Solve the Outbreak
Do you quarantine the village? Interview people who are sick? Run more lab tests? The better your answers, the higher your score
- and the quicker you’ll climb the ranks to become a decorated Disease Detective. In level 1, you’ll start out as a Trainee and can earn badges by solving scenarios, with the goal of earning the top rank: Disease Detective.
Unlock Level 2 by mastering all 12 outbreaks. Then earn honors by solving new and more challenging scenarios. Earn recognitions like Surveillance Honors and Treatment Honors.
New outbreaks happen every day, and CDC's Disease Detectives are on the front lines, working 24/7 to save lives and protect people. When a new outbreak happens, Disease Detectives are sent in to figure out how the outbreak started before it spreads further.

The idea of this app is great! But the formatting is bad. Some text is off the screen and there is no way to see it, some answers cannot be selected, and you have to scroll in a tiny box of one line of text. If these things are fixed, it will be much better!
It's hard to read the clues. My phone screen is huge, so I don't know why there's only 1 visible line of text... It would be better if I could read them in a pop out like how they show the graphs and data. It's really interesting though.
It's a great app. It would be nice if it was continously updated with added features, cases & educational information.

I have wainted for a long time for this app to come out in Android form. This game is totally addicting and fun!

Love the app content, but the questions are in a tiny scrolling window which is difficult to read. If they enlarged it then I would give it 5 ☆'s! Also the bottom choices are cut off & I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that has a large screen area.
Was downloaded b7y my brother as a prank because I'm squeamish about medical stuff. I actually am enjoying it.

I use CDC Solve Outbreak in my teaching and it's a great way to engage the students while they learn about outbreak investigation.
The game is fun to play and interesting. I like the follow up on the real outbreaks that inspired the game outbreaks.

Great idea, terrible formatting I think I would really enjoy this game, as I'm extremely interested in epidemiology and infectious disease. The clues are difficult to scroll, and the answers are cut off. I had to guess what the bottom line or 2 might be and just hope I was right. Update the UI, and this might be a really great game.
