Songsterr Guitar Tabs & Chords

I got songsterr for the drum tabs a few years ago and it's a fantastic app. They keep songs and musical notations up to date and the app just keeps getting better and better. Regardless of the instrument you play if you're looking to learn to play songs you like I'd highly recommend this. If you're a drummer looking for tabs this is the only one I've found with a decent selection over years of looking.

The scrolling feature from left to right should be brought back as an option for songs with tabs. The scroll from up to down isn't good for some songs, because you won't be able to see the next notes to be played, because it's covered at the bottom. It's impossible to use on a phone now, because of it. Plus, the tab shouldn't auto align when the user tries to lower or raise the tabs a little so we can view the next bar when playing the songs.

Awesome app, tons of songs a pretty high accuracy, better than what I can do on my own. Even if you think notation needs adjusting, it's at least 95% of the way there for you already. Minimal ads, but I think I'm going to pay for premium to support to app. I use this for drumming, and my only suggestion is a feature to be able to turn off the other instrument(s) when listening to the player for a specific instrument, such as drums only, or even bass only, etc.

This app use to be wonderfull,, the way it was set up and how the song played along, Now it is way too slow with too many ads and they changed the way the song played along. This was a delight to use now it seems like more trouble then it is worth. They need to make it the way it used to be and take all the damn ads away. Also it used to be one fee for lifetime use of the app now they charge a Montly fee and there's really no extra features to make it worth it. Overall it's not the worst app.

So I think I had previously paid for the premium, the features are all unlocked and it has a gold symbol next to my account in the settings. I'm only saying this because I don't have the option to go premium and it's been a while since I signed in, rather than just using it on the go. Anyway, I can't express how amazing this app is in every possible way. It has everything I could ask for. This is what every musician needs in their arsenal. I'd rate it with 11 stars if I could. Highly recommend.

For 5 bucks you really can't beat this app man. I play bass and they have a lot of really obscure stuff I wasn't expecting them to have. The note for note translation is still a tab somebody figured out it seems. But to play just the bass or instrumental and be able to slow it down and speed it up is great. I've been using it for about 3 years now and have learned a bunch of songs. I really love it.

Songsterr is the best tab app around! I highly recommend Songsterr for any tab using musician! I've been playing guitar for 20 years, and I've been using Songsterr for over 15! It helped me through every musical hurdle. It helped me learn to play bass, and taught me to play drums! It helped me better understand the interactions between instruments and inspired me to re-learn reading sheet music! Now I play keyboard/piano too! If you have the will for learning music, Songsterr is the way!

The app is ok, most content for guitar, for other instruments like drums a lot more limited. The search option is very basic, it would help if you could filter on band name, song name, etc. Some songs are hard to find because it shows all the songs with the words of the band name... I think this issue would be easily fixable.

Used to be great, but they changed the view for bass from being one continous line that was easy to read to having 3 lines on the screen simultaneously. The smaller text is really hard to see and when it jumps back to previous sections it is way more disorientating than it used to be. I really wish there was a way to go back to the previous veiw.

The app is amazing, I picked it up while i was in Korea 2016 and have been using it since. Pairing it with YouTube for strumming pattern ( if you're not able to figure it out like I am ) it's an invaluable tool for beginner guitar players.

Good app, great song selection with good playback tools... ...but eats my battery like nothing else does. Played for maybe 30 minutes and it burned though over 30% of my battery (from full charge to under 70%). No other app on my phone uses this much battery (Samsung Galaxy S10e). That's the only reason it's not 5 stars

This is the best platform of its kind. But let us search by band/artist. The new horizontal scrolling tab is rubbish so I hate using it now... I will have to buy a spare laptop just to have the web version open in a convenient place to play.

Great app! I just started learning how to play the bass guitar and this app has helped me a ton. Loved it so much, I even bought the premium (which is not a subscription, but a one time purchase!) I would suggest adding some way of taking notes on the tabs, it'll make things a whole lot easier.

Bought this app on one phone, no ads, phenominal app. Shattered a screen, then downloaded to my backup phone, and guess f$@#n what?? Now i got ads! From google! Boy am i flippin mad! I paid $24 for this damn app to keep from having ads and yet here we are, why, bc of ads! Why take my damn money if there is gonna be ads any damn way! Either return the purchase price or get rid of the damn ads! Im tring to learn something, not trying to hit the "close" tab on the ad after every fkn piece of music.

Thousands of songs at your fingertips. Not perfect but definitely gets you in the ballpark. Note for note perfection is mind numbingly boring anyways.

Awesome tool. I have no clue how these guys can make tab that when played through some sort of tab player actually sounds like guitar and you can play along to it. There is a large amount of available tabs as well. It's the best thing since OLGA back in the day if you remember that.

Totally digging it! Got a new strat and an app and it's like I never quit playing. Really good job y'all. (Add a metronome on the chord charts for bonus points)

i got this at a ridiculously low offer price off play store so not factoring cost i enjoy it tremendously. 4 stars on paid plan i think. found a really good variety of tabs and chords. pink floyd to holst and all in between. is as or more accurate than ultimate guitar. if you view a cello piece - of course is still in 6 string tab - could logic be applied to make it fit to a 4 string instrumentation in C and 5ths to learn other instruments the same fashion? updates 3 times a week :-/

This app is great for learning songs that I'm not able to play,and is very slow with it's style but,i don't see any other reason to use it instead of the normal songsterr.

Great app for those who wanna learn songs on various instruments though they dont seem to update their library and add newer songs too often. But either way still an amazing app

My favorite tool for learning songs. Perfect for any player. Some transcribing needed for some songs but overall this app is amazing.

This is a wonderful guitar tab app.. it works really well and you can find a variety of songs as well.. so thankful for it.. if I had the means I would upgrade to premium as well.

I'm not convinced that anyone writing tab for this app actually knows how to play a guitar. Some of the notation I've seen is not even possible to play. It's alright for a basis, but take all the tab with a HUGE grain of salt.

Super helpful even if you're not buying the full version. I can't stress enough how much it helped me. The only gripe I have is that there is a limited account of songs. Otherwise amazing!
