Song Key Finder
This little helper can be used to identify the key a song is in via several methods:
* Analysing live music via the devices's microphone
* Analysing a local audio file on the device
* A set of user-entered chords
All analysis is performed locally on the device, so doesn't eat through your data allowance.
The results of a scan can then be saved to be referred to later if required.
If there is a song that changes key part way through, on the song detail page you can enter the chords, or analyse via the microphone while you play that part of the song.

ive been using this to sing my own songs into to see what notes and key my voice register, it was correct at the key. for this reason alone I would buy it, except... if you use the function for adding chords/notes/keys sections, there is no way to change or add a key without it being placed at the end. So if you messed up the first (like me) you have to delete and re add everything to get your order back. Make some changes here and i'd donate. not used it for known songs so cant comment.
This app is great! Although, I have noticed when I use it on The Blues, it almost always says the song is in a minor key, when I KNOW it isn't. But it works. I simply ignore the 'minor' when it's the Blues.
This app is super-great. I love this app. It finds the key to your natural voice when singing.. if you are finding it difficult finding the key to any voice on piano, guitar or any other instrument this app will help you find it within seconds.. great app thanks...
Even though it does get confused at times (it seldom does so), this app is GREAT! If it doesn't get your song right at the first time, just turn off the mic and turn it back on and it'll probably get it right.
Suprisingly super accurate. I played it some songs I know the key of and it guessed correctly on every try with the live audio function. Good stuff. Can't wait to utilize this app in live jam sessions.
This app is good when a piece of song is written in one scale.. For example song Tum ho (rockstar) Ar rahman this app shows it's in key of C major/A minor but the song is in F major it does not handle situations where songs changes it's key.. For the effort for this app thumbss up but it should be correct always
Love how simple the App is and how the Results are very transparent. If you'd give me the option to show the notes of the scale, I could immediately start playing. ^^
Sometimes it will scan for a while and provide accurate info. Other times it freezes up in 3 to 5 sends and has not completed a long enough scan to provide acrurate results. App has only 3.8 stars so I am looking for something better.
I really love the app and its really helpful. But its failing to read mp3 files from the SD card. Please fix that.
The "Scan Live" function doesn't work at all. I played a song that I know it's in C major so I can test the accuracy and the app said it's F minor so yeah it's useless.
Works ok for about 15 minutes then dies, not very accurate. The details are that it does not always show the correct key and after about 15mins it doesn't register anything.
Does not work. The key detection when it acts doesn't freeze is always off or bounces around so frequently it's just not reliable
The app works as design only in few cases it's not accurate as other wise it's a good app for those who want to install this app I recommend that they should have a real instrument for confirmation of keys that way you can enjoy using it
The app works fine and its accurate. But the UI could be more "modern looking".
App is good, and each it says the song is in a minor key, jus know that it means the song is a major one step lower.. A minor=G major
Doesn't work on chromebook, I really liked the app on my phone but doesn't work on my new chromebook... I request the developer s to please update it so that it works on chromebooks
I put 7 surr in diffrent scales but this app can't reconginse any scale accuratly!!👎
This app is great. It takes 5-10 seconds to find the key, but it sure is accurate!

Lol.. This app is a joke, ever since i downloaded it its been giving me wrong keys to every song, like the bruno mars when i was your man, the song is on c major but the app keeps saying A minor. I laugh

Was five stars but in last month or so it just freezes and doesn't give me key info....i tried multiple restarts or several l weeks
The app is incorrect since it scans the starting point as the original key and not the exact original key

Chord detection should also be provided along with the scale detection!!!!
I'm sorry but I just could not figure this app out. It may be a good app as far as transposing and such but with no guidance as how to take the desired song and transpose it into a workable key it was just to complicated to do. I just wanted to be able to play the song and have the app transpose it one key up or down and the touch of a finger until I found the key that was right for me. Never got that done.
