Pretty average, perhaps a but below. It's fun to play but it's definitely pay to win. The premium currency is too necessary in order to progress and they aren't worth the value. I don't mind some microtransactions, but in this game they negatively impact the average users experience significantly. Additionally, it's required that you add friends and receive gifts to upgrade your building beyond 2 floors. Which requires seeking out ID's outside of the game and is not intuitive at all.

As per usual from Kairosoft, a fun and enjoyable game. However, the premium currency, Coins, really put a damper on things, unlike their other games. You earn them at a significantly slow rate, which means you progress a lot slower unless you buy a large amount, and they are expensive. Other than that, it's a fun game. Incredibly enjoyable and super cute!

Cute game but I hope for the meeting points needed to be lessen. It's so hard to collect cards, so I can try new combinations to create new games and try what's work best.

I enjoy this game a lot. Its not overly confusing, the graphics are cute, I like the "battle" sequence while making a game. I personally think certain parts take a long time, like coming up with ideas to create a game, or upgrading the game cards to make them unlimited. I get it though, its a free game. Coins could be slightly easier to get though.

Bugs fixed! So excited to play again! Has been extremely fun but now after unlocking own development it freezes as soon as I start playing and makes it unplayable. They fixed the last freezing issue so hopefully they'll fix this one too soon. Edit: it's been a week and still completely unplayable. It goes through login rewards then completely freezes. Please update and fix. I enjoyed this game until now. Update has not fixed it. Game still frozen upon playing.

It's VERY slow paced compared to the latest titles, and the need of friends and Kairo Land (which I can't download because of memory issues). I've accepted that I'll only have two floors on my company, and I may never have real meetings, because of the lack of medals. I just like the subject of the game, and that's why I'm giving two stars. Few game managing games are done, most of them are idle games.

Not great, i love kairosoft games, but this game is confusing, not forthcoming with information on how to do things, completely unintuitive, has a cash shop shoehorned in for no reason. Pass this one up.

I enjoy the banter between the adorably designed characters but earning some items through watching commercials would be nice than having to download 5 different games just to play those in order to gain more resources to get back to this one and play better. Financially struggling people want to play your stuff too! In short : fun but has inconveniences. In closing: Thank you for creating things.

Has capacity to be a great game, but there are real issues with making progress within your first 20 hours of the game. You are pretty limited in options unless you use your limited gold coins to unlock extra items, it's super difficult to get your game ranked well, and overall it gets frustrating and repetitive. I would have preferred to pay their typical $4.99 for the game with more accessibility instead of it being a daily access type of game.

Its more difficult than other Kairosoft games to stay in the black and to make money to move to the higher levels. I have also found a bug where I cannot place items on the far edges of the 1st floor as the cursor wont stay there. This means I also cannot change items such as desks. I like the premise but this feels like a clumsy rushed game, compared to the highly polished Game Dev Story

Free premium currency for reviews. Fairly standard kairosoft, and thusly enjoyable, but a huge time sink for little payoff. The friend system is by ID only, no choosing random players over the world through the game interface and friends are required to progress past the second floor. Pacing is off, and theres basically no guidance whatsoever in or out of the game.

Fun game and can be addictive trying to get better at it. Can be difficult with finding combos that actually work and not paying for coins makes it a little difficult to play continuously. In saying that, coins don't mean much and the game can still be enjoyed without purchasing.

I'm not sure what happened here, kario are awesome, but you really messed this one up and it was easily one of the best ones I've played, you went and halted progress on the fact you would need friends to send you gifts at certain levels, you haven't added a friend system either, so there's no way of even adding friends unless it's a real friend you know and hang with in life (or search the internet non stop) even then there is a limit of just a mear 10 friends, such a stupid move, disappointed.

Extremely disappointing considering I've played numerous Kairisoft titles and enjoyed most all of them. But this... this is so buggy you can't even start a new game. I expect better than this. "Make sure to allow connection to network and check your signal quality". Every. Single. Time. Maybe they'll eventually fix this so I can post a proper review. Until then, 1 star and don't bother downloading.

It won't let me play. I've installed and uninstalled. It kept saying that I have to check my connections and whatnot. I've reset the wifi. I could stream youtube just fine, watch long hour videos in HQ, load other games, but not this! I've been playing kairosoft games for a long time, and this is the first time I've encountered such an error. Please help me solve this.

It's not the game I thought I wanted from Kairosoft, but a day into playing this, I'm enjoying it. It's like an updated game dev story, but without an end date. Edit: Have to change this to a 3 star. How friends are dealt with in this game and other "social" Kairosoft games is terrible. You can only have 10 at once, you can't add friends from within the game easily, and you have to rely on friends to send you gifts to advance your progress.

would be good if we weren't forced to add friends for more floors, have an easier way to upgrade / get better characters and a better guide like on how to actually get 3* and above characters good,simple gameplay that can be pretty addictive in it's own way as it gets easier over time when you learn how to play it

I very much enjoy the game, my only thing is that it's a little difficult to progress as far as getting new genres and topics so you kind of get stuck making the same kind of games over and over until you unlock new things. Slow progression but still an addictive game

I've only played a little bit so far, but it's pretty fun and like a free version of Game Dev Story. I can't rate it higher as it's riddled with bugs at the moment. Every time I open the fan mail thing it says game error and crashes.

Seriously? First was happy a new game. Even more so another game developer. Than find out it is a freeium and nothing but a absolute cash grab. Only way to upgrade your character a item that is token only. Want better ideas tokens only. Or if you wanted to buy a new genre yep you guessed it tokens. Has some great ideas that if they got rid of the damn greed and just did a flat fee would be phenomal game But instead greed runs rampant. Stay away from this blantant cash grab.

A good spiritual sequel to Game Dev Story, my only issues are that a lot of mechanics and features aren't well explained at all, and the grind is a lot more intense than Game Dev Story. This doesn't matter if you're just playing casually every now and then I guess, but if you were putting real effort into progressing, it would get very frustrating.

As with others, game freezes at first gamedex. Haven't found a work around which means game is unplayable. Edit: Do not know if the patch on 4/24/19 fixed this, but a work around is to switch to a different language to get past this scene. seems the issue only exists when English language is being used.

All things considered, great game, but definitely not Kairosofts best work. Premium currency always drags down a mobile game, imo, which is fine if it's decently grindable, but the fact that it rarely is makes it questionable on its worth in playing. Don't get me wrong, I still love you guys, have for years, but I just felt it was a misstep, that's all 😁

Yet another great game from Kairosoft! The controls do seem to be a bit more wonky than previous games and the ad placement is close to some regularly used buttons. But you DON'T get an ad pop up every 2 minutes like most other games, which is very nice.

It is very easy to progress, although the coins are paid by real money, there are other ways to obtain them (ie. Survey, play other apps). There are not crazy ads like other free to play games. So far, I love it!!!

I am a big fan of Kairosoft games, played many of their titles over the years. And i mean thoroughly. This one kind of falls short of that. I urge Kairosoft to take a different direction when making new games. Go back to the old ways, and it'll be better. My suggestion, keep the old style of leveling up and having stats and whatnot. Here are some suggestions. Boxing, American Football, Esports (gaming in general) Game Dev story 2. But please no in game transactions. Let us just buy the game.

Considering being a free game, it is better than many others, though it's not easy to get good results without having friends. The friends system is honestly not intuitive at all.
