Songify’s unique songification technology was invented by Smule to turn speech into music and is not the same as Antares Auto-Tune, which does not work on speech.

Permission: READ PHONE STATE AND IDENTITYReason: We use this to create a unique identifier for each device so we can keep track of the coin balance and songs each user has purchased and re-instate current purchases if he or she deletes the app and re-installs. We are currently evaluating other options for this to see if there is a way to offer the same functionality without requiring this.

Has a bug where it keeps trying to open Google play or something even when you're not using it
Very fun idea and I love the Gregory Brothers but the voice quality is really poor for songified audio clips. It's hard to understand what the person was saying once songified. You have to have a deeper voice and speak slowly, clearly for this to be effective. Also, I don't see a way to import an existing video as source for the voice.
My sister has this on her cell phone it works great on your iPhone but for my android it doesn't want to work at all I enjoyed very much when I play around with it on her phone but I can't even get it to work at all so therefore I can't enjoy on my android. I race is a 0 star for the Android but on my sisters phone her iPhone I will rated 4 star because it is a fun and could be very funny at times app
Really fun app. Songs posted to Fb or Twitter also go on a page where Songify users can vote for them. If you don't want yours out in the open you can remove it. It could use a filter though (on the "Winning" page) as people post things inappropriate for children or those easily offended. Fun app. The winnning board is also fun.
Just makes you sound like a bad stupid robot with bad background song really really badly. The "top songs" that are listed.... Well you can't understand any of them as the robot Voices it changes it to don't even make any sense at all. The app is not worthless
Why there is no live mode. Did you people tried your app anytime. It is useless. I can not record any thing in proper way and nothing comes good. I used this app in apple and it was so good but in Android no live mode. Made it a horrible experience. I am wondering if you promoting apple iOS rather Android. If not please make a app that can be used someway.
I had this on my HTC Thunderbolt back in the day. Loved it. So installed it on my Samsung S7. Record what I have to say, press the button top stop, it crashes, EVERY time, tried reinstalling, same thing, reinstalled one more time, no change. Gave up. Does not appear to work on either most of Samsung devices or all of them based on other comments.
This application for cellular devices has made my everyday gabble into interesting melodies, it has made my life worth living again and I no longer wish to wrap a rope around my child's neck and hip. Thank you songify for helping me find my wife and god, I found a love in my cat Brutus and was distraught when it was eaten by a pigeon with aids
This app used to be my absolute favorite app. My entire family would use it and have a great family-bonding time. We enjoyed the fact that we could make our own songs for free. Now this app fails to give us that enjoyment. It will still make great songs, but as soon as you exit the app, the song no longer plays or shares. I tried everything to fix it. I updated the app, shut down and restarted my phone, and checked The FAQ site. Please fix this app so everyone may enjoy it once again.
Really fun app but when it gets boring you can't even buy songs with actual money. Earning coins is just stupid and a waste of time, I'd much rather pay a dollar or something to get songs. Do that and I'd give 5 stars
When you start out on the app you get literally 1 song (double rainbow). The app then "encourages" you to get coins by installing other apps... There needs to be some other way to get coins, regeneration of whatever this method is lame and not everyone can afford the space, and that leaves you with only 1 song to use which is annoying and there is no way to use just autotune so be prepared to sound strange when put with a random song. update songs added now I'll rate 2 stars.
Every time I talk /sing to any of the songs my voice seems so high you literally cant hear what Im saying. Itried talking as low as I could but it still turned out unaudiable. Id like to give this 5 stars but I can't because of that.
Resetting your phone or getting a new one will mean losing songs and coin. I wish this would be clearly stated but it isn't. My advice, pay 5-10$ (or use free features) at a time and consider that like buying a beer or going to a movie, someday what you bought will be gone forever but you got enjoyment out of it. (I did contact their support with the receipt and I was told a recovery was impossible. Still they offered to compensate me by giving me a credit on one of their others apps.)
This app crashes when it loads, it hurts more than falling on roads, asking for a set browser, I have one don't be evil like bowser. I want this app but now I'm sad, fix it so that I am forever glad. Huawei accent on the wei, P10 is the model I would say, Android obviously this is Play, chrome default browser every day.
It's really crap because when your out of tune or not at the write timing or sound bad like a baboons bum, you can't adjust the sound system. Also when your typing a title for a song you can't have the word "can't" in it. I'm going to delete this app write this very senond:-P
Well this app sounds pretty much like a great laugh. Update: This app is pretty fun and a musing, I love how you can take any voice good or bad and God even horrible. And it makes you sound halfway decent so for me to them up :-) ;-)
This can be fun to play with but I find it sad that with a certain amount of time after you saved your songified songs, it won't light up blue and play in you saved songs section. That's why I put 4 stars instead of 5. Sorry. This needs to be be fixed as quickly as possible.
I have to say that this game is good if you are into rap and pop. I'm not. This app needs a bigger variety of songs as well as different options foe what kind of genre you want your voice to sound like. Overall I am not impressed.
I have atleast 13 songs, but its not letting me play them! I can only make songs. I can then only hear the new song once the same day i made it then it becomes unplayable! Pleease fix for higher rating beause i do not want to delete it and lose all me songs
I've been wondering why this app has been acting so strange on my phone. now I realize this app has actually been taken down from the store, and hasn't been updated in years. That's a shame. It was a genuinely cool app.
