Simply amazing and beautiful. Sometimes a bit hard to maneuver through the solar system and select which celestial body you want to see but it's still a wonderful app with a nice calming soundtrack and interesting information about the celestial bodies both within and without our solar system. It also teaches you about the various missions to space we have undertaken!
An extraordinary comprehensive and detailed App, and one which has me wanting to check in with it again, and again. I looked for the usual in-app purchases I'm accustomed to finding in similar offerings, but couldn't find any. When I checked where it said Premium Access, it said I had Lifetime Access... No pay-wall whatsoever could I find. I want to know what's offered by purchasing the Solar Walk 2 : Planetarium edition? as they seem the same... but it's likely I'll find out as it's only €3.49.
You previously told that there are no differences in info and features between this free version and the paid version. Yes there is no difference in amount of info but there is in features. I was talking about non-accessibility of information about dwarf planets (except Pluto) and their moons as well as about history of space explorations in this version. I was complaining about making this app free with accessibility to information about everything this app has without paying for it.
Loved Solar Walk and love this. The option to speed up time is a great feature and the upgrade is terrific value for all the extras. Unfortunately it already feels dated with so many spacecraft unable to calculate their current position when you enter the present date. Would like to have seen Skylab and some of the Gemini missions listed too, but not here to grumble, I love this. Though maybe a Solar Walk 3 will be needed down the line?
When I downloaded this app the first day was running very well on my samusung galaxy A50. And I was thinking of taking a premium subscription. But the next day it was repeatedly stopped and did not open in the end. I felt very bad. Otherwise this app is incredible. If my problem solved i'll really taking the subscription.
Buyers beware. Solar Walk 2 Free is considered a completely separate app from Solar Walk 2 (its not an upgradable app). If you plan to buy premium subscription, consider buying Solar Walk 2 first, because the subscription to premium features is not transparent to both versions (there should at least be a warning in the free version of the app) ! One star, because this was not mentioned anywhere in the free version of the app (poor business practice). Would grant zero stars if i could.
I really like the app but despite the adds and premium this app really teaches you about the solar system well , but when u tap it makes a nice and relaxing sound . The app has kind of slow downloading but the updates are kind of exciting. I don't want to be selfish but I'm trying to get premium for free. Even though I liked it to everyone else their views of the game is more important then mine because they're a different person; it's obvious that there's more then one person.
The Solar System..You can watch the Suns Corona..Visit all of our Planets, Moons, one version has a 3d mode, should you have the glasses..Ideal relaxation background app..Shame you cannot project onto an interior wall, your own planetarium circling as you dreamily sleep..Could do with a fly by motion tour, circling each Planet, (perhaps each moon would be to much)..You need Premium viewing for some parts Solar Walk 2..
Not sure why I bothered to pay for premium access, when I get 5 seconds of disruptive adverts every time I look at a planet. I never had this when I paid for it on the ipad. It's a lovely app but don't pay for premium access, as it means adverts....
I use Star Walk and Solar Walk from Vito Technology and although they're great apps the IAP practices are poor. They really stain what could be one of the greatest developers on the Play Store. Having free and paid versions is ok, but please make it clear what features people are paying, and make sure paid versions are completely premium and not just ad-free versions (that should be an upgrade in free versions only).
Simply loving it. Everything about this app is extraordinary the detail and vastness of the starchart the astounding graphics combined with relaxing yet motivating music/sounds the extremely user friendly navigation plus the extended availability of information on so many objects are just marvelous.... CEEP ON CREATING BEAUTY PLEASE.
I'm kicking myself on this one. Star Walk 2 is one of my absolute favorite apps, and based on my love of it I installed this and bought the premium subscription without reading the entire list of features, and the statement in smaller print at the very bottom of that list noting that this "premium" access won't prevent Danny DeVito from popping up on my screen while browsing dwarf planets. Yes, it's my own fault, and I won't lose sleep over $5. That said, the developer disappointed me on this front. Based on the number of reviews I now see with the exact same concern, wouldn't it make sense to move that notice to the top of the app description? In a more prominent font? Or state as much in app? Now that's off my chest... This app is really well done, extremely informative, a joy to use and probably should be 5 stars. (How would this review come off if I lead with that?)
