The concept of this app is great, but some basic features barely work. The search is buggy at best. It randomly returns no results sometimes and you have to retype your search several times for it to work. Something with the search as you type logic is broken. Also searching with symbols seems to be broken, cannot find the artist "again&again" in the search, and the search results are limited to 9 results so you can't even scroll through all the possible artists to compensate.
I didn't know I needed this app until I found out it existed. Great concept, pretty good UI. My only complaint is that when I'm in the Artists tab, if I tap on an artist to see their upcoming shows, when I hit the back arrow it goes to the top of the list instead of where I was. With a big library, it gets pretty tedious having to scroll down over and over.
- Calendar entries. If there is a time, we really like to see the event at a time slot and *not* as an all-day event. Please test. Please add last.fm integration. There are tons users having a play history there from pre-2012. - A dark mode would be nice. [Edit: please add a new line in the concerts view. (ie. below tracked artists) that says: upcoming concerts from your library, ordered by date.] All that aside, songkick is still 100x more usable than bandsintown, UX/UI-wise.
Absolutely amazing. I'm so glad I came across this app. I've been able to follow all my favorite artists, comedians, ect. It's super simple to use, and comes with several options to help organize, remind, recommend, ect. It also includes many people and groups that aren't super well known, which is a huge plus. Definitely recommend.
I've used this app for years but I may switch to another. Not sure how data is added, but recently I've noticed that the app is not updating tour schedules. Chris Rock and Kevin Hart both have major tours in 2022, yet this app shows K. Hart off tour and C. Rock w/ 1 date. Searching for festivals via the app can be challenging if u don't know the lineup. Overall its a good app, just wish the database was updated more frequently.
Love this app!!! Just links to your Spotify account bands you like and then notifies you when one of them is playing near you... so easy to use, and you can mark the gigs you are interested in going to. So many gigs I had no idea were going on all now at my disposal..... Brilliant!!
Would be perfect if you could search by date. It's a fantastic idea... I've found gigs and bought tickets through the app but unless I've missed it I can't figure out how to search by date- trying to see what's on in London in May means scrolling forward for ages.
Ticket prices listed on this app actually cost 150% more than that listed price. A Who ticket at the TD Boston Garden is listed for $61/per ticket, so two tickets cost $122. But the link to Ticketmaster fails. Even after installing a Ticketmaster app. So I had to go to Ticketmaster's site. Those same two tickets cost $297!!!! They are terrible nosebleed seats. They just aren't worth $300. Shame on Ticketmaster for the 150% mark-up. Shame on SongKick. Dysfunction + bait-n-switch.
Great app!! The interface is super easy and great for a good overview of what's playing where. Always got really tired of having to discover what was playing where through different canals and forms of media, I love how centralised it is now!
Won't let me log in via Spotify as it's linked to my Facebook, and I keep running into a 'no permission for embedded browsers' error...DESPITE the fact that I HAVE given permission via my Facebook app. I've tried EVERYTHING and nothing works! Help!
Great app to check out concerts in certain cities or for certain artists. Wish it allowed you to input dates for you to narrow down your search though, it's annoying to have to scroll through all the concerts.
I love it, idk if better alternatives exist but trust me you're settled with this app! Only thing that woud be nice if you guys added more platforms to scan automatically for artists. I have no idea how complicated that must be so still 5/5 :) And a thank you to the whole team who make this possible! <3
Useful app just needs better filter features. If i want to view concerts for a specific month & specific day two months in advance, scrolling through the hundreds of other concerts to get to that month is very inconvenient.
I was informed by songkick about a Paul Van Dyk show coming to Vancouver BC ( Feb 5, 2022), but not notified by SK when the show got canceled. Furthermore the company selling the tickets MyZone Tickets looks like it totally disappeared! Not able to get in touch with them for my refund. The whole experience- very disappointing!!! Hi, OK- understood, I updated my rating to 4/5. I still think that I should have been notified by SK about the cancellation, but totally get the ticketing situation. Thx
For some reason it's not showing the new edition concert that's coming to my hometown February 16th 2022 it keeps saying nothing in your area when I type in New Edition and it's disappointing I had to find out from someone else that they were coming luckily I found out and I got my ticket but if I had depended on this app I would have been disappointed so I'm done with this app
Setting up and navigating to personal cities should be more intuitive. Still, very useful, I've used it for years.
I find all my gigs here. Though the app isn't great. Try finding "Flaming Lips" or "Breeders" - they don't exist. Crazy. You need to add "The" and then they show up. This should be corrected. Still, use it daily
What's not to like about a fantastic free app that has helped me go to loads of great gigs. The support team are also friendly and helpful, marvellous!
Honestly ,yes sometimes it gives me some good news, about the bands I really DO appreciate & or Love ,but ,not indispensable ; For sure ,I can not live WITHOUT MUSIC 🎶🎵,& to give notes about all the apps ,I've more important to do than this ,sure that, guys you can improve yourselves. So let me know, better, songkick Concerts. Thanks for your time and energy.
