It's awesome!!!, There's a cool cutscene here and a NEW ABILITY CALLED "peel out" it's really cool and super strong ability that you feel sonic is fast and theres two options of spin dash!!!! I still choose the genesis Spin dash because it's easy to use.
I'm having trouble playing this game due to inputs not going thru because of how big my android phone is. Please update it so the issue goes away. Or at least add a slider to adjust how big you want the controls to be. If either get added i will add my 5 stars in. That's a promise
It's a great game. I tried to play Sonic 1 and 2 but I didn't enjoy those games as much. So I decided to play this game for the first time. It's now probably my favorite sonic game. I love how it has the Japanese soundtrack. I just downloaded this yesterday and I'm already almost finished with the game. This review will probably be deleted like all my other reviews.
Full of bugs. Tried to clear the cache and data but still not working. Fix the platform 😒. Too pity for such a classic not to work if you decided to do an android version.
this game is a good port but some of the ads take up too much space on my screen, so i can't click x to get out of the ads, forcing me to restart the game
I'm a huge Sonic fan and this game was the only reason why I really really were a Sonic Fanboy and honestly I give it a five because this is the first game where I honestly get to see some good action and some good people fight and honestly I'll give you the five because this is my second favorite song again besides Sonic mania
While I do enjoy soni cd the thing that gives it a 3 star is that the controls are kinda annoying for me but I also do not enjoy how annoying the world is it is like a mirror maze I can't get out of a zone and when I pass it I'm like how did I do that? And yeah it alright
This is great, its awsome, it has amy which is funny how she always chase sonic. I aslo like the soundtract US and JP ,not to mention the intro animation , though the boss music is creepy and the bounce circle thingy is so anoying, but overhall this is a great game
The controls are worst when i am trying to go right in the d- pad goes left so pls make the controls are fixed and the special stages are so hard that i got only 3 time stones the other are so hard .
Great classic. I love how tails was added. One complaint though... TOO MANY ADDS I go to press play, an add appears I go to pause, an add appears
Please allow a way to turn off the touch screen overlay when a controller is connected. Or a transparency slider like in the sonic 1 and 2 mobile ports.
The game was fun... Until an ad made me die.... I also got stuck in an ad and there was X after waiting over a minute.
This game is a great port with all of the mechanics working quite well and it is kind of a bummer that you have to have wifi to play but the game and mechanics overshadow that
Can't play it. Can't close or skip the ads. The close ad button is off the edge of the screen.
It's a bit of a fever dream, with bold, clashing colours, transporting through time, confusing layouts and other elements. It still feels like a Sonic game, but it's not the best, especially the special stages. I like that it's been updated to have save functions (but no level select after completion), and best of all that Tails is an unlockable character. The ads are annoying, but it's only $2 to get rid of them. Controls seem to work well for the most part.
Too many ads for me. Sonic 1 has less, but its more hard, so I guess that's the price you pay.
This game is really fun, kind of a quick game if you play straight without stopping but other than that the game is really fun, yea there are ads but it doesn't pop up every time you complete a level my only real issue is to make the game a bit more challenging by making you restart the whole entire zone again from start instead of just restarting at the back of level. But other than that this game is great
Cant even play the game, the ad's that pop up are to big for my phones screen and i physically cannot hit the X as its off of my screen.
It's an astonishing game. Sega did a great job, the only thing I ask of this is to add Knuckles, thanks alot!

Great game and great storyline! CD is a great game and has an interesting story! I have absolutely no problems with this game, but the special levels are hard as heck! I get that the special stages are supposed to be hard but trying to aim at UFO's and actually hitting them is just hard and annoying. I wish that when I jump, I can automatically hit the UFO's but NOPE, pass right through them. Great game but I wish the special stages are little easier and more fun, but overall 5 out of 5 stars!
The game is fun. But, the save slots should work like the ones in Sonic 1 and 2. So, we can replay levels to get the time stones. Also, I think that we should add Knuckles and Sonic+Tails. In the settings, we should have the ability to make the buttons ( joystick + jump)bigger or smaller, and we should have the buttons the same as Sonic 1 and 2. Thank you for reading. :)
One star, Would date it 0 purely for absolutely AWFUL ads and Wacky Workbench 3, Wacky Workbench is the worst designed zone in sonic history, Super annoying, Tedious boss, and flashing lights that give you head aches, What was SEGA thinking...
Works as expected (although I didn't finish) and has some form of keyboard support, which is good for playing on a Chromebook, but no mouse support, so I have to awkwardly reach for the screen. Ads are...*sigh* Oh well. Never did like the special stages in this game even when I played in the 90s, but I'm likely an outlier here. Good for revisiting Sonic history.
Fantastic import of a fantastic game! Gives me hours of fun. in fact, it is so fun that I am not at all bothered by the ridiculous amount of ads. ( Though I would prefer it if ads on the title screen wouldn't overlap the amount of time stones I have on the file select, and when you press continue on pause ) Also, I found a solution to the static glitch. Turn the music on max, but the sound effects to half way. The sound effects are still quite load, so still easy to hear. Thanks for the game!
So much fun! If your going to play Sonic CD, this is the way to. It's a remastered port of the original, with new characters to play as, better controls, level fixes, and much more! You can pick whether the soundtrack is the JP version or NA version, along with lots of other settings to make your experience just the way you'd like it!
The game plays nicely, but I have a few problems with it. -Ads. While you can play the game completely to the end for free, there will always be ads that jump in your face after beating a level or such. Even on the pause screen there's an ad. You can buy no (non-SEGA) ads for $2 USD, but my purchase seems to have refunded itself for some reason. -SFX: They sound BAD on my ears. While they're okay on their own, they can sometimes turn to static. -Instruction book: HOW DO I GET TO THE NEXT PAGE!?!
By far the best sonic game on mobile the controls are finally fixed the classic games are better than modern mobile games. There are several flaws like jumping everywhere and wierd and wacky mechanics and levels that are more like mazes which need intense amount of strategy For example chaos collision zone 3 that's most probably the reason why most people leave and hate this game but it's mostly good but not perfect.