It is very good until you look at additional still photos such as our sun from different light wavelengths. NO detail like the satellite images. The tapped on views stars is spectactular showing the corrina, solar flares, color and tempature variations. Earth is topographic global map.
This app is unbelievable... However, I have the lifetime premium option and still get ads. My 4year old is the one using it so it's very annoying. I would pay to remove ads (but feel that should go with the premium option)
I downloaded the free version of this app and decided to buy the pro version soon later. What the publisher doesnt make clear is there are many, many elements of the pro version that is not available until you buy even more modules. Dont rush to go for this app, sly marketing and very disappoined with them.
I'd have given 10 stars to this app if possible. So much beautiful, elaborate, detailed and buttery smooth UI. I hardly seen in any other apps on the play store. I was showing the stars to my student n she was surprised to watch that how many starts are available here in this app. Just Incredible. My only request is add some other Galaxies if possible. At least Andromeda. And make possible to go smoothly from stars to stars in full screen mood.
I really love the app because it allows you to move around in the third dimension of space. The negatives have to do with dimensions of the solar planets and their distance from their sun and the size of the planets. They just don't match. The inner planets look too large with respect to the size of the Sun and their distancefrom it. Secondly, satellite information is lacking with respect to the Pioneer spacecraft and their initial exploration of the Solar System.I just didn't see it there.
Paid for Premium...but... The premium app is available for the Family Library, I paid for the upgrade through this app but it doesn't appear in our Family Library ... why? Email sent to Developers. Thank you in anticipation Update: a disappointing response from the developers who blame Google for the app not appearing in our Family Library. Yet if I brought the paid for version separately it would do so. Hence do not use the link in the free version to pay for this app.
I'm increasingly impressed by the scale, quality and amount of data in this app. It's mind-blowing: endless fun, especially as my memory is not what It once was. Great to have It to hand... brilliant !
I am a premium user...this app lacks a smooth control... although it has very important information and quite impressive...but you guys have to work more on control.. when i try to zoom out it completely takes out to galaxy and doesn't give a smooth desired planet view
The app itself is AWSOME, but the full screen popup ads make it unusable. Consider buying the paid version, if you need something like this, it's totally worth it.
Is this a joke? I had solar walk 2 a while and loved it, except the ads were annoying, saw a sale for a satellite bundle which also included the ad free package, worked great up until I opened the app today. Why is it reverted to being this "free" version now, it doesn't even open up to the usual sky view and all of these different apps you're selling. What did I pay for? Can someone please explain what is going on...
This a companion app for Star Walk 2 to provide the in-app "In Space" views. However, this app does not install after downloading. Which means you can't get the full functionality from Star Walk 2 which you may have paid for. The Developer's agents are idiots or just crooks and refuse to acknowledge this problem or offer any support. So, beware and don't waste your time or money!
I am using this application since last 2 years but when I switched to my Samsung Galaxy M51 then it's not working in this phone it's keep crashing, some time the data of the app auto cleaned automatically every night so I have to download it daily. Please do something about it. I love this application it's very useful and good for people who have interest in astronomy.
This is a very nice app especially for those who are very much intrested in space exploration. Accept from our solar system, it also has nearby star systems and galaxies like andromeda. It deserves 5 stars but I kept one. This is because I suggest to also work on vr mode in this app in next updates and it will be amazing.
Visually stunning and informative. But I get ads despite paying premium. I'm not the only one clearly, luckily I paid very little but that's pretty crappy to still have ads plugged. Preferred solar walk 1, may even just reinstall it tbh!
I love this game! It's so cool and fun & when I scroll through Outer Space, it really helps me learn about my solar system and much more! (Written and reviewed by my 6 year old daughter)
I am using Samsung Galaxy M 51 and this app is crashing everytime I open and have internet connectivity. Without internet on this app work fine but with few glitches.
Great app with excellent visuals, navigation, etc... love the depth it goes into. Only issue is that some of the planets positions are not accurate enough... For instance, today's (Nov 12th 2020) conjunction of Pluto & Jupiter with Earth... Pluto is in the wrong position so the alignment is not showing unfortunately! Other than that it's great work!
