to have notifications.

i am not alone with this problem. Since last update can't connect on tablet or phone. Keeps coming up check network or user/password. Can view cameras on my desktop but that's when I am in property. Surely the point of the App is to view your property when you out. PLEASE GET IT FIXED

spent entire day on this android app. very flaky crashes 4 times in 5 (samsung galaxy). new cctv system correctly set up. when app works 1 in 5 times, can check camera but after 10 seconds blanks out then crashes. In this day and age there is no excuse for poor software.

after update to 1.9.20190829 i can not connect to my dvr. the app does not work on my wifes phone either. It's like they both stopped working at the same day. I tried an old version that ended with 25 on an old phone and it works fine. So It appears to be the new update. please help

NOTE TO OTHERS USING THIS: Update might/will render your CCTV app useless. Try googling an older version of the app online (WRITE DOWN ALL YOUR EXISTING DETAILS BEFORE UNINSTALLING!!). I went to download version 1.9.2018xxx and worked like a charm. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: Please fix the update.

Unfinished application. Can only last 15-20 seconds and the whole video stopped even though the DVR has a perfectly fine cable internet, and the phone used for watching is using a really fast internet connection. Lag beyond annoying.

This new version of I watch does not work! it worked when first set up but no longer works. unable to view cameras remotely. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling at least 6 times. Still not working! very dissatisfied!

Glitchy, very slow to load if it loads at all. Having to reboot the system two to three times a week even after purchasing a high tech surge protector.

What have you done with you're app. Is this a security risk. No access to systems. Keeps crashing and it's not a user issue as it worked perfectly fine up till recently. . Please sort this out.

useless. it consistently loads but does not work saying it needs password and ip when it is on the input menu. tried removing from mobile and reinstall but still does not want to work. done thus quite a few times but still NGB!
