Solitaire MegaPack

Back when apps came in free and paid versions I paid for this app and enjoyed it for years. Then one day it suddenly had ads and wanted $40! to get rid of them. What a slap in the face. They didn't even add new content, it's the same app, just uglier. And if it had been another $5 or even $10 I probably would have just paid. But $40 is ridiculous, especially for something I already paid for! Uninstalled. There are better options these days.

Now, to add insult to injury, today I get an ad asking me to subscribe for the ad free version..grrrrrr 😡😡😡 Have had this app for years, had the ad-free version. After the recent update, I am now bombarded with ads every time! I e-mailed support weeks ago to complain, and I've been totally ignored. If this is how you treat your loyal players, then you deserve all the one star reviews you're getting 😡 Wish I could give it zero stars. Which is a shame as I've loved playing for so long.

It *is* a good game, and for years I have found it highly enjoyable. UNTIL... Ads. So very many ads. Now, that was why I'd gotten the premium version. Now, however, even in the paid version, the ads are back with a vengeance. Most ridiculous, however, is the asking for $40 to remove them. It is a good game, but it is totally not that good.

Overall, a GREAT SOLITAIRE app, with a wide variety of games. Compete against others, against yourself, or just to play. Intuitive interface with many options to customize to your play style.The subscription is steep, but they're working on the ads. Noisy ads that hijack audio should be reported. Contacted the developers directly and a real person worked with me to help resolve my issues.

I have had this app for years. As a solitaire pack, it has everything you could ask for: lots of games, good customization, hints, autoplay, nice sound effects (not too annoying) and a great interactive fireworks display when you win. I love it so much. BUT. The ad-free version was originally a few dollars, then they sold the game and it went up to $20, NOW apparently $40, which is simply ludicrous. The game has not changed & there is no reason for such a price hike. Boo 👎 I used to recommend this game highly, but no more. I can't encourage friends to pay $40 for a solitaire game.

I payed for this Solitair Megapack years ago, got a new phone and installed it, and now it has ads and wants me to pay (a ridiculous amount of money), and when I contacted them about it said I am SOL. Would not reccomend for the price or the ads scrolling constantly at the top and/or bottom of the app. Uninstalling it.

Paid version is very enjoyable to use - no ads no annoying gamification stuff. Had to reach out to their support team to get my paid license reactivated - from about 9 years ago. However, they were responsive and took care of it.

Years ago I had the pro version (bought for $3.99 - not $30 like you're asking now!!!!) Unfortunately I uninstalled it at some point when I changed phones. Now there's a 30 second ad after every game. Why don't you curb your greed and offer this ad-free again for a few dollars? As it is, you're tanking what USED to be a really great Solitaire app.

Gotta edit my review from a 5 to a 1. This WAS the best solitaire game set ever, but no way in hell will I put up with your new SOUND VIDEO ADS interrupting! Get rid of those ads or I'm gone. ALSO, do I sense that I've been playing the same deals over and over? Edit 3-29-22: Enough! You're dumped.

This was a really good game, but the ads have made it unplayable now. It plays tiny videos at the top of the screen with sound, and you can mute the sound but as soon as that ad finishes and the next one starts the sound is back on. This isn't between games, it's during the game. I've never run into an app that has ads with sound while actually using the functioning part of the app. Not to mention the ads have used 615 megs of my data since Nov.

This app used to play a video ad after finishing a game and have a banner on the top of the screen. Now it plays audio ads while I'm playing the game. I normally buy apps to avoid ads but they want 40$ for it. If you don't have an ad blocker I would not recommend this app. Edit: also I'm pretty sure I already paid to remove ads on this app a long time ago. I read in other reviews that others have done the same and it reminded me of that. Must be under new ownership.

Like many others listed below, I had to change my 5 star rating to a 1. I paid for ad free and now there are ads and they want me to pay $40 to remove ads?! I get it, they want to make money, but you can't charge the people who already paid a certain price! I sure hope the people who pay the $40 don't get screwed later when they bring the ads back! Disappointed, it was a great game. **Tried using it again and ignore the ads I already paid to remove and now it plays loud banner ads at the top 😭

Updated. Don't download. Ads have gone from banners, to silent videos to blaring video ads that you can't avoid and which HIJACK THE AUDIO OF YOUR PHONE and that in 1 out of 4-5 games?? Wow! I've finally found the cure for putting off work! The worst part is that when I started playing (in the late Jurassic), I was impressed by the variety & wanted to encourage the designers. So I paid (pocket change). At some point, they decided to forget that part. Now it's $40? Done? Oh yeah.

You need to fix the woodoku ad. No matter where you press it takes you to the play store. Also quit adding more ads. It started with one a day and keeps increasing.

Would give minus five if I could! Used to play all the time, I loved the games, even paid for ad free. Now the ads are back, are obnoxious, and have rediculous volume that you can not turn off. Now they expect you to pay $39.99 to turn the adds off. Paid once, never again, bad business!! No thanks, uninstalling!!!

Why are the ads on top now constantly with audio? They play in the middle of my game which means they play while I am listening to audiobooks or music. I can't get through one single Solitaire game without having my book cut off 3 or 4 times. If this keeps up I'm going to have to find another Solitaire game, and I have used this game for many years. In fact, I think it's the first game I ever put on any phone or tablet.

I understand the need for ads but in-game banner ads that hijack phone audio even if you silenced the last one that played basically render the game unusable now. I also already paid for the ad-free version a few versions ago but doesn't matter it just updated to an ad version so I absolutely don't trust paying any more money at this point. UPDATE: forwarded my receipt for the ad-free version i purchased to the contact email address and it immediately bounced back as an invalid address, AVOID.

Updated 2/22: I've been playing this app since my first phone. Even after all those years, this is still my go-to game. This other issue with the ads has been resolved to my satisfaction quite some time ago. **** Not happy about ads. I paid for the premium 'no ads' version. What happened?

Love this game app but it keeps sending me back to the play store. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars. Removed the game sorry to say. Update: it's still doing the same thing

UPDATED REVIEW: For years this was my favorite game. No more. Now it is virtually unplayable. Either Google Play or the developers hold it hostage with constant, highly intrusive ads with irritating noise, unless you pay a $40 ransom. I originally paid for an ad-free version of this game. Greatly disappointed that the developers reneged on their agreement and turned it into a terrible experience. I am deleting this app and recommend you not install it.

Audio ads! Used to be great - has a rare version of solitaire that's hard to find. Paid for the game years ago but started getting ads anyway. As of this week, audio ads come on during gameplay - they don't all even have mute buttons. Sadly, uninstalling after at least five years.
