Lately, I keep getting an "unexpected error". I log out, uninstall the app, and restart my phone and I still get the error message. So frustrating since it prevents me from seeing the full menu and/or checking out. This has been happening for several months now. Update: I can see the menu and put stuff in my bag but get an order error when I check out. What's it take to fix the bugs?!

App only allows you to order about half the time .. otherwise it gives a "unexpected Error" message, and will not allow the order to go through. I have 2 different phones on two different networks, and it does the same thing, so I know it isn't the phone or network. When it does work, it is handy and has good deals on occasion .. and of course the half price drinks .... But those deals aren't any good if you can't place the order.

I used to love this app cause it saved a ton on drinks and stuff, but lately this app is a nightmare. I would place an order and it would take a long time to load before saying an error has occurred. On top of that it charges you every time it bugs out. Sonic really needs to fix this if they want to keep customers. I'm Uninstalling until this is fixed.

This app is user friendly and so organized. The problem is when you get all the way to the order screen and it gives an error message saying it can't complete the order. 😔 Sitting in line next to a friend and she is able to complete her app order on an iphone. 🤦‍♀️

Sonic is great. This app, however, works perfectly only once in a blue moon. You name it. Random crashes. Orders not going through. Not being able to check in. Being looked out of your account. Being logged out in the middle of trying to order. Your prder disappearing. Being double charged. I feel sorry for Sonic. Their IT people are ripping them off.

Dont bother with this app. It lets me add things to my cart to place an order ahead of time, but when it comes to paying, it just spins and resets. I tried 3 different times with 3 different cards, and same thing. Would NOT let me actually place my order. Ended up having to place my order onsite

This app has always been somewhat unreliable. However since covid happened, this app is always turned off more than it is on for the 2 Sonics in Carlsbad NM. The stalls are more often closed also. The story is, they cannot hire enough help. At one time that was believable, but should not be the case now as other fast food services seem to have no problem. Perhaps the problem is poor management or low pay. I wonder what the franchise would say about the lack of service.

I used to use the sonic app to order ahead all the time, but lately every time I try and submit my order, it fails to complete. Both me and my wife have this problem on our devices. It is very frustrating because we enjoy the promo benefits that are only found through the app. I won't be eating at Sonic again until this issue is resolved. Ordering in person somehow always results in my order getting messed up, which is another reason why I loved ordering ahead so much. Please fix this, Sonic.

I had the app, but deleted it after I had a fraudulent charge on my account by Sonic. Months later I give it another try to see if maybe it was just a one time situation, but once again I have another fraudulent charge by the app on my debit card. This is the second card that has been frozen and replaced due to the sonic app. Watch out for your cards that are linked to the app. Unfortunately, I'm not going to give it another chance. Two times was enough to have to deal with this problem.

Cannot order half priced slush with any other deals on the same order, or it says "an unexpected order has occured" I also can't order through the app if there's condiments added. The design would be great if the execution wasn't so terrible. I shouldn't have to make 2 separate orders just to get my food and drinks, and sauces. Edit: not only has the issue not been resolved, but in the last weeks, I have been unable to order ahead entirely. I can't even get to the page with payment info anymore

Would be a decent app if it actually worked. Often I'll get my order ready and try to pay, only for it to say it could not create the order or that there was a problem trying to pay. When it's the latter, it has no problem charging my card and making me wait for the pending charge to cancel itself the next day. I'm hard of hearing so ordering at the speaker is difficult; when the app doesn't work I usually just have to go elsewhere.

Ordering through the app is the only way to go! Half price drinks and slushes at any time of day?!? Love that. Favorites are Cherry, Strawberry, Blue Raspberry and Blue Coconut Slushes. I usually just get 2 and put one in the freezer for later. There are a few things that I would change in the app. One is show item prices with the menu, currently the prices don't show until you go to your bag. It would make it easier to decide what to order. Another would be to allow multiple rewards per visit.

"Something's not right" -- your lousy app! Something's not right about my order after trying again, emptying and refilling my bag, closing and reopening the app, reconnecting to the Internet, updating the app, and clearing its cache -- I give up! P.S. "Something's not right" -- after yet another update; after a dozen "Something's not right"s in a row and troubleshooting as described above, I'm done trying -- non-functional app removed!

I used to love using the Sonic app. It was convenient and the app exclusive deals and 1/2 price drinks were great. Now, it's a miracle if the app works. I have uninstall and reinstall numerous times and usually it still doesn't work. Many other places have gotten business because of the app failure. Latest update hasn't fixed any issues and the app works less than before.

The last three times I've tried to use it there is an error. The order won't go through. It is difficult to get what you want because certain options are unavailable. If you are out of an item, you are charged for it and not told until you arrive. There is no option to alert customers to availability. I've almost quit using the app. About ready to delete it.

They don't show you the price of items until you go to checkout, which seems like some sort of awful strategy to get you to order the pricier items. There is a $75 limit on orders, which I also didn't find out until I tried to check out; if they would tally up the total as you add items, it could stop you before you add several items over the limit. Even after I removed items from that large order, the app continued to error out, so I still had to order in person since the app didn't work
