The game is great but there are major issuses with the game. Ex- Tails gets tired easily, some stages are hard such as stage 2 act 3, stage 3 act 1 and 3, stage 4 act 2 ,and 3 are the levels that are to hard if someone is new at the game. There is also no debug mode for epsode 1 or 2 which makes everything a bit more annoying for people who want to have fun with codes. Sonics moves are shorter lasting than in other games. I side with bethanial nandy on this one. The older games were better.
To me the game is great honestly amazing but the special stages have the Sonic 2 vibe and we want to go for a newer vibe don't we and there's not that many good levels in the game so maybe add actual level that's not from Sonic 2 since it's basically based on Sonic 2 I would think it would be a real good improvement to the game to add newer stages and an actual good story
Not a bad game especially compared to episode 1. But it just has WAY too many ads literally everywhere! What's that? You accidentally paused and wanna unpause? Watch an ad first! EVERY MENU HAS ADS Other than that it's a decent game
This is awesome for a mobile game, it doesn't deserve the hate it gets. I WOULD rate 5 stars, BUT in episode metal, carnival road, the background is broken and NEEDS to be fixed. Otherwise, great game, would totally recommend!
-Crashes on the first boss- So I played this game 10 years ago when I came out on Xbox 360. I Decided to play it again. I got to the first boss battle, and it just crashes every time. I love sonic games and I really like this one because you can play as metal but the problem is when I pause the game and then unpause an ad pops up and when the ad plays it pauses the game so basically when you pause the game then your stuck in a loop of ads
Great game, my only problem was my game crashing in oil desert act 1 and 2, I contacted developers and they responded only a few hours later and say they are working on it. The game has a fun story to it with the cool new combos you can do with tails, but also bringing back some nostalgia from some of the older sonic games, ignore the haters, they have fixed a lot of issues and this is a fun experience for sonic fans.
I feel that the game is just very broken because my game has been crashing all the time and I haven't even beaten the game yet I would give it a better rating if they got rid of bugs and not so many ads
This game is actually pretty good! It has pretty good graphics like Sonic 1 episode 4, it's just that I hate that it's very hard in water levels, but I don't care at least you tried to make the game better please add some updates to the game because that's how you gets hate comments
It's ok. If u got the add free version then its smooth sailing but if u didn't then oh boy, u cant even go into special stages without your screen blacking out because of ads, it has good game play so Sega please fix this to make the perfect game
Ok so when I was about 4 I got this game on my ps3 and I absolutely love and hate this game so this game has a few ok mechanics but it's so bland and boring Let's compare sonic 2 So tails has his own campaign there, and can actually fly (in his own campaign) What does he have here 2 moves and online play If you get this game it should be for nothing more than nostalgic purposes
As a game it's perfect but there is a tiny bug , when I enter some levels like the oil ocean zone or boss battle the game stop and I bring back to my phone wallpaper and because that bug I can't get the seventh chaos emerald because there is no more zones so please fix that bug okay ??
Whenever I get onto the first areas boss it kicks me out of the game. And the tab for the game is still open but it still sends me back to the sega logo.
Good game but for some reason using a controller to play the game is a little weird because the up-and-down is inverted other than that it works fine
It's an okay game but there's a lot of downgrades, like this is 3d not 2d and the hands are too small and sonics run is classic sonics run, not modern sonic, this game is not recommended.
Hot garbage. Controls are sluggish and unresponsive. Level design is meh. Game sometimes crashes on first world boss and 100% crashes when trying to load world 3 stage 1.
This game is the best I have playing this for 4 months but there is one error when tails and snic join then sometimes error happens but still vary good game I liked it I hope you fix the error
I completed oil desert 3 first but if I pick 1 or 2 the game froze and crashed could you please fix this I still don't have sky fortress. But if you need rating this game is awesome. I completed this game 2 times but I reinstalled it now.
Terrible. Everytime i open the first boss battle, the game kicks me out. I would be more than happy to rate this 5 stars if this glitch would be fixed.
I would have gave it five stars but every time I play act 1 and 2 of the crude oil stages, it crashes and kicks me out the game please Sega fix this.

I loved the game it is all great although it does complete episode 1 it is still not clear, even after sonic 3 and CD it is still great. Also the episode metal was made of CD and episode 1 it is good. So please make sonic 4episode 1 be free
I wish I could give this game ZERO stars. This game is so bad, I would 100% Sonic 06 then complete the first act. In fact, I STILL haven't completed the first act because of how little I care about this game. You're better of playing Sonic Runners Adventure (yeah, the bad one made by Gameloft).
After having this game for a while, there have been some bugs that appeared recently. For one, in the 3rd Metal Sonic level, the background is EXTREMELY glitchy. Two, the game has been crashing at some points. Like when you touch a capsule, or when your on the loading screen. This has caused the game to be a lower rating for me. If they were fixed, the game would have a higher rating. If they were fixed, it would be back to five stars.
