I absolutely love this solitaire city app!!! BUT the BIG disappointment was when I changed my type of phone, it would play but then I started having a lot of image errors and I would have to close out and restart. If you would fix this I would love that, because I can not find any app that I like compared to solitaire city. PLEASE, PLEASE FIX IT!!!
Great graphics, several nice options for playing card styles, good hint system if there's a legal move you just can't find one your own, and a good ol' fashioned "Yahoo!" to celebrate a victory. While the are other good solitaire games out there that show ads, I personally don't mind paying a bit for an ad-free game experience. A great way to escape when you need to pass the time and you have had your fill of news.
Whilst I have heard of Klondyke as a place somewhere in North America , I have no idea why solitaire has this title . The game is the same as I have seen and played in many different countries , a fantastic time wasting game that I and countless other world citizens enjoy. This version is great , I did have an earlier version but that became so predictable it was not worth the effort after a while. This version is far more realistic , it mirrors the hand dealt game far more closely , I love it.
It's a satisfying experience. The graphics are attractive and the interface works smoothly. I turned off the rather lame sound effects. ( Fireworks and a big ole' " Yaaaaaaaahoooo!!!!" ) I mean come on guys. We're talkin' 'bout solitaire.... If you're looking for a good looking, smooth running solitaire game, look no further.
I love this game. I bought the premium version even though Free Cell is the only game I play. (I might branch out when I retire.) Game play is smooth. I've played it on Samsung S3, S4, S8+, S9+, Note 3, 4, 8, 9 & 10+, Note 20 & Nexus 6p. It's worked flawlessly on every phone. I contacted support when I changed phones once to get help with updating to the premium version I'd purchased. The response was FAST & effective. I'm a fan. Money well spent! I've been using it for years. Still loving it!
Pay for the no ads! It is totally worth it- I paid for this game ad free in 2010 (I think???) and even though I've had many many phones (and phone numbers) since then I can always restore my purchases. This is the first app I put on any phone I get. I like the various games also that you get when you pay for no ads and the fact that you can do different rules.
It was a 5 until the latest update. Now i can't end games or start new ones unless i shut down the app. Then when it reopens i have to choose a card set again, and I get an error that says "Sorry, but you can't play Solitaire City unless you select a valid Hi-Scores file" but I can't figure out how to do that.
This had been my go to solitaire application for many years. It started having issues on Android 12, but I could get around those issues. The developer started making updates and now it's becoming completely unusable. Even is the next update?
Game is fun and challenging except when it deletes my stats and starts over as though it is a new game. I find this very frustrating and am ready to delete it and find a different solitaire game.
Great, straightforward Solitaire app that lets you turn off silly flashy distractions. I had to discount a star because it asked me to rate it, saying good ratings would encourage development. Um... it hasn't been updated since 2017. Love the app, really. But I fear it's starting to evidence bugs. I hope it does get updated.
Out of countless card game apps, this is probably the best. I like the variety of different games, and each game has several ways it can be played. An enjoyable way to pass time. Furthermore, the app has never frozen up or misbehaved in any way, unlike so many other game apps I have tried. Highly recommended.
Used to love this app that I paid for, but with my new Samsung S22 Solitaire City keeps crashing on me. Digital Smoke, if it still exists, needs to upgrade this game. When not crashing this is the best game. No other solitaire app has as many games s this one.
I really enjoyed playing this site's SPIDER SOLITAIRE, w/o being bombarded w/ads! Now that I've won several games, playing solo, no other interaction, (only way I play) the next deal will be full of the same cards, Ex; 4 x A's or All the 2's come up with in two or three moves!! NO MORE MOVES comes up fast when that happens! No Fun when there aren't moves to be made as early as the 2nd deal of cards! ☹ s.calvert
I like your app, especially that we can add are own background, makes playing the game more enjoyable, although the games are not always easy, and that makes it more of a challenge, thank you.🥰🤗👍
Every game or 2 the game gets glitchy and starts to kinda flash with every move made. Get black rectangles top right & bottom left. Have cleared cache. Don't wanna reinstall and lose everything again
Solitaire City has been my go to for Solitaire since it was first on the PC. It's a great selection of games. My only complaint is that it crashes after I charge my phone, so I have to restart the app for it to work. It has been doing this for about 6 months. It was fine before an update about 6 months ago.
Especially lke that I can turn over the cards myself instead of them automatically flipping. Not many games allow that. Like that there is a "show" feature", pause and a warning that there are no moves left. Great game.
Overall good app, I would buy the ad free version if the custom background feature worked. Everytime I pick an image from my gallery it closes the app while processing. Probably could use an update since phones have advanced a lot as of 2017.
Best basic solitude app. I've tried many solitude apps and this is my favorite. Instructions are clear, program works flawlessly, very user-friendly, and even has amusing comments. Free version ads are not too numerous and are generally relatively short.
Used to be great but now the ad banner at the bottom of the screen actually blocks the view of cards when the stack gets to the bottom of the screen. Basically unplayable. Hope they fix it soon.
I love the app especially the Double Solataire game. But I too have been experiencing glitches, frozen screen, cards moving without me touching the screen. Please fix this. Please. I love this game and miss playing it.
Love the way this app works. Dont love the ads or lack of access without purchase. Purchased it two weeks ago and this week the darn thing quit working. But good news...APPARENTLY Google does keep records of purchases so you can re-download for free your previous purchases.
On my wife's Galaxy S9 the app many times launches to a black screen. It appears to be a problem with Game Tools that is a Samsung app that came with the phone and I hate it. Also when the app launches it does not fill the whole screen like it does on my S7.
The graphics, the sounds, the fluidity, Solitaire City is by far the best solitaire game money can buy (and It"s free!!). I've been playing it for more than 8 years now, and counting. 🙂
No fun anymore. Game used to be really good but something has changed and now it's almost impossible to win. The cards are very often three or more the same and its rigged in such away that you can only win one game out of 20 or 30. In have no idea why you guys changed it. Not cool.
Wonderful selection of solitaire games with lots of variations for added challenges. Graphics are nice and clear and I've never experienced any problems. Well worth getting the full version
Great graphics, super layout and functions! Thank You! Also, if you want a very well designed Solitair program this is it, no foo-foo stuff here. One of the best thought-out, layout programed entertainment game available.
Used to be great but the developer refuses to answer emails now and the game on Android has been a wreck since the last Android update. Just turning the phone on it's side crashes it and if you try and add a new background you can get all the way to save and then it won't save; you have to just force close it. July 2019. I'm not sure what's happened as there's been no update but suddenly it's working perfectly again in portrait mode. maybe an update to Android has fixed it. but I'm happy anyway
