Love the stickers!!! makes it easy to see all my appointments from the calendar view, or when I have a flight, etc. I can't believe no other calendar apps have thought of this! I'm so sad this app isn't being maintained, I would pay for it! There are literally no other calendar apps with this kind of functionality! It's a little buggy because its an old version but I put up with it for the stickers!! I use one kind for client calls, another for important tasks, another for flights, etc!
I really like SolCalendar, in spite of the fact that it's buggy and hasn't been updated in years. There's a charm and whimsy that's missing from other calendars. I upgraded to 9Pie and the widget stopped working. I can't sync to google calendar or get weather, but I got the widget to work again. Go in and check each event in the actual app for the month you want to view on the widget. If the app crashes when you go to edit the event, delete it and then add it back in again as new. Worked for me.
This used to be the best calendar app. Seems not to be taken care off anymore, unfortunately. An issue was/is the notes that can be highlighted in different colours for a better overview don't get backed up with the colours. I had to reinstall the app and then all notes of the past years looked the same. That's annoying if one wants to find something specific. The same happens if one has the app on different devices. The colours don't sync.
My all time favorite app. I have been using it for years. I have tried other calendar apps but they don't have all the functions this app provides: to do list, repeating event, starting and ending event, notes. Other apps require you to get the premium version which only has something like "end event" feature and normally they don't include a to-do list section. Also, in other apps I have tried, you need to manually repeat an event. So far this app provides all those features for FREE!
I like the ability to export & that the hour doesn't change if you go counter-clockwise with the clock hand. I don't like that I cannot edit one item in a series like I can with my default calendar. I like that it links automatically with my default calendar & pulled in all those events, though I haven't yet checked past events to see if they are present.
This app provides every function needed in a calendar app. Integrates seamlessly with Google calendar, provides several alarm time options, easy to navigate, allows a resizable widget, different color schemes, allows note inclusion and Google maps integration. Includes a "to do" tab. I would rate it a 6 if allowed! Update: Dec 2019. I've used this app for several years, but as technology has advanced, its lack of updates are beginning to impact its functionality. Unfortunately, its time to move
I've used this calendar for a good while now and I've always loved it. However now, the widget doesn't show the correct dates for events though the app itself does if you open it. It also won't connect to my internet connection to be able to sync or show the weather. I've tried contacting support but the email address doesn't work. It's a pity that I'll have to give up using this app but these things are kind of important to me.
I like this app a lot, but it does not give me the option to not have an alarm/notification set automatically. This means I have to set up the appointment, exit the app, then go back and turn off the alert for whatever amount of time it is set for. This app would be a lot nicer if I could just not have to go back and delete the alarm. I would like a no alarm default option. Otherwise, wonderful app!
Absolutely love and am obsessed with this app! The ease of usage and adorable designs is a plus. However, I'm giving it a 4 star because there are frequent issues with the widget where it states 'unable to load widget'. So was quite disappointed for a period but I never did give up. Keep up with the amazing work! But looking forward to more sticker options? 👍
I love this app, been using it for years! I am a visual person so I love having a selection of stickers to include in my events. I didn't give it five stars only because I recently had to re-download the app and I don't have all the stickers anymore!! It's now a much more limited selection, very disappointing. Otherwise I like it very much.
i like how i can customize this calendar. the widget transparency and i love the little icons. if they can just add more please. been having a problem with the colors i choose for events. no matter what i do, it automatically changes it to a default color. i cant customize the colors and make them stay. its been months. please help, how do i fix this? fix this bug please.
I've been using this app for years and I can't find any calendar that comes anywhere close to its design, functionality, and simplicity. I'm so happy they fixed the bug on the widget. This is my one and only calendar/reminder/to do list all-in-one app. I super love it! Thank you for bringing this back! I got so sad at that time when I couldn't find it in the appstore since this is one of my super important apps. This is exactly what I need. Thank u to all the developers! Please continue ☺️
I like everything about this app, SPECIALLY those little stickers that allows us to find what we want quickly. There is a piece that appears on top "could not find the infrmation.......". It has to be deleted EVERYTIME in order for us to see the whole calendar, most annoying. Otherwise, thank you for bringing us this good app.
It's generally effective, but increasingly felting or not saving new appointments after I save them to the calendar. Also would like the stickers, which I use and like, to be smaller. Last suggestion is to increase options for reminders earlier then 24 hours in advance. I routinely use reminder several days before the event scheduled. Good but could be better.
This app works partly. When you pick a color it defaults back to one color. So all events a the same color. Sometimes the app just shut down. You can't add more stickers for different events.
Used to love this calendar app, mainly because I was looking for a calendar app with stickers. However, I recently got a new phone and now I am missing quite a few sticker categories. And the stickers I mostly used are the ones that are missing now. Very disappointed!
Love this calendar app, can't seem to find another one like it because it's a lot more visually pleasing to look at haha! It DEFINITELY needs an update though because I can't use the stickers feature anymore since the new Android update. Been using this since 2016 and I'm hoping I don't have to switch out of it if they update soon!
I have been using this apps for years. I rely on this calendar alerts a lots. Suddenly the apps does not work after a recent updates on my Samsung phone. All of my events disappeared from the apps....I am very upset about this. Could you please fix the problem?
Can see the events from the calender on my phone's home screen just by one glance without the need to select the date to see its details. Lots of cute stickers and marking stickers can be added for symbolical events. You can even sync with Google Calendar! Wonderful app!!
I've used this app for years, but now since the new Android update the 4×5 calendar widget is no longer working. That main reason for getting this app into the first place was for the widget to have my monthly schedule at a glance without loading up the app every time. Disappointed that the creators have essentially abandoned this app with no updates since 2016! Will likely get more and more obsolete as time goes on. So disappointing
I love using the stickers. Great option however I lost some of my stickers when I switched phones and haven't been able to retrieve them. Disappointing. Would be handy to have the option of more stickers.
I have been using Solcalendar for many years and I love it. I've tried other calendar apps and they are all awful compared to this one. However, it desperately needs to be updated to work with the newest versions of Android. This is the best calendar app ever and I would honestly pay for it. Issues I have currently have are that the monthly calendar widget doesn't work, the app crashes when I try to open repeating events or use stickers, and several other issues. Please please please update!!!
