SongbookPro

A rare gem. I have tried MANY apps...paid and free. Wasted more than a fair share of money, only to find there is always that one little thing that is lacking. Until I discovered SongbookPro. It is easy to set up, easy to use, great online editor, and easy to sync between multiple devices. The in-app editor is a bit clunky when you quickly need to edit a song at the gig, but other than that the app is perfect. Running both Android and iOS versions.

It's exactly what I was looking for. Wish there were more search engines though for looking for songs. Once I figured the softare out it came quite easy. It is good to see the updates coming so frquently! The only issue that I have found is trying to link into SongBook Pro Manager. I sent a request some time ago to see if there were any issues but to date have not received any answer. All in all it is quite a good software!!!

It saves a lot of paper but as usual,most songs are not completely correct, that being said,once you correct it,it's all good 👍 and it is also a great tool,I play hundreds of songs and can never think of what's next, this thing is a library,you customize for yourself,and add to. Once the tab and chord charts are corrected,which is no fault of the developers,I'm finding this app indispensable.

It is perfect. Simple as that. What ads? I see none. I am a musician, have my own band, our song list is 100+ songs and growing. I group my songs in 30+ sets, simple. Look for a song? Need words? Keys? Takes minutes. Put originals in? Again no problem. To say this program is worth every penny is an understatement of all understatements.

I am upgrading a previous review of this app. I have come to understand some of the edit functions and capabilities better. My main frustration is the edit screen font is so small. I know this is meant to be edited via a computer keyboard but it makes it very difficult to edit from the screen. Another frustration not to do with songbook pro exactly but with ultimate guitar where I get a lot of my files. I guess the files are uploaded by amateur musicians because some of them are laughably wrong

This app allows me to make notes on digital music real time in jams and rehearsals, just like on paper music. So I can just bring my tablet, and don't have to lug a huge notebook of songs around. There are many more features than I would ever learn, being quite technically challenged. But I love the features I do use. Well worth the time to download and learn.

Great app and recommended however editing is tricky and a little intricate to begin with. Song scrolling is a major pain and very difficult to nail down. I'm assuming it calculates a scrolling rate from the song bpm's and duration? All in all I would thoroughly recommend whilst hoping for some future scrolling modifications.

Best set list app. Was using Guitartapp Pro but they stopped updating. This does it all. I have had some issues with screen rotation, sometimes the screen won't come on and I have to turn the device to wake up the screen but it is still the best app.

Excellent app. Very flexible in the ability to control scroll speed, key change, ability to make notes and instructions either by typing or using a stylus. Enter lyrics and chords or just download songs. Color highlights only add to the many options. Love it.

This an amazing app for sorting and organizing your music collection, you can build custom chord charts and import PDFs of all your physical sheel music. Once your music is imported you can quickly and easily organize it into sets for performing. I also love that it has pen support for my tab s7. Best $10 I ever spent.

This is by far the best app for organising and uploading my songs any developing sets. Downside is the lack of search capability. E.g. no key word search by title, and tat you can't tag more than one songsheet at a time. No multi tagging in the app I am still loving this app and just couldn't do without it.

This is the perfect app for keeping music and songs together. Previously I used tocarry round an enormous file with around 200 songs, now I have them on an 8 inch tablet that fits in my guitar case. Also, the developer is constantly improving the app, and very responsive to suggestions - although it's very difficult to think of anything that's missing. Overall, brilliant.

This app is amazing and I'm super impressed with the design and usability. So useful for gigging musicians. Loooove that I can import tabs and lyrics directly, and the transpose feature saves so much time. Seriously, whoever designed this took a lot of time thinking about layout and the features you would use most. Haven't found anything I don't like yet. Thank you!

SongBookPro, Great App. It does what we want it to do. Everyone in my band uses it and i have recommended it to other musicians. There are some things about the app that could use some improvement, but I am sure that with the timely fixes, updates, and new features that I see, this app will evolve to be a number one musicians app if not already.

I like how it works, but I am having issues with personalization. I have an android device and I am unable to erase some of the underlining. Customer service has not been helpful and they have been unresponsive. I am very frustrated!

I'm an acoustic guitar player. Songbook Pro is awesome! Download lyrics and chords, organize, and create sets, and customize everything to your style. It's a must have app for any level of musician!

I've found Song Book Pro to be really helpful in respect to helping me to develope my musical ability.....the lyrics, cords and information available with the downloads just makes the whole music experience very smooth flowing, encouraging and beneficial.

For years I've been looking for an android alternative to a similar iOS app most of us use. This is it!!! I use it every Sunday for our worship services and love how easy it is to use. Intuitive and simple to use. And completely love the desktop integration. I use it to sync songs to the device easily. Add the ability to import from planning center online and its gold! Kudos to the dev team. 👏

Was looking for a scrolling prompter to use for lyrics and chords but this has so much more! I pasted my lyrics with chord letters above - not only does it recognise those lines as chords but also figures out what key it is in and shows you chord charts - fantastic!

Really like your app. First decent Android app I've seen. I received an extremely quick response from the developer when I mentioned a feature I would like. I'm impressed. Another feature that would be nice is to be able to see the key in the song/set list and when you link an mp3 stored on the tablet to keep the link and not have to keep looking it up everytime I want to play a long with it.

Overall it's pretty good----but with certain items it does what it wants to without any logic or simplicity in which to fix it. Certain things make no sense and I'm not able to work around. Why does most everything I text for a song end up being totally different after I save it? Many changes I make in text will appear totally different as if there's a ghost in the software. I've invested a lot of time in this software but I will be looking for something a bit easier to accomodate my needs.

I have been using Songbook Pro for about a month or so. I have uploaded hundreds of songs and accompanying music,. The filing system makes finding songs fast and easy. The ability to attach the music to the song is priceless. I can arrange a setlist, pull up the song and start the music with a few keystrokes. Addinga foot pedal makes multipage song sheets easy to scroll without taking my hands off my guitar. It's a great app for both solo playing and just for practice. Time well spent. Buy it.

Don't waste your time like I did. I spent a lot of time adding a bunch of our songs, first turning them into PDF's. We filed our paper music sheets, and I trained everyone how to use the app, which is wonderful if it works. The app was working great, then all of a sudden just quit syncing to other devices. I didn't change anything on my end. I wrote customer service over a month ago and many times since. I left a comment on their Facebook page. No response! Such bad customer service.

Very streamlined and intuitive UI. Excellent app for maintaining a personal curated list of tabs and song sheets. Rendering of song sheets is clean and attractive. Importing tabs from Ultimate Guitar and editing them is very easy. This app seems more geared for individual use, so if it's important to you to be able to sync the chord sheets to everyone in your band and turn pages simultaneously, this may not be the app for you. However, you can send song sheets to other users easily.

It is usable but I have to overlook some really annoying bugs. For example when I am using the Song Manager - via computer to create songs it works but moving the songs to folders just doesn't get through and when I get back to app, I don't see the songs in the folder where I moved them to. Interestingly, sometimes it does. On the other hand, when I synchronize my songs to cloud and I switch to a different device, songs might or might not get synced. Sometimes they do. Having this from a free app would be fine, but I have higher expectations here.
