one of the better interactive fiction I've played. Great story, great writing, an all around great time.
This adventure is great but I purchased Heavy Metal Thunder and it doesn't even appear in my purchase history. Why?
Played the game on iPad, loved it. Got a new phone and I can't run it. Is there any work towards comparability with androids?
Sadly can't play it on my LGv20 as this game isn't compatible with Android 7
Now that the sound is fixed, this is an awesome game. Great writing, good mechanics and just a great game.
Story is great, choices and mechanics are decent. biggest problem is that it's quite short for what you're paying.
So I get the game, thinking it would be stupid. But it is actually a great game!! The writing is very detailed, almost like you are actually there. The dialogue makes sense for the situation and for your decisions in the game. There is a stats section... I didn't even think that would be a thing! The music in the game really adds to the atmosphere of what you are reading. Everything about this game screams "I'm worth it!"
This second part of this story is a great follow up from the first. So glad these were the first of this type of game I ever tried. Loved the story and battle system squares. I will be waiting for the 3rd chapter. Keep up the awesome work. Thanks for the great new experience.
A military space opera in the tradition of Mass Effect and WH40K. The energy of the writing overcomes the occasional typo or grammatical error...If you enjoyed the first game in this series then you'll love this one, and if you haven't played the first game, then go do so! My only complaint is that it is too easy - I only lost one fight, and even then my character survived. Perhaps the next chapter could be made a little tougher?
I did not read the first but after finishing this one I bought it. Real fun book but I do agree it could be made more difficult. I think I ended with 20+ hero points. Relay value here though. Really enjoyed this. Thank you.
This series is up there with the greatest. Imagine a cross between Nietzsche and Bear Grylls stranded in space, and you will only experience a tenth of what this game has to offer.
Love it. Remind me of the kids books that I used to love updated with new gameplay technology.
a strange and unique and compelling journey that's quickly become one of my favorite franchises! Thank you cubus thank you kyle b. Stiff!
Can't import char from previous game. Aside from this- good game, although not on par with Sorcery
The conversations are so childish... The only reason i didn't quit it at the first chapter is because i read the awesome first book. This is many steps backwards except if the writer aims at 12 years old people audience
My only issue is that it does not carry on character from chapter 1. Or have I missed something?
Really love the game.
Great, unique game. It's even better than the first.
Absolutely loved it
Which way meets D&D
Great games. Shame on Google for removing them from the store.
One of the most entertaining games I've ever played!!!
Great sequel done right, the story seems even bigger than before with more character interaction and more light shed on how the legion recruitment and training is done, if it has a flaw is that it's a more linear story and even the other branches seems very similar. But I can't still do less than recommend it. I just hope I won't have to wait long for a sequel.
Why aren't money and items you have just purchased automatically picked up? If you screw up once you can lose all your money.
Choices don't really matter as long as u stay alive, u can complete it. Was expecting a lot more in terms of choices. I want my money back!
Having read the original chapter in the series Heavy Metal Thunder, Sol Invictus is what I would consider exceptional. The characters and choices are incredible, vocabulary is very well thought out, art is unique and of high quality, and most of all the playability from the choices in the game make it on par with the first novel. Keep the third in the series on your radar and please check out the first book as it is worth while.
