Solar System Explorer 3D

Soar into space and explore dozens of planets, moons and asteroids on an exciting journey through our solar system. High definition graphics and atmospheric music will make you feel like you are there!
Features:
★ HD graphics and awesome music and sound effects
★ Easy to use and intuitive controls
★ Detailed information about the places you visit
★ Images based on real photos taken by telescopes or NASA spacecraft
★ Ideal educational introduction for kids
★ An atmospheric experience in the vacuum of space!

Easy to use controls make navigation a breeze. A simple tap will send you soaring into the outer reaches of deep space. Another tap will return you safely home to Earth.

There’s lots to see and do. In addition to beautiful graphics, Solar System Explorer also includes a great deal of information about the planetary systems you’ll visit. Learning has never been so enjoyable!

With the new free-flight option, you can take direct control and fly the spaceship yourself and become the pilot. Accompanied by a rumbling engine, you’ll be swooping through the asteroid belt, diving through the gas giant Saturn’s rings and surfing the upper atmosphere of planets. It’s the next best thing to a space walk!

The 3D models in this app are based on photos taken by NASA spacecraft and ground based telescopes. Because some of the moons around the gas giants have only been visited once or twice, we may have partially complete images. Missing surface detail for these objects is estimated from what can be seen.

In this solar system simulator you can explore the brilliant blue-green Uranus, knocked onto its side by a massive collision. Visit the proto-planet Ceres which makes up one third of the mass of the asteroid belt. Marvel at Neptune's moon Triton which orbits in the opposite direction to Proteus. Take in the sights of the Jupiter's heavily scarred moon Callisto, its surface pockmarked by countless impact craters.

Places to visit in this solar system orrery:The Sun, otherwise known as SolPlanets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, MarsGas giant: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, NeptuneMoons: Luna, Deimos and Phobos, Callisto, Europa, Ganymede, Io, Mimas, Tethys, Enceladus, Dione, Rhea, Titan, Iapetus, Miranda, Umbriel, Ariel, Oberon, Titania, Triton, Proteus, CharonDwarf: Ceres, Vesta and PlutoAlso, catch up to NASA's Voyager spacecraft on its lonely journey into the cosmos

This is the 3D simulator for pocket astronomers!

I've always had a fascination with space exploration. This app takes me there and let's me get a good look around. I've only had it installed for about 15 minutes, but I can tell already that it's going to be one of my all - time favorites.

It's truly a wonderful learning tool, bought back alot of lessons I learned in school. Felt like I took a drive and the stars became streetlights on a road into our vast exploration of space and imagination. Thanks for the ride.

It is not that interesting . Too much adds. We are only limited to a small part of the massive universe. It is a boring app after visiting every planet, asteroid or satellite. It should hold more interesting facts 'bout entire universe which would make it far more attractive.

Plz add more informations about solar system.. Also make it like the way to view other galaxies from outer space..

Scarce information all pulled from Wikipedia and an absurd amount of hijacking advertisements, noisy videos, upsetting and frustrating, all the time. Really sad. The graphics are okay but it doesn't compensate at all.

I totally understand why there should be ads but if they pop up every minute you know the app has to go. Uninstalling.

It's a good start, but there are so many GUI difficulties and problems we have to face

Every other time I tapped anything, literally every 2 taps to go to a planet, or even the settings, a stupid 30 second game ad pops up. You can't enjoy the app if you have to waste that much time waiting on the same dumb ad to finish playing repeatedly. Uninstalling alley for this reason.

Menus could be better. Can't quite move around easily. Not happy that app wanted access to everything. I don't mind advertising but this is ridiculous. .

To dam many commercials and loud music on the ads which older folks don't like the dumb games etc.

Too many intrusive adds. Not worth the aggravation of these full screen annoyances

I like the way it is connected to expedia so that we can learn more. The graphics are pretty good as well.

Perfect for what I need, as someone with limited knowledge of our solar system this looks amazing, good graphics and easy to use

While looking at one thing it will just jump to another piece of junk Santa Claus orbiting planet Earth go f*** yourself a****** I'm offended and I'm uninstalling this loser program

Muh. R. Jul 5, 2017

Nice app for kids to get started to know the solar system. There can be more information about each planet. Like temperatures, days it takes to complete it's orbit, distance from sun, distance from Earth etc.

Closed forever. Nobody likes loud video ads. Hated it

RET. 1. Nov 25, 2017

Ads, ads and more ads Total waste of space. No pun intended.

Urm. V. Dec 26, 2016

When I wanted to do anything a ad pops up

A. G. u. Jul 28, 2017

App looked interesting, and I'd have been happy to donate and go pro if that were an option. Way too.many ads. No way to opt out, pay out or escape the ads, other than uninstall. Thanks, but no thanks.

Appreciate the effort but not as good as expected. Take the case of pluto, it competely denies the laws of conservation on angular momentum, actually pluto's moon is of comparable size to that of pluto, so pluto shouldn't be stationary about the axis of revolution on moon.

Nice images but I got fed up with full screen noisy adverts every minute

Ian. P. Mar 8, 2017

Ace!! Could waste a life time playing with it, awesome graphics. Pity about the ads with it!!

The music sounds like Mass Effect but the ads are annoying

Vic. M. Jan 24, 2017

This app is the best way to learn more about the solar system and the other things that are in the other solar system s around it.😋

Mad. a. Nov 24, 2016

It's nice but full version I hate full version

Joa. B. Nov 20, 2016

nearly the whole application of the solar system is on point, information on everything in our solar system, now don't read into the advertising game display it's a small 5sec. clip as for the app? gives you visual time laps in position planets & moons, precise positioning, if there's anything better than this then it will be flawless
