Solid Explorer FTP Server

Does what you need it to do simply, efficiently and securely. Loses 1 star because it could be better Integrated into Solid Explorer than it is (scrolling to the bottom of the app menu and selecting a folder to share, then starting the server is cumbersome and would be better implemented by choosing to share folders from the local operations menu) but it's a godsend for transferring files to and (more significantly) from my phone.

Hi Dev, i have a problem when I'm using ftp and do some operation like copy and etc. When some notification coming from the other app my device got frozen and force rebooted by itself. It's very annoying due every time notification coming my device got frozen and force rebooted My device is ASUS FonePad 8 with 16 GB of internal storage, 128 GB of external storage, 2 GB of RAM, intel processor and running android lollipop

Excellent feature! It allows the owner to set up password, IP, port and a few more options. Works very well in Solid Explorer and is possible to create shortcut on home screen (for those who need). 👍🏻👍🏻

i liked solid explorer after es file manager got suspended. i hope solid explorer have a feature of backup'ing it's user's apps installed/updated does the ES File Manager. can select multiple installed apps to backup, not just view.

Does not work latest version ftp server plugin over wifi hotspot in Android 11 anymore. Please fix this problem.Previous versions of this app on Android 7,8,9 were the best software to send large files. For similar software such as Shareit software

I use it to transfer files between my phone and tablet. But it changes the ip every time, which is inconvenient, please resolve this issue.

FTP server wont start when hotspot is on. Other apps on the play store use hotspots ip for ftp server, but thats not an option here

@Redmi 5A It does what it says. And probably better than using Redmi drop as in can have file manager and FTP server in one app.

Why can't OTG USB be the destination file? Other FTP server android app can do this.

Reviewers who say you cannot upload or delete are incorrect. You can do both of these actions from any computer-based file explorer. For example, in Windows Explorer, simply type "ftp://" followed by your server address.

Perfect for transferring files that got corrupted (0 byte file size) when using Android MTP. -1 star for causing me to waste several hours finding out why it wouldn't work with FileZilla / FireFTP (simple undocumented solution: don't use 'ftp://' - just the IP address)
