I have tried many Solitaire games and this is one of my favourites. Nice graphics with smooth game play. The only issue I seem to have is sometimes the cards make a noise and sometimes they don't, I'm not sure if this is by design or a bug. Also it would be great if you could put an option in to disable the auto play features. Changes I would like to see: 1. On screen game play time in seconds 2. Move the Auto Complete button so that I don't accidentally press undo.
Frankly, this is an awesome app. Been playing it for years. But for some reason, in the past year, I've only been able to win 1 game. I'm not sure if something has changed. Out of 180 recent games I only have like 25 wins. On my tablet with a different version I am able to win every other game. Idk why or what has change. Otherwise, this is incredibly smooth and fun. Still, idk why I'm having such bad lock. Always getting stuck with only like 8-10 u flipped cards and no moves. Weird.
It's fine. The auto complete & new game buttons are tiny, didn't even see them at first. The hints are horrific! Nothing that helps u win the game, just different places to move the cards to, very strange. There are lots of options for the cards, backgrounds, etc. I don't win nearly as much as I did with an ad version. When u tap the cards there's no indication that it registered the tap, unless there's somewhere for the card to go, then it goes & the timer starts before u even touch the cards
For years I have played the add version. Recently I moved to the paid version to get rid of the adds. The game plays well, even on my old nexus 7. I like the undo button and use it a lot to see how I can get the game finished. That's how I got to 28.7% success rate on 30,000+ games played. Probably a record from all angles. Only the hints given by the game are totally useless. Because of the position next to the undo button, I occasionally press it in error. I would prefer if they'd remove it.
Before purchasing or downloading any app I always look at the reviews and I saw quite a few complaining about how they couldn't win any games. So, I bought it and lost the first five, but I always enjoy a good challenge. I suggest for those of you who want to win without trying to solve a puzzle or maybe solitare is too complicated for you, maybe try pokemon go or giga pets. I haven't found any bugs or glitches, it hasn't crashed, etc. What I enjoy most aside from a good challenge is no ads!
For the most part I love the game, however, knocking off one star as the auto fill button is in a bad spot - where the back button is and it's easy to click on the control bar and hit back instead of auto fill. And that gets real annoying real fast. I also wish that you can select the number of the hand so that you can go through all of them in order if you want.
This is an okay-ish version of the game. There are no ads so that's a plus. I'm surprised in statistics that it doesn't show a best score comparison. It is also slow in responding to mouse clicks and when the timer is running it runs over after the game is actually finished, so you don't get an accurate time result. 4/22/19 update: I got some canned response to my review that did not address the issues I mentioned above. As such I've changed my review to one star instead of 2.
Once again, developers forgot the saying " If it works, don't fix it!"... and have trashed an adequate app with all their new animated card movements. And to top it all off, the latest " downgrade" was installed on my cell phone without my knowledge or permission! Why? This was an app I enjoyed, even though their timing functions were goofed up, I could disregard that. But now (even though they purport to have "10 million" downloads), I'll have to continue my search for a professional app.
Less is more😎😋😎, but it seems the game punishes me for not making the next computerized move! Since when is there only ten moves in a deck of cards, if I make a mistake many times the next few cards and its over. Also when i win it seem I win easily for several games and then there's a losing streak. And it happens a lot winning streak, then losing! One time i got it up to 2500 points and kept that intermittent session going for a week. More of those please.😎😁😎
If you're looking for the most simple (yet polished) version of 1 or 3 card draw Solitaire that doesn't contain ads, then this is it. There's no in-app purchases (not sure why Google thinks there is) and it doesn't even connect to your Google Play Games profile. The only permission I've seen it ask for is access to photos/media (so you can add pics to the background), but it stopped asking me on the 3rd time I opened the app. It's a shining example of what I wish more apps were like.
It's great. The only shortcoming is that it doesn't tell you when there are no more effective moves, and doesn't make far ranging suggestions. Those features would help improve my learning curve since I could study options and anticipate similar situations in the future.
The game play is perfect & no advertisements to annoy the player. I love the customizable card backs and the ability to switch between portrait and landscape. I do wish they would have included other games that are typically included with solitaire, like free cell or spider solitaire. Worked great on my Galaxy S7 Edge and continues to work great on my Galaxy S20 Ultra. Long live "Solitaire+".
Perfect! Everything I wanted in a solitaire app with no annoyances. The graphics are slick and modern. The touch interface works without issue. Worth paying for to be free of mobile game annoyances and just concentrate on simple solitaire.
I have time on my hands obviously and don't like most other games so play Solitare. However, if I could suggest to the developers a modification : when you finish and the cards start 'flying/flipping' back to the stack it JUST TAKES TOO LONG and I usually exit or tap new game. Cute visual but speed it up or give the option to avoid it.
Good game, could be great. I picked this game because I was sick of being shown loud intrusive adverts constantly on the more popular free games. Graphics are smooth, and look nice. The achievements are cute . However, the 'hints' are pretty poor as they don't progress game play, and you're not told when you've run out of useful moves. Also, there doesn't seem any recognition for top score in a standard game - 745 appears to be the highest you can get, but there's no star beside it?
it's almost like the cards play against you as the game is in play. Key cards regularly become impossible to get to and the more you play, the more obvious it seems. I'd like to see an option for changing skill levels for more satisfying casual play.
Under options different levels of play should be added. Game ridiculously frustrating as it is far too difficult to win. Easy, medium, hard levels a must. Playing Solitaire for fun not failure... otherwise I prefer a REFUND.
Yes, it's numerically random, so you're not going to win as much, but nor do you have to watch ads for games that you are not going to play. I've selected a photo of a painting my friend from South Africa did. So I don't have to figure out why different deck designs are in the game!
I love the background choices as well as the deck options. I haven't been able to change how the cards play out when you win, that's a bummer. Absolutely worth the price, the ads in th other games are unbelievable.
Lose 1 star for stats. Clean interface, but no option to turn stats off and they appear after every game. I hope they are not being reported back to Branium. ps thanks for reply, glad no data being gathered. rather than resetting stats I just don't want to see them. I play the game to relax, not compete or compare.
Good Solitaire version. Getting close to the old windows Solitaire only better looking. However there small 2 points of criticism: 1) The timer starts immediately after a new game. It should only start after touching the first card. 2) The timer does not reset if you replay a game - which it should.
Game is fine, but would prefer an option with larger size or bold card values. Hard to see small thin font on cards. Update. Still doesn't work. No menu comes up when I touch anywhere other than a card. Full screen mode on an S10+. Bug?
Great game. Very responsive and no silly stuff. Thanks for a great design. One suggestion about the side up controls often i hit the phone's back button instead of the undo. Could the controls slide down from top instead.
I have played this game many many times over the years and contacted the developers more than once about the low win factor and heard the same response as others about their randomisation. To be fair I have persisted again and again but the game is not enjoyable. Bad mistake by the developers. If you cannot enjoy the game it is not worth keeping. I am deleting it for the final time.
I did not buy this game so I could rack my brain as if solving the problems of the world. I bought this game to relax and enjoy myself in a somewhat mindless state. A place where I did not have to endure the ads of the otherversions of this game. Every game I have played in this paid version has ended in a blockade. That happened rarely in my years of playing off and on. I have refunded.
Having an app without ads is great. But part of me is still almost willing to put up with them to have a few old, familiar features back. Next move suggestions and notice of no more winning moves.
Love this rendition of Solitaire! Still would like to see an option in settings to be able to relocate "Auto Complete" to lower left corner. I miss seeing it appear when playing right handed.
